So just be aware that hot might actually burn your esophagus, and adjust accordingly. The guys love the two slider meal, and the rest of us get the 10 tender bites with either mac and cheese or fries. I love that I can order ahead on the app. They also sell a pretty nice tailgate to go. I do get locked out of the app pretty frequently, but the rewards are nice. Service is friendly, and the atmosphere is great. They have the games playing on tv, too.

Patties Hamburgers & Roast Beef - Edmond, OK…read more In my ongoing hunt for solid comfort food around Edmond, I decided to give Patties Hamburgers & Roast Beef a try--and this one is definitely worth a visit. It's a relatively small spot on 2nd Street, but don't let the size fool you. This place delivers big where it matters: hot, made-to-order food and friendly service that makes you feel welcome right away. I walked in fully intending to go with a classic burger... but sometimes you've got to listen to the people. On their way out, a couple told us it was their first visit too and highly recommended the French Dip and the daily special. That was all I needed--I made the audible. What We Ordered: * French Dip with au jus and fries * Chili Cheeseburger with fries The Food: The French Dip was the star for me--tender beef, plenty of melted cheese, and that au jus brought it all together. Solid, no-frills comfort food done right. The chili cheeseburger was messy (in a good way) and packed with flavor. Fries were crispy and did their job. Everything came out hot, fresh, and exactly how you want it. The Vibe: Casual, laid-back, and exactly what you'd expect from a local comfort food joint. Nothing fancy--but that's not why you're here. Service: Very friendly across the board. You can tell they care about the experience, and that goes a long way. Final Thoughts: This is one of those places where you already know you'll be back before you leave. Next visit, I'm going all-in on the burger lineup--and after seeing that dessert case, I may need to save room. If you're in Edmond and craving comfort food, put this one on your list.

We also added some french fries. Altogether it was $20 after tax. I couldn't believe how cheap it was especially when you look at some of the other chicken places around the area whose prices have spiked over the past several months. The chicken was excellent and I really enjoyed the gravy. For the amount of food that you get with the price, this is a place. We will definitely be returning to. Also, the staff was super friendly, and the service was amazingly quick. I was in and out and around five minutes. Tried it out and I guarantee you will love the chicken and the cost.

My young child who does not like their food makes definitely would also rate their macaroni as one of the top. We did not go inside the facility, but the service through the drive-through was very welcoming and supportive with all of our questions.

We had not received our food yet, it was just my 4yo son and I and I was holding him the whole time while he was sleeping and I went up to fill our cups. While I was in line to get our drinks an EMPLOYEE grabbed my purse and order number from the table so another couple could sit there. I had no one else to get our drinks for us and I was holding my sleeping son. This was very messed up and almost brought me to tears. I had to go and speak up and ask that I get the table back as there was no where else for me to sit and I didn't think I could carry our food and my son back to where we parked in a nearby parking lot since their small one was full. Very embarrassing and sad experience as I ate my food with tears in my eyes. It's not easy always doing stuff on your own with no help and these employees made it much harder.

The main thing I liked about the sandwich was the amount of chicken on it. I'm big on protein especially when I'm splurging with fried foods. Of course that doesn't happen every time, but you can tell they are truly focused on customer service. Love the food here as well. The cinnamon rolls are the absolute best, especially considering you're getting it at a fried chicken place. We've had the whole and half fried chicken, the tenders, the wings, and trash can nachos, and they were all delicious. Recently got the parmesan fries and they are definitely my favorite side so far. They have also been really accommodating with my child's food allergies. We've been able to eat the kids nugget meal even with peanut, tree nut, and sesame allergies. Also, it's such a nice atmosphere. They even have a hand washing station out by the sodas.
