I had a pretty bad disagreement with this location not long ago, and it reminded me just how far the standards have slipped. About a year ago, things looked like they might turn around. A new management team seemed to improve service for a short while. But something changed again, and now it feels like the restaurant has fallen back below standards. To be fair, the employees here work hard and deal with a lot. The bigger issue seems to come from management and ownership, which affects everything else. Bottom line: Church's is still a staple in Angleton, but it's no longer the Church's I grew up with.
