I drove past several Whataburger's to get here at 9 o'clock at night to be disappointed in the food. Wow... what an amazing fact! Since I've been in Texas for the last several days, I've been wanting to try out Whataburger (Wab). Even though I just had lunch at Rice Pot Express with my co-worker, I took advantage of my presence and checked out Wab LOL. When I walked up to the counter, I didn't know what to expect because a burger is usually made of beef. Well, I stopped eating beef in the year my dad passed away back in 2018. I haven't resumed beef consumption since and I don't plan to start now. Anyway, I was very happy to see they have chicken sandwiches so that's what I got... a grilled chicken sandwich. Besides the sandwich, I wanted to try their shakes. I was hesitant on the white chocolate raspberry shake because white chocolate is usually sweeter than non-white chocolate. However, the gentleman who took my order assured me that he'll make it not too sweet. I said okay and he did good... it had the perfect sweetness! Thank you sir! After I got my order, I wanted to at least get a taste of the chicken sandwich while it's fresh. So I took a bite out of it and it was so good I ended up eating the whole thing LOL. So much for saving it for later LOL. By the way, what's up with the loose lettuce? It's a pet peeve of mine... I don't care for loose lettuce in my sandwich. I'll still eat it though... don't want to waste food. I just prefer the whole leaf lettuce... it's less messier IMHO. That's why I like Jack-In-The-Box, they use the whole leaf lettuce. Staff was very friendly and nice. Prices were okay. Restaurant was clean and bright. It was quite spacious on the inside. I really liked the bright orange color. Literally left 25 minutes ago. I get home to open my #13 with jalapeño ranch and Root beer, to find NO FRIES . I checked the bag several times to make sure I didn't miss something , checked my sister's bag to see if she had extra fires. No fries! I'm too tired to go back up there. They use the thing to cut chicken for you salad to clean the crust of the OUTSIDE of the grill, they reuse meat, and barely never ever clean the grills eating the same grease since last week. As a lifelong Texan, there's no comparison for me in the Whataburger vs. In-n-Out battle. So many late night visits for breakfast taquitos in Dallas, Lubbock, and of course, Frisco over the years. Perhaps my favorite onion rings of any burger place. And for me, the order is always the same...#2, add cheese and jalapeños, hold the tomatoes. Best fast food burger in my opinion. I'm not a big ketchup person, but their spicy ketchup pairs nicely with the rings. I hear they now have a location in Colorado Springs, so perhaps we'll stop by when in the area. read more

At the drive through a friendly, fast employee nailed our order & offered us condiments. All day breakfast food was exactly as ordered, quick, hot & tasty. Hash brown sticks & biscuits 'n' gravy are consistently good. The cylindrical ice is better than regular ice cubes or chips. This what-a-burger is one of the worst I've visited. They frequently leave me standing at the register when I walk in. It always takes too long to receive your order (30+ min). It's cold due to the wait in most cases. The attitude of the employees that work there are normally bad (bad management I assume). I recommend you avoid this what-a-burger. read more

I've always enjoyed the quality food, whether it's my breakfast run or the quick dinner grab like tonight. The drive thru service is quick in the mornings for those who place their mobile orders and use the right lane. Tonight l did that and saw the very long drive thru line, so l asked Cedric, who was handing the curbside service, if he could change my order to that so l could get home. He went inside to check and was able to come out a few minutes later with my order, which was outstanding. I sincerely appreciated him doing that for me - it was reflective of the great service I've always received here. This has become my favorite fast food place in Frisco! read more

Based on number of dine-in and drive-thru customers for Sun lunch this place deserves better Yelp score. We got order taken quickly and delivered fast and hot. We have eaten at other Whataburger locations in Collin county so we made a short road trip to check out this location. No problems in facility or service/food. read more

First time in Texas and this is one thing I wanted to try and didn't get everything I ordered. The hype was not worth it. Nasty food too

Waited for like 5-7 min+ for a simple breakfast meal order. Coffee was 3/4 filled, most guys I interacted with seemed like they clearly didn't want to be there. It's too bad, young high school kids (seem like nice guys) probably but they don't have the leadership (or they are bad hires, in my experience, maybe a bit of both but leadership can fix most problems). Food wasn't hot even after the wait, which was disappointing. Forgot to give me cream & sugar even though I specifically asked. I also had to repeat the order multiple times (there weren't any modifications) - indicating that the guy who took my order wasn't really listening. I am at Starbucks right now because one of the coffees (which I asked for ice coffee and they literally put ice in the coffee (A for effort lol)), but one of them is gross and frothy looking (the one with ice) & the other has no cream or sugar. I went back to the line to get cream/sugar but 2 min wait with 1 car in front of me & no movement was long enough for me to leave & whip over to Starbucks real quick. read more

So I know that Wataburger started their roots here in Texas. Sad to say that I had never ever tried their burgers. Well today I did, the taste was not bad at all, not my first option for burgers of course, but for what I got, I say it was good. I choose the Patty Melt because of the Texas Toast, instead of getting a traditional burger bun, that was a nice treat. Good for when you are on the go and or don't want to go thru the long wait time at the restaurants near by. I've noticed that on the weened and evenings there is a lot of people everywhere and it just makes wait time longer, which is how and why I ended up here today. I was not impressed with the quality of their French fries. They were dry and over cooked. Service was just okay nothing over the top. Would I highly recommend to someone that has never been here? When we finally got to the window 20 minutes after we got in line (and there was only one car at the ordering screen directly ahead of us), our food is colder than cold, the fries are stale, and when I asked for ketchup, she had to LEAVE THE WINDOW TO GO GET KETCHUP and she gave us 1 ketchup. The staff is lazy and I cannot believe that corporate whataburger can have this many bad reviews and not fire the people in charge immediately. This location needs some serious help. I placed an order online and it said it would be ready in 10-12 minutes. Great, that's exactly how far I am from Whataburger. When I pulled in and walked up to the counter, there was absolutely no one manning the cash register. After waiting several minutes I was asked if I've been helped yet. I mentioned an online order and several minutes later, got my drink. I waited a total of 15 minutes inside the store for an order that should have been ready by the time I arrived. What exactly is going on the last 27 minutes? Don't come here unless you have an abundance of time and even then it's probably not worth waiting this long for a burger as there are many other options nearby that won't take nearly as long to get your order. Imagine if I ordered at the counter or the drive through? I would be there for an eternity! This is more like slow food. A restaurant would serve up my food way quicker than them. read more
