This Whataburger is in a very convenient location, right off 287. Whataburger always takes a while in the drive thru. I guess that means they are making your burger fresh and not giving you something that has sat under the warmer for a while, so Thank you! We went through the drive thru so not sure how the dining room was. The staff at the drive thru were kind and got our order out soon after we finally got to the window. No ketchup, but we order the chicken strips which came with gravy so i wasn't too upset. :) This area is growing FAST so soon it will be another hot mess through here! read more

They dropped my change at the takeout window and got my order wrong. This is the worst experience I've had with Whataburger.

Food was honestly okay but cold. We stopped around 6:30am on Saturday and it took between 30-45 minutes to get food in the drive thru. Only 1 other car was in line. After ordering my food I get to the window and the lady working counter/window left my bag of food on the counter (ready to go) for roughly 10 minutes while she joked and laughed with some other ladies at the front counter. Then proceeded to fill their order, gave them their food, then brought me mine. The wait time was unreasonable for the minimal amount of people there. No excuses. read more

I had a truly shocking experience at Whataburger with my family (all adults who witnessed the incident). When we placed our order, the manager, Lydia, seemed distracted and kept asking us to repeat our order. After we paid and received our food, we realized that we had been given fries instead of onion rings. We politely asked if they could just replace the fries with onion rings, as we didn't want the fries. Lydia's response was that we would have to buy an additional order of onion rings because she didn't hear us request them. We were in disbelief. I even questioned her, saying "are you serious?" because it felt like a joke, but her response was completely serious. She told us to go to the Whataburger down the street. In shock, we drove off and I called the location, but no one answered at first. When I finally spoke to Lydia again and asked for her name, she mentioned that our receipt said fries and not onion rings. Well, exactly--she misheard the order, and we were simply asking her to fix it by replacing the fries with the correct order of onion rings. She still refused, stating she wouldn't make the change unless we paid for the onion rings again. Although I was pretty annoyed by the situation, I kept it professional on the phone. However, Lydia continued to insist that her actions were justified and refused to acknowledge any mistake on her part. She was still "dying on that hill," as they say. She claimed that my questioning of paying for something we already ordered was rude, yet she was completely unwilling to make things right. It's hard to believe she felt our questioning was rude when she wasn't even listening to us in the first place. We clearly said we wanted onion rings, and my son even repeated the order, but Lydia was too distracted to hear us. I'm honestly still in shock because we always treat people in the service industry with respect, and this was the most blatant rudeness I've ever encountered. After looking at the Yelp and Google reviews, it seems we're not the only ones with issues involving management at this location. Lydia was defensive and unhelpful, claiming that we were rude for questioning why we should pay for something we had already ordered, yet she refuses to admit any wrongdoing. To sum it up: This was the most unnecessary and rude interaction we've had at any fast food restaurant. We were simply trying to get what we paid for, and instead, we were treated with hostility. I hope this feedback helps improve service, but I'm still appalled by how it was handled. read more

Ordered at this location curbside. Waited 20 minutes past my pick up time, called, and they said "yeah we are getting around to it." There was no one inside. No one else in curbside. No one in drive thru. They just weren't making it because they were lazy. It took almost 15 more minutes before I finally went inside. Only then did they start to get the order together. read more

Texas is known for a few things & whataburger is definitely on top of that list. I've lived in Texas my entire life & have eaten at hundreds of them & this one is by far the best!! I get off late sometimes especially this time of year & my choices for dinner are usually limited to whataburger. The whataburger in town is actually directly on my way but they are slow on their service & food isn't the best. My point is I literally drive out of my way to come to this whataburger when there's another one next to my house! What I like about them? Always in & out! & the food is always fresh.. Worst customer service ever, I was there on 1/11/22 am. The cashier was Denise, she told me they no longer gave seniors the discount. After me another senior was trying to show her what he wanted to order off his phone. She insisted that she could not see and demanded he read his order to her. She was so unprofessional and insulting to the customer that several people noticed and started making comments to the others that was waiting. The other cashier at the next counter heard how she was dealing with the gentleman she volunteered to take his and was very courteous. Just experienced the worst customer service I have ever had at a Whataburger. My son and I walked in at 4:20pm and placed an order for 2 meals to dine-in. after waiting for 40min and watching 2 other customers walk in, receive their order, and eat, all while we're waiting, they still did not know what our order was. There were 9 employees standing around the counter not really doing anything the whole time we were waiting. and we had to leave without our order because we were made late by having to wait close to an hour for 2 meal orders that never came. I e been to plenty of WABs before and have even frequented this location before. For some reason, maybe because it was daylight savings time (lol) this place didn't seem to have it together. Upon entering the establishment there was nobody st the register as they were all in the back. I heard a person in the back tell another that he had customers. Sigh. We placed our order and sat down. When we received our food it came with NO condiments. We had pancakes but no butter or syrup were offered or provided. We had scrambled eggs and a taquito and again no picante offered. We had to go back up to the counter to get the picante which was in a bucket on the front counter. I didn't get my cinnamon roll when order was brought out. My husband had to go inquire. And he also asked for syrup n butter which for some reason none was provided or brought out. Once I finally went up to inquire about the syrup and butter again it was provided in a bag w the ordered cinnamon roll. Service sucked totally today! Other people walked in sometime after us and again the guy up front had disappeared to the back and they had to ask if anyone was working! People seemed irritated at the service or lack of service received today. They usually have someone walk around with a tray asking customers if they need condiments, etc. This never happened the whole time we were here. Maybe this is a service they have cut back on or just didn't care to perform! A customer upon finishing his meal went to refill his coffee and guess what? The carafe was empty! He was pretty annoyed and voiced it! I don't blame Home. Who lets their product run out?!?! Especially not the coffee. Upon exiting and throwing out our trash we noticed that the trash bins are full to the brim with trash. Finally someone came out to clean the dirty tables as well. I used to have to wait forever and something was always wrong with my order but we went on Friday and the girl who took our order was friendly and our food was fast and really good. We stopped in for a quick meal on our way out of town. It was not busy, no other customers in line and only a few drive thru customers. We ordered and watched as all other orders behind us were completed. Finally, after 20+ minutes of waiting they realized we were still waiting. After a few minutes of trying to figure out what happened, a staff member walked up apologized and asked for our receipt. He immediately told the kitchen our order. We thought that meant it would come out quickly....we were wrong. They continued to fill other customer orders. After another 15 minutes our order was brought to our table. They upsized one of the fries....which were not fresh. And included 2 apple pies. However, one of the burgers ordered (Patty melt and only one of two total meals in our order) was not even on Texas toast! Horrible experience! The slowest WB in all the land. I went in to place a to go order, nothing special, just a #1. I would say this location was semi busy but not swamped. First, I stood at the counter for 5min before anyone acknowledged me. After ordering, I waited 30 min in the lobby. That's simply ridiculous. I went to this whataburger at 12:30 on May 20th 2020. During the "pandemic". I've attached photos of customers orders unattended on the GROUND OUTSIDE for quite sometime! Also while I was there my daughter needed to use the restroom. The manager refused to let her in because it was a health and safety violation. Interesting I said then why are there children in the dinning area?!? She told me those are not customers. I'm like WHAT?! THOSE kids are totally fine being in there for who knows how? Those kids are essential workers??? But all other paying customers are a risk to all of our "health and well-being"?!?!? Are you KIDDING ME?????? This covid hysteria is annoying enough but now they are taking it too far! You are at much greater risk getting sick from your food on the ground than from my daughter using the restroom! I drive past this restaurant on occasion while on the road and have always enjoyed the food and the restaurant. Thursday, 4-5-18, was the exception. The cashier, a male, was somewhat disinterested but completed the order accurately. When I went to my seat, I noticed two other (female) staff members delivering trays of food to those who came before me. On both trips, each staff member carried a second tray for condiments. When my order was delivered, it was the same male who had been the cashier for me. There was no second tray for condiments, no offer to get ketchup, and all he did was set down the tray and walk away with no conversation or "thank you." The same male staff member was noted delivering two separate orders after mine. The first was a booth with four customers and the delivery tray was set upon the table. Once delivered, the staff member turned around and walked away - no condiments offered. The same staff member took another tray to two females sitting in a nearby booth, set it down, and turned around. One of the females asked about ketchup and the employee turned and looked to a nearby table where he pointed to unused ketchup packets on the table. He seemed to suggest that they should go over and get them if they wanted it. This was not a shining example of customer service! As far as my meal, the meat was dry and the bun was stiff inside and out. Sure I was in a hurry so I ate the burger & fries and then attempted to refill my tea on the way out. The tea dispenser was empty. The visit was disappointing. Sure, I'll go back to see if it was an aberration, but I'm concerned that the Whataburger chain has slipped over recent years and perhaps this is a symptom of lack of oversight and/or care at the executive and/or management level.
