Had a pretty good lunch here. Inside is clean and maintained. Staff are friendly and talkative which made for an even better experience. Had accumulated enough points to get a free triple meet with cheese! Overall, a pretty standard Whataburger, but seems to be well-maintained and management seems to be keeping the place upbeat and fun with the staff they hire. I would eat here again. read more

I love Whataburger. I love the quality of food; however, their drive thru process is completely flawed and needs to be addressed. A car parked in "VIP" in the drive thru lane was not able to move around to the front to wait on their order. So, as a result, everyone waited over 20 minutes for their food. Staff told me they were unable to ask the car to move up, and that they were short staffed, and sadly "if I wanted a job, I should fill out an application!" It's not the customers fault, they can't get their act together. read more

Why do people go to that other chicken place? The spicy chicken sandwich at Whataburger is the best I ever ate if you like spicy. I don't like french fries to go, but if you eat them in the store, they're pipe and hot and I don't even eat. French fries much but spicy ketchup is so good.. it's all about the mustard at Whataburger. It makes their burger taste so good. At this location the GM is all over the place, he's out talking to people in the eating area. He's filling napkins. He's cashiering and he's in the food line sometimes. I love to go in the mornings because it feels like you're in your local coffee shop with that delicious honey chicken biscuit . I placed an online order for curbside pick up between 4 and 4:05. I arrived a few minutes before 4, and parked in spot 7. At 4:20 I still hadn't received my order, so I called the store and asked what was going on? The manager said he saw nothing on the order screen then asked what I ordered. I told him, and he said he'd make fresh food and bring it out. An employee came out and said the manager would like to give me a free drink. I thanked her and told her what I wanted. Later, they both came back and the manager explained that someone had gone to the counter, saw my name on the order;, claimed to be me, then stole my food. I thanked them for their kindness and accepted the manager's apology. Oh man! My first time at Whataburger was a huge disappointment. Although there was no line at the drive through this afternoon, it still took a while for our food to come out. I imagined big juicy burgers with warm crunchy fries being prepared. What we got were the exact opposite. Everything in the sandwiches were the same temperature. I love Whataburger and have to eat at one every couple of weeks. This was a new location that opened up in the HEB shopping center a few years ago. The store being new may be what has impacted my rating. This is just like all the other Whataburger's, so you know what to expect. However, the help here, seems to be a little slow and unsure of themselves. The food here is not up to the standards of most Whataburger's. I would like to think it's because of the "newness", but it's not really new anymore. Other restaurants are in the shopping center. I have been to 2 different Whataburger locations this week and was very disappointed. I usually go thru the drive-thru but the food quality is not what it used to be. As I drove off, my burger and fries were not even warm and they cannot get the order right. I could tell my order had been sitting for some time and was in the drive-thru for 15 minutes.
