It was rich, creamy, and the perfect way to finish off the meal. Great food, great service, and a clean restaurant make it an easy place to recommend. The person taking the order asks "what size?" I repeated my order, the dbl cheeseburger Carolina style. She asks, "what toppings?" I say, Chili, slaw, mustard and onions. She says back something but I couldn't understand what she was saying but I heard her say "pineapple". So I repeated the toppings again. She wraps uo the order and I get my food and head home. When I open the cheeseburger, it's just a soggy mess and I see pineapple chunks. I don't understand how pineapple got into the equation but pineapple is what she was determined to give me. I drive back to the restaurant and at the window, the same girl (tattoos all over with pimple patches on her face) who gave me the order greeted me. I said, my order was prepared incorrectly with pineapple on the burger but that's not what I ordered. She says, "You said pineapple". I said, "No, I ordered "Carolina Style and repeated the toppings three times." She grabs the bag and says "you don't need to have an attitude". I said, "I don't have an attitude, I would just like it remade". She says, "that's not a problem, we were gonna remake it for you but you dont have to have an attitude!" The window closes and as I sat there waiting, I call the restaurant and ask to speak to the manager. The woman they put on the phone asks how can she help. I tell her I'm in the drive thru returning an order where pineapple was put on the burger and she interrupts me stating she was the one who took my order and that I had said pineapple and that she is remaking the order herself and it will be a few minutes. I tried to let her know about the conversation with the girl at the window and how she told me I have an attitude. The manager repeats herself again stating the order is being remade and it will be out soon. I thanked her and just waited on the food. A different girl hands me the bag. I check it and they still didn't get it right, leaving off the mustard but at this point I'm not going to say anything in fear of how I'd be treated. So I went home and the more I thought about it, thought these unprofessional types probably spit in my food so I just threw the burger away. The onion rings were dripping in grease and the batter was falling off and they were just soggy fried onions soaked in grease. I will never spend another penny here and after reading other reviews, it sounds like a common issue. My advice: Maybe you need to get a new intercom/speaker/microphone system so people can hear orders correctly and spend some time training your staff on professionalism, customer service and quality.

However, the experience changed when I received my food. I ordered a Cobb salad with no bacon. Both the receipt and the bag clearly said "no bacon," but when I got my salad, it still had bacon in it. I don't eat bacon, so I wasn't able to eat the meal at all. The person handing out the food also came across a bit rude, which didn't help the situation. Overall, the service at the ordering counter was great, but the mistake with my order and the interaction at pickup made this visit disappointing.

For right at $20, I got a huge burger and enough fries to satiate 2-3 people. I cannot fathom what the larger burger sizes look like, much less who could possibly be ordering them. The fries were everything I could have asked for -- crispy, salty, and with a very generous amount of both cheddar sauce and bacon (the perfect amount to have sauce on every bite but not be soggy). The burger was good, and definitely satisfied that primal craving for salt and fat that we all carry with us from hunter-gatherer days gone by. However, I wouldn't say it was particularly spicy, nor did its flavor deviate significantly from any generic burger I could order. They've got chicken or chicken (taken from an old John pinetta comedy skit). I ordered a 3 piece dinner. The fries were well salted but limp. The chicken was absolutely tasteless. No salt, no pepper, no seasoning of any sort. The garlic toast was decent, at least. Zaxbys adds coleslaw with their dinners so that's a plus over Raising Cane's. I probably won't be back.

Their menu is pretty on par with other chicken spots, offering wings, tended, sandwichs. Pricing is on, maybe a little high for chicken. We placed our orders to go, I ordered a chicken tender basket with an Oreo milkshake, my wife got a chicken sandwich meal. After ordering we took a seat to wait, and wait...and wait. After about 15 minutes, my milk shake was ready, another 10 minutes, my food finally came out...and then we had to wait another 10+ minutes for my wife's food to be ready...far from fast food, 2 basic orders took over 30 minutes to prepare....pretty shameful. It was very clear they seem to put a priority on delivery and online orders over in store ordering. And they also seemingly only have one person in the kitchen that can only prepare one meal at a time. It's clear they are short staffed, but there are no signs up or perceived attempts at hiring. When we finally got home, the food was good, and the portions were adequate, but the slow food prep and lack of customer service is a huge deterrent for me to return any time soon.
