Name called out and freshly poured coffee picked up at the coffee bar, food announced by buzzer. My americano was smooth and full bodied thoughtfully served in ceramic. My biscuit sandwich was pretty life changing! The bisuit itself was flaky moist and oh so tender. Homemade sausage was seasoned beautifully. Elevating the sandwich was a baked egg, firm but custardy interior and the side of sriracha syrup. Less than a mile off of 91 on our way to Trillium Canton for our son's 30th birthday celebration! Worthy of a detour.

Generally kind of dirty feeling. Bathroom is not super clean, and the hand soap dispenser still doesn't work as in someone else's previous post. Not sure how ppl can rate the pizza highly when you have such stellar examples of what great pizza actually tastes like not too far away in New Haven. It's strip mall pizza. Don't go in expecting high quality food. But, yeah, the guy at the counter was super nice, and that counts for something in my book.

I popped in because the parking lot was mostly empty. It wasn't particularly busy in the cafe either. There were two small groups ahead of me in line. I order my food and black iced coffee to go. I received my food. It even had to be heated. And I had to wait 10 minutes for them to give me my black iced coffee. Even though there are only two or three people waiting in the drink area. And that was after I said something. So who knows how long it would have taken. This isn't because of lack of effort. The baristas were doing things. They're making lots of drinks. But it's not clear for whom. They finish the drinks and they don't call people's names. Maybe they're for to go orders? I understand that restaurants need to make choices about how they run things. All I can say is, that it's not a good experience to get all of your food and you have to wait for a black iced coffee (a drink that takes very minimal effort) for 10 minutes. Even though you're one of only a few people in the drink area. I'm not going to change my review score. But these experiences definitely affect how often I visit.

We tried the pepperoni pizza this time, and although pepperoni is salty, it was a little bit overboard. We also tried another salad and again it was completely drenched in dressing. Half of our order was completed when we sat down. I was able to finish my pizza before the salad came out. I wish everything was a little bit more organized, and came out together.

And if you want to try a sandwich that explodes with flavors you've gotta follow me on this. I ordered the Italian sub, Mike's Way, with spices and wet Now here's where it gets really interesting and the explosion happens On top of the sandwich construction, I asked for jalapeño peppers and banana peppers, finished off with pickles And the plain piece of bread that's gonna be the top piece, I added mayonnaise and the spicy relish Once these flavors mesh together, this is possibly the best combo there is at any grinder shop in the world in my humble opinion The explosion of flavors and crunch is simply amazing. Done this way it is possibly the greatest tasting grinder ever constructed. The heat, the banana peppers, the hot relish, oil/vinegar wetness, Italian spices freshness to the bread, flavor in the meats and cheese, with a pickle on top, oh my! Thank you jersey Mike's Rocky Hill, you made this guest feel like a king. The sandwich was constructed with love and attention, adding that smile and Good nature twist from the employee.
