This was not the experience we were expecting when we ordered delivery the other night from them…read more We got a Bowl of Creamy Potato Cheese Soup, slice of Key Lime Pie and a slice of Lemon Cream Cheese pie; $27 dollars not including tip. The Soup was just ok. Lacked flavor, potatoes were non existent and it arrived lukewarm "but that's the delivery drivers fault". For $11.49 we expected better. Key Lime Pie: it was "ok" but the whipped cream tasted warm and the pie was borderline warm as well. Must've been put next to the hot soup. Which in my mind "why?" It's cold pie. Should I not have eaten it, yeah. Did I eat it anyway? Well it was an $8 slice of pie! So yes, I'm going to eat it! It was also small for the price as well. You get a bigger slice of cheesecake at their competitor for around the same price. Lemon Cream Cheese Pie: doesn't come with whip cream "unless you pay for it". That slice of pie was also $8. How does the key lime come with whip but you pay extra for this one!? The picture shows the whip on it which looks good, but doesn't give you an option to pay for it either. The flavor was just ok. Delivery was atrocious! The guy took forever to get there, then took forever to get to our place. It was overall a bad experience all the way around. Thankful I didn't pay the $13 for an order of mozzarella sticks. Overall: what happened to this spot? I know these restaurants are becoming non existent in our small towns and we wanna come try them out. But when you're charging this much and not getting the quality you deserve, well it makes me not wanna come back. Which sucks cause I love a good slice of pie. But not a small slice for $8 that I gotta pay extra for whip lol.

Straw Hat Pizza has been around for years, and after this visit, I can definitely see why. They…read moreserve quality pizza at prices that are hard to beat. The menu has plenty of options to choose from, and I love that they offer both regular and cheesy breadsticks that are practically the size of a pizza. It's a fun option for sharing. We started with a large one-topping pepperoni pizza, and for just $10, it was an incredible value. It was loaded with pepperoni, wasn't greasy, and had great flavor. While ordering, we found out they were running a special to upgrade to an extra-large pizza for 50% off, so we couldn't pass that up. We also tried the Garlicky Chicken Pizza, which was delicious. It had a rich garlic flavor without being overpowering, and all of the toppings tasted fresh. The breadsticks were good as well. They were a little thinner than I expected and not as fluffy as some others I've had, but they were still flavorful. Their house ranch was another standout, and I appreciated that they served the Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper flakes in individual containers. Overall, Straw Hat Pizza delivers great flavor, generous portions, and excellent value for the price. It's an easy recommendation if you're looking for a good pizza without spending a fortune.

I understand people have bad days but every single time I visit this establishment the girls either have a bad attitude or are very dismissive. Seeing so many other reviews mention the front staff makes it clear I'm not the only one experiencing this. It sucks when businesses have good products but the employees who are supposed to be the face of the business ruin it. I've tried giving the benefit of the doubt, but after multiple visits, it's clear this is a pattern. It's frustrating because the products are genuinely great, but the awful customer service ruins the experience. Management really needs to step in, retrain, or address the front staff so the customer experience matches the products they are delivering.
