Being from Texas, I will generally go out of my way to go to Whataburger. This location, however, I actively avoid. The past 5-6 times I've gone, it's taken between 30 and 45 minutes in the drive thru. That's not great even during the lunch or dinner rush, but none of these times have been during peak hours. The last 3 times I went, it took 30 minutes at 2PM, 45 minutes at 10:15PM, and 40 minutes at 9:30PM. I tried going inside one time to see if it would be any quicker. It ended up taking 30 minutes (around 10PM). This is the only whataburger I've ever been to that has this problem. I don't know what the management is doing wrong, but it's ridiculous. On top of that, they mess up my order way too often. I've been to a ton of whataburgers in my life, and this is by far the worst. read more

I swear the drive through line does not move. Expect to wait 30+ minutes in the drive through if there's more than 4 cars in line.

Update: I hope you pay these people well for all the crap they have to go through here. Just sayin' ---- I go to this Whata often so I thought I'd finally leave a review. I'd say about 10% of the time I have a good experience here. It's slow, orders are always wrong, and it's always unpleasant whether its employees or customers. The nighttime wait in the drive-thru is anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, and the inside wait is even longer. Once I waited an hour for one honey butter chicken biscuit while I was out with friends. I only stayed because I thought "no way it won't be out in 5 more minutes... okay 5 more... okay 5 more!" Every single time I've ordered, something was wrong or forgotten so please check your bag before you drive away. The only good experiences I have are when a manager is working or it's mid-morning. I have a lot of sympathy for Whata employees in a college town, and some of the assh*les I see in line make me feel so bad for them. But, at the end of the day, this is some bad service. All of this being said I come here a lot, just know what you're getting into and consider McDonalds for a quicker late night bite! read more

This particular Whataburger really needs to step it up. I'd say that out of all the times that I've been, they get the order wrong at least 50% of the time. This last time I went in store to order rather than the drive-through thinking it might be a little bit more clear in a little bit quicker but instead I stood in line for a good five minutes with only one person in front of me (And still messed up my order). The employees are not very hospitable, and don't seem to care about their work at all. This Whataburger either needs new management or new employees altogether. read more

Worst Whataburger ever. This is why Whataburger went out years ago in Oklahoma. The people waiting the counter can't get the orders right. The people behind me had at least 6 different burgers to them for the three they ordered. The last just came with all veggies in a box on the side because the staff couldn't figure out how to bring a burger out with no onions, no tomatoes. The staff didn't understand which number went with which tray of food. You had to wait 15 to 20 minutes for your food. You would think it would be hot, right? No, lukewarm. Some of the fries tasted like they were left over from the middle of the night. Next time I'll drive on to the Moore location. read more

My sister has been wanting to try Whataburger ever since we were in Houston because this chain doesn't extend to where we live in the south. Per the suggestion of my Houstonian friends, who apparently only get the chicken fingers here, that's what I ordered. My sister and cousins ordered the same jalapeño burger and a chicken sandwich, all to-go. My meal came with three chicken strips, two triangles of Texas toast (which was neither thick nor toasted), medium fries, and a 32 oz. drink. The burgers came with the typical medium fries and 32 oz. drink as well. The food overall was okay -- the chicken wasn't dry and the burgers were alright. The fries got soggy super fast and were pretty salty. The honey mustard was good and they've got "fancy" ketchup, as well as spicy ketchup made with jalapeño puree. The restaurant was fairly clean but the soda machine in the front was broken and no one could get a carbonated beverage. One of the employees said the machine for the drive-thru was broken, too, but the manager somehow managed to get us some drinks. It was a unanimous agreement that we wouldn't care to come back again. One pro about Whataburger is that it's open 24 hours and it's fairly close to OU for those college kids who need to satiate their late night hunger. read more

I am not a fan of reviewing chains - I figure you know what to expect. However, this particular location was so great at food, service, and cleanliness they needed a shoutout! My stepdad was with us and he has Alzheimer's- it's pretty obvious - the staff went above and beyond to help us get seated and stop by our table to see if they could help or get us anything. Our food was SO good! Whataburger had a cult following so those of you who know only need to be assured this is a good store! Our fries & rings were all hot & fresh too. Slowest "fast food" I've ever experienced. Took over 25 minutes to get a single burger and fries. At one point saw my burger just sitting out, waiting to be dressed, for close to 7 minutes. Actually asked someone what was going on. One older gentleman actually walked back up to the counter shortly after getting his order because his fries were only half full. Watched one of the employees wipe her nose on her hands then handle food. Gross. Several employees were just standing around, gossiping. Place was not full or busy. There was not a line in the drive through when I entered, but was by the time I left, which I attribute to the ridiculously slow service. There are tons of other fast food burger joints within walking distance of this one. Go somewhere else. read more

If I could give this Whata zero stars I would. This is by far the WORST Whataburger in existence. It is SO slow and the food is never good. There have been multiple times where the fries are too salty to eat. If there was another location nearby I would never eat here again. I was so impressed by the service and cleanliness of this fast food restaurant. The staff were unbelievably friendly; they greeted us, walked us through how to use our coupons, checked up on us several times, not to mention cheery and thoroughly polite. Besides wonderful staff, this location also boasts impressive cleanliness, keeping the tables wiped and disinfected almost before they've been vacated, which was quite a nice change from most fast food places. I've never had much of an opinion about Whataburger, but this place has definitely changed that. read more

I'm writing this because I spent 35 minutes in the drive-thru last night with only just 2 cars in front of me. I've been to this Whataburger multiple times and never have I once been in and out of this location in less than 15-20 minutes (mainly drive-thru). After reading some other reviews I'm shocked this problem still hasn't been taken care of. I have been in lines almost 4 times as long at chickfila, but I am in and out in less than 6 minutes. I LOVE Whataburger, but these folks need to take a page out of Chick-Fil-A's page. This is the second time I've tried them and their drive through was unbelievably slow. This second time, I actually was able to back up and get out of the drive thru line after it didn't move for a couple minutes. So I came inside and, surprise, there was a line. Today (Sunday, October 18) around 2:30pm, my friend and I had the absolute worst experience i've ever had at a fast food restaurant. First, we ordered 2 large meals, but the girl thought I said large fry and medium drink. That's completely fine just a misunderstanding. She asked us to pull up to the next window. We waited a short while and then a guy brought us our food. I asked him for spicy ketchup to which he replied "it's in the bag" then slammed the window. No surprise here, it was not in the bag and on top of that both of our fries were medium. So, my friend goes up to the door and knocks and just explains the situation. This nice girl comes out with a large drink for us and she apologized for how some of the other people were acting (which was really sweet i wish i remember her name.) While we were waiting again for our food (still at the third window) this other worker knocks violently on the window and very rudely told us to move. At this point we were getting really upset. So we move forward a little bit to the railing alongside the drive thru. Then another girl comes out with our fixed order and I asked her if they had a manager working today. She then goes "that was the manager" (implying the guy who rudely told us to move) and goes "i'm so sorry i'll get him" because she obviously realized how rude he was as well. HERES THE BEST PART WHERE IT GETS REALLY GOOD. The MANAGER of this store comes out and my friend just told him "hey y'all have been very disrespectful, we were just wanting our food and this has been so difficult" etc and then I just said that the way he yelled at us to move was rude and instead of being nice he became immediately rude and defensive and told us to "get our sh*t right next time" which isn't that the employees job??? and then insulted my friend ( a guy) by saying "that's why she's (me) driving" i guess he is trying to say that women shouldn't drive? Or maybe that my friend is a "loser" for having a girl drive him? Didn't realize i couldn't just want to drive without making my make friends look bad ? By the way my family owns a restaurant so I know how things are supposed to be ran when dealing with food and this is the biggest joke of a fast food restaurant and that manager has absolutely zero business working in customer service. Whoever owns this place should really reconsider who they hire. EDIT: we just got home and checked our food and we had asked for a chicken strip sandwich with no barbecue sauce and there is barbecue sauce on it :))) such a great experience!!! read more

So... who loves a good burger??? I do! I believe Whataburger has one of the best "fast food" burgers. This location has friendly staff, and great tasting food. The only issue I have with this location and why I didn't rate it higher is because of the drive-through. The drive-through is notoriously slow! If they could speed things up in the drive-thru lane I would probably come more often. I am always in rush which makes me pick other place to eat. read more

I keep going back because it's the only one in town, but dang does it ALWAYS take forever. They've recently opened a second lane for payment and food pickup. After waiting 15 minutes in the drive thru, I tried to give my order and asked a question. I was asked again what I would like to order, I could hear in the background yelling among the staff and then was told they were having trouble hearing. This explained the long wait, no one serious about getting the order, just a big party with friends. Would be better if there was a real attempt to take the customer's order. Maybe a manager who could lead a team of employees. After 5 attempts to ask a question and getting the "dumb and dumber" treatment I left. Too slow to be believable. After waiting 30 minutes for 2 breakfast sandwiches and for them to bring out the coffee I asked where my food was. Was told they're making it, but they did bring out the coffee pot finally. Waited another 20 minutes and had to leave for an appointment, so no food no refund, basically paid $6.50 for a cup of coffee. Absolutely horrible service. I thought the employees slow, lazy and incompetent. I love Whataburgers food but would never go to this one again. read more
