This a great store owned by some super people !…read more Though I live in the Oakville / Burlington area, I conduct some business in the Etobicoke area and as a result came upon their store while buying Xmas gifts one year for family who were interested in backyard bird feeding. The owners, Jim & Lynda, couldn't have been more knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful in recommending Xmas gift suggestions. That was a couple of years ago, and after picking up a feeder or 2 for myself since then, I always go back to Jim & Lynda for seed etc. even though there is a WBU store in Burlington much closer to my home. Even when some backyard critters damaged a few of my feeders, Jim & Lynda not only scrounged up some replacement parts ' free of charge ' and they repaired them for me, they had a few great ideas to fend off the critters going forward. If you're into backyard bird feeding or just thinking about getting into this hobby.....Jim & Lynda's WBU shop is highly recommended !

on my adventure to find more local fish stores, i recently visited planted aquaria in oakville and…read morewas pleasantly surprised by how much this smaller shop has to offer. despite its compact size, they carry an impressive range of high-quality products, including chihiros stuff, which i rarely see in other stores. it's clear that they've curated their inventory with care. the store is split into two levels: upstairs is where you'll find equipment and a selection of plants, while downstairs houses their main collection of plants and fish. the variety of aquatic plants really stood out to me--not only is the selection extensive, but the pricing is very reasonable too. while their fish selection isn't the largest, i still managed to find exactly what i was looking for. one thing to note is that there's no parking lot for the store--only paid street parking. so, if you're coming by car, be prepared to pay for parking. if you're into aquascaping or simply need good quality aquarium supplies, this shop is definitely worth checking out!

They helped me find the right food for my dog who was going through a nasty bout of digestive problems, and now he's back to great shape. He gets excited when we pull into the parking lot since he loves visiting the store (and it doesn't hurt that he always gets a new toy or treat after each visit). I even used their new self-bathing system and it worked great - no mess in my house to clean up afterwards. I know from talking to people in the dog parks that everyone has a different opinion about dog training, what food to feed, what breeder to use, etc. The poster before obviously has strong opinions about hedgehogs, but that doesn't mean they're necessarily shared by everyone. The employee i spoke with was very nice but she had no idea how to help me, much like the other stores i had visited looking for help. In the end we found someone with a similar problem, and they mentioned their solution. I will always be greateful, Kita is still alive and well. The other stores i visited were not willing to go the extra mile to help me. Olivers took more of an interest in me than the store that i originally bought my snake from.
