This location makes me want to punch babies. Ask for spicy ketchup every time, never get it and then wait 5 minutes to get someone's attention to let them know I'm missing my spicy ketchup. Burger topping requests...legit wrong every time. Ask for no pickles on a burger and they add half the jar. Ask for mayo and ketchup on the burger...you get a plain burger. Offer a shake...order a shake...don't get a shake. There is legitimately something wrong with my order every single time...it's kind of impressive that a location can be this consistently bad. I stopped here to compare their claims to my experience with In 'N' Out, who make unequivocally the best fast-food burgers in the world. First mistake: grinding the lettuce up in micro shreds, so it falls out when the sandwich is picked up. Second mistake: grinding the onion up in micro shreds, so it falls out when the sandwich is picked up. Third mistake: Serving two small meat patties instead of one the size of the buns. This burger cost $9.00. Two better burgers - with double meats and double cheese - @ In 'N' Out Cost $10 plus change. There is no comparison between the two. In 'N' Out has Whataburger beat, hands down. Whataburger, if you want to compete with the best of the best, stop chopping onions and lettuce into sawdust! WORST location ever!!! I got here at 11am and ordered a chili cheeseburger meal with a white raspberry shake instead of fountain drink to go. Simple right? I guess not. After about 5 minutes the cashier brought out my food but said that theyre shake machine was broken and that they were working on it. A few minutes later he said it would be about two minutes. Im waiting and waiting and waiting. Finally at around 1130 ive had enough. I walked up to the counter and just asked for a drink instead and a new set of fries since mine got cold from sitting so long. The thing that bothers me is that the manager didnt check on it or the cashier didnt offer me any type of compensation or accomodation. They didnt even care if my food got cold or anything. Drive thru service is HORRIBLE!! I spent 15-20 minutes in the line all while the other line was going faster. I would say about 7 or 8 cars later I finally requested a manager. Manager comes out and says it's the system and how it takes the orders. Blames it on the high school kids by saying it's their first job. Very poor customer skills. I haven't ordered Whataburger a lot in my life. I decided to try it since it just opened. The double chili burger was a monster! So cheesey and beefy. The thing weighed a ton! The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is that the onion rings were cold. In addition they didn't have the current new promotional items and the dining room isn't yet open. However, didn't get my onion rings, so wasted money paying for them, and ordered my burger no tomatoes, it even says no tomatoes on the receipt, and had four tomato slices on my sandwich. Tried to eat in the dining room, waited 20 minutes, and no-one came to take an order (they did have time to look at their phones, however) and finally left. Went through the drive through, stuck in the middle of 18 cars waiting for food. One person delivering the order, then went back inside to get the card machine and back out again. 25 minutes later, when they finally got the forward cars to go park and wait, I just left and went up to McDonalds. Service is the worst I have ever seen. They need to close, hire enough staff, and perhaps re-open in about 6 months to let the bad memories fade. Ordered 2 Whatabuger Jr. They do not come with Cheese. You can order Bacon and Cheese Whataburger Jr. Was Charged .50 cents each extra for Cheese. Burgers were drenched with Mustard. Not Good. First time visiting, drive thru line is long, dining room is not open and the restaurant forgot 1 of my burgers. There is no phone number listed yet, so I return to whataburger, wait in line again, explain why I was back, they did not apologize and had to discuss the issue with 3 staff members before they closed the window and returned with the manager. The manager tries to charge me for the burger, so i explained again and she also does not apologize, but agrees to delete the charge. I added a small shake, which she charges me for and I paid for, but it would have been nice to atleast recieve a discount, or at minimum an apology. read more
