Great place to go when it's late and you're hungry. IMO the best burger on the planet is a well-made Whataburger With Bacon And Cheese. Sometimes I take their survey to get a "free" Whataburger, but by the time you order the required fries and drink and add bacon and cheese, you've saved only about $2. Oh well. I would never suggest you cheat on whata, we had a quick lunch on the go after appointment. We had a long drive and was starving, now grant it we had to wait a bit I think it was the kids chicken bites because the were super hot. Not a place to go if you're short on time -- but that's only because they're serving all of Angleton, TX (population 20,949 and growing). This spot stays crazy busy with drive-thru orders, counter lines, online pickups, deliveries, and yes... the occasional "Karen." And then there's me, complaining about "where the heck are my onions?" Through it all, the employees stay calm and professional. They handle a daily storm of customers with patience, speed, and good humor. If I worked here, I'd be fired within 15 minutes of my first shift -- that's how impressed I am with how they manage it all. Fantastic job to this team read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I ordered and when I got my food it was wrong. The patties were also small. Fries were a little black. And with my burger they had to remake it 3 times, and still got it wrong. Not only that, they forgot half my families food. And also got theirs wrong. Also there was no napkins for me to grab. And the customer service was brutal. Took a long time to get to me and also a Karen manager. Not to mention there was flys trying to eat my food. Ordered using the app and pickup Curbside. By the time I hit the 15 minute waiting mark, I've talked to three employees who said order will be right out. Then an employee comes out with drinks saying they're cooking the order; they're waiting on something. At 16 and a half minutes, my order is brought out. This used to be my favorite restaurant ever, but now no! I we went in line orders our #13 and kids meal, then we proceeded to wait for 30 minutes as per usual because they don't know how to be fast. Then I get my order and we start to drive away because they already made us late for our soccer game. Then I look in the bag and I don't see my number 13 or kids meal. Instead we get a disgusting BLUE CHEESE burger and spicy jalapeño burger with mustard. Not to mention the burger was huge, and wasn't wrapped properly so it spilled all over the whole car and ruined my new shoes. I have been going to this whataburger for over 30 years. Yes I realize covid and extended bs unemployment benifits may be hindering service but.... I was in line on the drive thru from 9:40 (order time) until 10:45. Anyone who knows this location. Knows you are Blocked In - otherwise I would have left. Taking covid Into account ... so be it - BUT - my burger was soggy and the wait was ridiculous. If you can't find people to work - then shut it down until you can. Totally ridiculous! Seriously an hour blocked in line to get a crappy soggy burger? I love Whataburger . The Angleton store is the worst Whataburger in Texas. Terrible service. Slow- Tonight I waited an hour for 2 meals I had ordered in the app. When finally served, it was stone cold and without drinks. After complaint, manager remade burgers and gave the drinks i had originally purchased. Over a one hour wait with no heartfelt apology. This is THE most ridiculous store. Got in the drive thru line at 9:23pm and did not get out of the line until 10:27pm on a Wednesday. I got ONE meal. #4 (jalepeno burger) with large fry and large drink. Asked for extra crispy fries they were not crispy at all they were also cold. My burger was cold to the touch. Lower temperature than my body temp. The bun was cold, took a bite and the patty was COLD. They did not put the spicy ketchup in the bag like i asked. & The customer service also not so great. The lady at the drive thru window took my payment, gave me the change and then proceeded to take another order with my bag of food in her hand. So she's typing on the computer with one hand and holding my food in the other and I'm just sitting there. Finally hands over the food and she does the SAME THING with my drink. We love Whataburger BUT this location and its customer service is terrible. Corporate really needs to be aware. We've given them so many chances to make up for the terrible service we've always received but they always disappoint. What has made me decide to write this negative review is our experience tonight. I did an online order and waited 30 mins to get it. After being told they didn't have what we ordered online...odd. Our order was wrong but I did not feel like sending it back and waiting another 30 mins for them to fix it. The manager sent a very new and uninformed employee out to ask "what I wanted" instead of what I ordered, the manager should have been the one to come have that conversation. I've been here twice over the past month and will not be going back. The first time my order was completely wrong. I had already gotten all the way home before realizing, so I went ahead and ate what they gave me. It was disgusting! Soggy bun, mushy fries, completely gross! Every time we go through the drive thru, it's a solid 15-20min wait. I get to the front & I'm STILL waiting on my food.

It seems that every time I go to Whataburger as a customer now I notice that well my gravy cups are hardly even half filled, cold and stale fries as well as the drive thru taking forever. If there's a big order why can't they wait in the front? I mean amazing food for sure, but it's also just not welcoming to go inside anymore.
