I come to this location very often and usually order nuggets cooked fresh. I always use the app for orders as well. A lot of locations get cranky when ordering fresh and using the app. However, big shoutout to the kid Hunter working the drive thru. I've been to this Wendy's location multiple times never had an issue, today was a totally different story. I waited in line to order for a long time, when I finally got to the intercom box they made me wait for another 5 minutes before taking my order. I went around 3:00 so it definitely wasn't a lunch rush, they were literally just taking two cars in the line at a time. When I finally received my order it tasted like the french fries had been fried again or had been left in the fryer for too long. Did not taste good at all. The chicken sandwich was probably the worst thing I've ever gotten in a drive-thru. It tasted like it had been left out all day and then fried 6 times, it was the worst! My entire lunch is inedible, I am on my way to a meeting and did not have time to waste and now I have to go to my meeting hungry and late. So not happy with this experience! read more

This must be a joke! I went to Wendy's at 8:30 and it took 30 min just to get up to the speaker and there were only 4 cars ahead of us. When we finally got to the speaker the guy in the headset was so rude and unprofessional. He raised his voice at me because they were out of Dr.pepper. Like that was my problem! After ordering it took so long I decided to leave because We had been there for 40 min and had moved about an inch! Do not go to this Wendy's at all costs. I go to this Wendy's twice a month, when my daughter has therapy. Today was my second--and worst--experience at this location. I waited in the drive-thru for 10 minutes to order, and another 10 minutes to get to the front and pay. I had to repeat my order 3 times, which didn't really bother me. They were busy and the woman taking my order kept apologizing, saying she was doing three things at once. I ordered a #4 (double bacon cheeseburger meal) without pickles and with a medium Dr Pepper, and a kids hamburger meal with an Honest Kids Fruit Punch juicebox. I paid $13.67 and left. When I arrived at my daughter's therapy building, I discovered that instead of the meal I paid for I received something else. A single bacon cheeseburger with pickles (see photo). Sorry to say , but we went in to this specific location , lights and door open ( at dinner time 5:55 pm) and here is what we found . Nothing, no people , no staff , not another living soul in the building. Half opened bags of food sitting on side of the fryer , unwrapped supplies and food all over the place , and really in bad shape. We called out to see if anyone was there , as we were worried something bad happened ( as this is something you don't see in Frisco). As we left we saw what may have been two employees sitting in parked cars in the lot , but not sure . Hope everything is okay at this location read more

My lemonade was so watered down that it was almost tasteless and the food wasn't even warm and we had to heat it up when we got home. I ordered through the app which was annoying because it wouldn't let me change the size of my drink on one of the meals. Then the drive in worker didn't want to give me a ranch sauce to go with my baconator fries. Guess what? Ordering a sauce on the app wasn't an option either. Never thought I'd be sitting in drive thru at a fast food joint for 30 minutes. I was stuck and had no way out. How on earth can it take this long. 15 min just to order and there were only 3 cars ahead of me. Then another 15 waiting to get to 2nd window to pay and pick up my food. Blake, the window server, was nice until I looked in the bag and didn't find the BBQ sauce I ordered with the nuggets. I let him know I didn't have the sauce and he just gave me the death stare and he didn't apologize. By the time I got home, the food was cold. I'm only 5 minutes away. Horrible. Let me start by saying I am a BIG fan of Wendy's in general. The quality of their food and the ingredients they use is definitely a step up from other similar fast food burger restaurants like McDonald's, Burger King, and Jack in the Box. They do a lot for charity, their restaurants are usually fairly clean, and their drive-thru service is typically the fastest out there (almost too fast). That's why it pains me to leave this review. But this Wendy's location is not only the absolute worst in the ENTIRE DFW area (and I have eaten at a lot of them), but it's an embarrassment to the Wendy's brand in general. Dave Thomas would be appalled if he were still with us and could see the quality of service and food this dump provides. It's like this location actually goes out of its way to be as awful as possible, almost like it's a joke to them how bad they are. You name it, it's awful here. Typical drive-thru service includes either "what'chu want?" greeting or sometimes just silence, followed by 25-40 minute wait times (with hardly any customers in line), excessively rude employees at the window, and almost always an incorrect order in your bag. The food is often cold or stale, as if it's been sitting out all day. It doesn't even taste like normal Wendy's food. And sometimes the restaurant just closes down at random times with no reason given. A recent visit of mine there on a Saturday evening at 6 pm was met with a voice saying "we ain't open". Labor shortage? Food shortage? Broken equipment? Employees just goofing off? No idea. If you're wanting Wendy's for dinner and can make the drive to literally ANY other Frisco, Plano, Little Elm, or McKinney location, I would highly suggest doing so. read more

For a being the new Wendy's on the block, you would think things would be perfect. Well, nope.. we have been here twice and each time the wait time to receive our order was less than slow and it is always incorrect. What part of no tomato, add pickles isn't clear? The only plus is the really cool soda machine - you can choice from over 100 varieties and it includes a ton of diet options. We sat at the drive through speaker from 11:02p-11:12p with 1 car ahead of us and as soon as that car left they turned off the drive through lights. Review not specific to this location, but I ate at this one today. Wendy's I've been to serves consistently cold food. I don't know if it's because they don't warm their burger buns, or if they just leave the food out, but it's never hot. They say they cook everything "fresh, never frozen," but it sure doesn't taste like it. Also, a la carte items are expensive for the quality once you add a drink. I got a jr burger, 6 nuggets and a large soda and it was almost 6.50. In the future, I'd rather have Braum's or even McDonald's, as the fold at least tastes warm. read more

Went here for a quick lunch with a friend today because he was craving the pretzel bun chicken sandwich. Unfortunately the pretzel buns were no longer available (insert deflated trumpet sound). We opted for the spicy chicken sandwich meal which is always a safe choice. I'm not a huge fan of fast food but if we go to Wendy's, I always end up with either a spicy chicken sandwich or the grilled chicken and apple/walnut salad. I like the pomegranate dressing that comes with the salad and the light amount of blue cheese crumbles on top. The fries are usually too salty for me but that's pretty normal anywhere we go. I can probably count on one hand how many frosties I've had and I'm always overwhelmed by even the small portion. Kiddy size is perfect if you have a sweet tooth but can't handle too much frosty goodness. read more

I believe that fast food employees are the litmus test for how society is doing. Well my friends, the apocalypse is upon us! This was the second time in the past month that the drive thru was only accepting cash....seems odd or they just don't want people coming in. Well I had cash so here we go! Got our order but I noticed something strange about the drive through attendant. First our order was wrong, big surprise from this Wendy's but when we got his attention, we notice him blinking his eyes nearly every second on the dot. It was like he couldn't focus on us but it was also an obvious sign of something illicit but looked more serious than the usual locally sources gummies. He couldn't even recall our order, mind you we were the only ones in line and at the window since no one has cash these days. After protracted negotiations in which 2 additional employees were called in, we finally received the last item in our order. Whew, thank goodness we had something called a receipt to get our remaining $2 item!! Although, half baked attendant, kept saying he already gave it to us. There was a silver lining for this experience. By the time we arrived home, both my 9 and 11 year olds have vowed to never try drugs and no television commercial can teach that. i've had this experience at other wendy's as well. ordering a cheeseburger and tell them "no mayo or ketchup, but add mustard". if they utter the words "mustard only" that is somehow code for nothing on the burger but meat, maybe cheese, and mustard. get your head out of your butts and fix the software so the mustard only button doesn't also mean to take everything else off the burger. read more

Once a beloved place for me and my friends has turned into a catastrophe the past two weeks. After football games, Wendy's has always been there with cheap, fast and good food, but everything changed last Friday night. My friends and I waited for 40 minutes and were some of the first people there(disrespectful service too). And this Friday night, they closed down before 10:00pm and hung up on us when we tried to be polite on the phone to confirm this time change. Thoroughly disappointed :( read more

Fast food is always hit or miss with little consistency but I have found this one to be pretty solid. They are efficient and friendly.
