Update: WOW IS ALL I CAN SAY! WRONG ITEM/ORDER OVER & OVER Every single time I eat Whataburger they mess up my order. In the drive thru, every time I order apple pies they give me lemon. Last week they gave me 1 lemon pie when I ordered 2 apple pies! They have forgotten fries, given the wrong size fries, and the wrong burgers. They've put everything on burgers instead of "no mayo no tomato". Once asked if wanted ketchup or spicy ketchup then didn't put any in the bag... I'm guilty of continuing to purchase from this location but I have to thoroughly check my bag before even pulling away. Disgusting- after not indulging in fast food for some time I broke down and picked up 3 #1 Whataburgers with cheese and bacon. I got home and the burger was cold, the cheese wasn't even melted. I had no problems minus the 15 cars in front of me. The food was fresh and hot when I got to window. This is a good experience at whataburger I've had a lot of bad ones going late night and people not taking pride in they're work. But my fries were fresh and the burger was so good I wanted to turn around and get another one. This location is good in my books and it was around 12am I salute the team. Whataburger is Whataburger, right? With this specific location, I've been several times over the years and can't really recall having any ill experiences but none worth 5-stars either. Sometimes their crowded...mainly breakfast time, but name a Whataburger that isn't? Though, the line usually moves at a fairly reasonable speed I do dislike when they ask customers to "pull up" so they can bring the food out...but I've experienced this at most locations. I do wish the drive-thru was thought out a little better...it can often times block the passing lane. Ordering from the app is my new favorite thing! Just went through the drive thru and after waiting 15 minutes to get to the window, I paid and was told by Shaniqua to go back through the line and when I got back my order would probably be ready. I tried to get her to let me pull over to the side and she said no. She said she was sending all of the cars around again. This caused a major traffic problem. The entire store was circled in cars and no one in parking spots could get out. I called the store while in line for the second time and explained what was going on. I was told they didn't have time to discuss the problem because they were trying to make hamburgers. I begged for someone to bring my food out and they finally did. Still was stuck in the line another 10 minutes to get to the exit. Total time to get 1 order of chicken strips 55 minutes. read more

The food is alright but the service is terrible!!!! Drive thru line was so long that it was overflowing into the street so we came inside to order togo and other people did as well. We've been waiting over 35 minutes for one burger. The workers are dancing, singing and making jokes but they have a lobby full of people who have been waiting on their food. A big fat zero is what they deserve. I have lived in Texas all my life and the Silver Lake Whataburger location in Pearland, Tx is the absolute WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have experienced constant horrible service at this particular location. The curbside service is not a priority as a tactful bypass of the for mentioned always slow and packed drive through. I waited 15 mins after my mobile projected time and an hour in the drive though. This issue needs the be addressed via a corporate overhaul. First of all the service was terrible while going through drive thru. Once the cashier handed me the drink it was half open and spilt on me and I asked for a napkin and she responded "you'll get one when you get your order" second of all she was stingy on the Spicy ketchup only giving 2. The parking lot may be full or the drive through may be long, but I've never had to wait for a long period of time. My order always comes out right and tastes fantastic. I went to this location sunday night to grab a burger (I never eat burgers but I was starving and had to travel back downtown at 12 am and I thought hey, why not, it's been about 3 years since I've had one and it might be good) THAT WAS THE WRONG ONE TO STOP AT! I got a Monterey Melt and went home. Once I got home and started eating the burger I felt something sharp poking me in my jaw. I spit out the burger to notice a long piece of jagged plastic that had been inside my burger. I was livid. I will never EVER buy from this location again. I was told the reason the longs are long by staff is based on the short staff of cooks. "We only have 1 cook at night." Management needs to do better with staffing. As others have stated, this location has seen better days. Service is slow, workers are unfriendly and unmotivated. Orders have an unacceptably high chance of coming to you inaccurately and sloppily put together. On my most recent visit, I asked the drive-thru girl if they were still serving the A1 burger. "Yes" was her reply, so I ordered it. I paid for my order at the first window and was told to pull over to "lane b" (where vehicles tend to wait extra long for their food). That's fine, I'll wait. While I was sitting in lane b, an employee walked over to my car to tell me that the A1 burger is no longer available. I explained quickly that I had already paid for it - "A1 Thick & Hearty Burger" was literally printed on my receipt, along with the associated $6.04 cost. I asked if I could substitute the A1 burger with something of equal or slightly greater value, like a triple meat whataburger without any cheese or extras. The worker went back inside, then returned to tell me that the manager said no, but I could get a double meat whataburger, which happens to cost nearly a dollar less than what I had already been charged. I asked to speak with the manager. The manager never came out; instead, another regular employee brought me a double meat whataburger. I didn't feel like wasting time to confront the manager about this nonsense, so I just returned home with a double meat whataburger that cost me an extra dollar.
