We asked for their recommended portion and food for us 3 and it was spot on. Everything was good, I especially loved the Mac n cheese and prime rib. The ribs are a bit dry but we did end up getting the smaller ribs/end of the rack and they were kind enough to put a little more for us for no extra charge. It's a bit salty but that's why you gotta eat it with the white bread they give you. They also have jalepenos and onions! They've got a few arcade games in there and a utensil/takeout container counter. The restrooms are only one stall and could use some airflow but you don't go to bbq expecting sparkly clean restrooms haha. The price is amazing. We've had little miss bbq which was good but this place is also awesome especially for the price. I think little miss bbq is a bit expensive for what it is. $45 after tip for all 3 people, you can't beat that! They also have a very cozy outdoor patio area.

We ordered the ribs, brisket, mac & cheese, elote, and jalapeño cheddar sausage, and honestly... EVERYTHING was a 100/10! Every single bite was packed with so much flavor, and you could really taste the care that went into the cooking. The ribs were incredibly juicy and tender, with that delicious smoky BBQ flavor and the perfect amount of seasoning. The brisket was another standout--so flavorful, tender, and juicy, with that beautiful smoky flavor you hope for when you're craving authentic BBQ. And the jalapeño cheddar sausage?! The combination of the savory sausage, little kick of jalapeño, and creamy cheddar was SO good! The mac & cheese was rich, creamy, and comforting--the perfect side to balance all that smoky goodness. The elote was also a favorite, loaded with flavor and the perfect little sweet-and-savory element alongside the BBQ. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Nothing was dry, bland, or lacking seasoning. You can tell they know their way around a smoker because every bite had that delicious depth of flavor I look for in great BBQ. 100/10 would absolutely order this again! If you're a BBQ lover, Eric's Family BBQ needs to be on your list. This meal seriously exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to come back and try even more!

We went on a Wednesday evening around 7pm and were seated immediately without a wait. Our server was friendly and approachable. We started with the Jalapeño Bomber Dip. Great portion size; the plate comes with 3 pieces. We both ended up taking one piece home. The inside of the restaurant was clean and inviting. I'd check them out again for sure.

Having said that, I will tell you that "Burger Den" (AKA Denny's) has some of the best burgers around. I know, I know. What am I saying... You're thinking, "Is he insane?" "Did he get paid off?" No. I'm telling you, Denny's has an amazing burger. It's thick, it's fresh, the beef flavor is just right, it's juicy, and their "diner sauce" - which is their secret burger sauce- can't be beat. It's really, really good. Oh, and their steak fries are some of the best in any diner. And their Super-Bird sandwich is a classic, wonderful concoction. Don't kid yourself. There is a reason Denny's grew to be the giant they are. That burger is top notch. Yeah, the rest of their food is just ok, but their burger, their fries, and their Super Bird sandwich can be put up against any burger anywhere and it will beat many of them. Try it, and you'll see I'm not crazy.

Thankfully, she quieted down before I had to complain to the manager. Our server (Stephanie) was excellent. Very attentive and knowledgeable. I probably should add, however, that for most of our meal we were the only customers. I had the Chicken Tortilla Soup and the Bourbon Apple Pork Tenderloin with baked potato and green beans. The soup was a little "different" but quite tasty. The pork was excellent - tender without being mushy - and the sauce was outstanding. Even the green beans and baked potato were perfect for me. My wife had the Bacon 'N Brie Mashed and the Fiesta Garden Cobb salad - both of which were excellent. Portion sizes are quite large - wanted to try the desert but didn't have the room. My only disappointment was the very pedestrian choice of draft beer (well - that and the very loud bartender.) This was our first experience at the Great American Grill, but we will be back. They also have a breakfast buffet for $9.95 which we will be trying soon.

Now I have the time since I won't be able to eat the rest of my food. I ordered over the phone and was told the food would take 15 minutes. I ordered 5 pieces of the Fish Fry and double fries and my girlfriend got the Hatch Chili Burger and upgraded to Sweet Potato fries for $2+ dollars. I live 2 minutes away down the street. I left 20 minutes after my order was made. When I get there I tell the cashier I have a to-go order and he has me pay. After I finish paying, he walks away without saying a word to me and starts sweeping the floor. I just wait and we make eye contact multiple times and he doesn't say anything. I assumed my food was ready because it had already been 25 minutes since I ordered. I realized maybe it's not ready, my mistake, I sit down in the table near the counter. He's watching me sit down and the literal exact moment I sit down he yells out that my order is ready. And when I get up to go get it, that's when he starts putting it in the bag. He doesn't go to the kitchen or anything so I don't know if my order was just sitting there this whole time and he was just waiting for me to sit down for some reason? I'm in no rush so I don't care its been 35 minutes at this point so I give him the benefit of the doubt still, and move on. Stacks the tartar sauce as he's trying to put everything in the bag and the stack falls over and a sauce falls on the floor. He looks at me and looks at the floor then he looks around the sauce drawer and puts another 3rd sauce which I assumed was another tartar sauce. It ended up being ranch. I wouldn't have cared if he just told me that he was out of tartar sauce but I guess trying to deceive me with ranch is a better option. At this point I would've still given a 4 STAR or even 5 STAR review if the food held up because it's a local business and I don't want some weird bald guy deter people from good food. After my 2 minute drive home we opened our containers that held extremely soggy and half cold sweet potato fries. I ordered double fries with my fish so my pile of fries were double soggy and partly cold too. I ate 2 pieces of Fish Fry and they were alright. I would've ordered them again and I was excited because I had a huge piece of fish fry I was going to have next. However I realized it was 2 pieces of fish fry stuck together causing the stuck sides to be soggy and have semi uncooked breading. The biggest piece I was excited for was the biggest disappointment. The only saving grace was the Hatch Chili Burger. The beef patties were soft and cooked well, unlike the last 3 pieces of fish fry. We spent $40 dollars on the entire thing. And we only ate the burger and 2 fish from the meals. Super convenient location for food that I will be completely avoiding in the future. TLDR: Bad service if bald guy is there. Was told 15 minutes but food took around 30-35 minutes. Let's you guess if your food is ready or not after he has you pay. Waits for you to sit down to tell you it's ready when it was possibly just sitting infront of him. Drops tartar sauce and tries to sneak ranch instead of just telling me that he can't/doesn't wanna replace it. Get home, half of order is soggy&cold. ALL fries including upcharged fries were soggy. Only Hatch Chili Burger was good. SPENT $40 and it was 2 meals that were less than mediocre overall. Normally I can ignore most bad service/attitudes but this dude sucked and doesn't like to communicate with customers. Below are photos of what I thought was a "big piece" of fish fry flipped around and then after I separate the two pieces.
