As many know, summers are starting to get hot in the Pacific North West. I spent a significant amount of time this winter trying to search for the right contractor who could do an A/C install on my home. As many know, getting this phase on any project complete can sometimes be the hardest part. After looking through reviews for many companies online, I reached out to WestWorld Air. I submitted a request through yelp and got a response from Bo within 30 minutes and we had a free consultation visit scheduled within a few days after. Of all the consultations I got for this job, Bo was by far the most thorough. Our furnace is in our attic and he was the only contractor to go up there to review the job specs so he could get the most accurate quote for the job. When we got the quote back, it was by far the most reasonable and best priced of all the quote we got for this job so it was a no brainer on who we would choose. Bo had the electricians come the day before the install and stopped by to make sure all was well as well as to deliver the unit and all materials so he was ready for the install the next day. His communication was 100% the best. At every point of the job, he would communicate consistently and promptly on all matters and I'm extremely fortunate for that. On the day of the install, Bo was right on time and got right to work. This install was a new install so there was a significant amount of extra work compared to a replacement job, but Bo left no stone unturned and no detail missed. His craftsmanship and work speaks for itself and I'm extremely satisfied with WestWorld Air's professionalism, attention to detail, and quality they gave us in this job. We recently moved to Kitsap County right before summer of 2020. In a 2-story house, the upstairs definitely gets some heat. We were able to tolerate it during our first summer here. Last summer, as many of you may know, was record-breaking heat across the board. We actually had to shelter at my in-laws' house since they had a heat pump to give them A/C. It was then that we decided that we need to install a heat pump so we can also have A/C. Out of the multiple companies we reviewed, we decided to go with WestWorld Air. Their product is just as good as other brands and it is more affordable. We decided to get a new furnace as well. When we reached out to Bo, he was able to quickly come give a quick consultation at the house. He was very thorough and provided a lot of details that proved his knowledge. Once we signed on with Bo, the install was a good experience. The electrician inspectors and city inspectors came soon after and marked everything with flying colors. For the record, we use Google Nest, and it was super easy to run the different tests once the re-wiring was done. To say that I am impressed with WestWorld Air's quality, charisma, and professionalism would be an understatement. I had an old obsolete fireplace that I wanted to replace. I had quotes from 2 other places. They sold the insert and I would have to hire a technician to install. I called WestWorld and Bo came out, wearing a mask, and looked the job over. He gave me a quote that was not only competitive but also included purchase of the unit and the installation. He and we talked I told him I wanted to convert appliances to natural gas and he offered to run the lines so they would be covered in the initial inspection by the city. This did not affect the initial quote. I was very happy with his work ethic and communication. He solved a lot of present and future problems for me. Now I can easily just phase in whatever appliance, dryer and range, whenever I can and it's good to go. He also added an additional line in case I wanted to hook up my bbq! I have a Nest thermostat and a furnace in the attic in my condo. Suddenly, the Nest gave a E74 error message, which meant that it was not getting power from the furnace. The furnace was off, too. I reached out to multiple businesses on Yelp by using its request feature. They were the first to respond in a matter of minutes and accommodated my schedule and came out the next day. I was worried that there was some water leak or other major issue. Bo came out. He checked both the thermostat and furnace. He explained the issues (poorly done wiring by previous people who installed the thermostat and serviced/checked the furnace). He promptly rewired everything and fixed it. Bo came out to our house after a frantic phone call to get someone in to inspect our furnace after it starting making a high pitch noise while in use. Turns out - it was not our furnace and it was the gas line that PSE installed recently. Bo was so friendly and super helpful and made sure that we were educated on the importance of maintaining our unit. I'd been calling around and he had by far the best prices in my area. My parents had been using a well known large HVAC company that services Gig Harbor, but is based elsewhere, for years. You've probably seen their commercials many times. When they wanted to almost double their annual maintenance fees and provide less service, it was time to help my parents find a new HVAC contractor. I noticed that WestWorld Air had five stars and was located right in Gig Harbor so I called. I immediately understood the five star rating. Bo was responsive, professional and immediately cared about doing the right thing for my parents. He came to their home and provided excellent annual maintenance on the main floor furnace. He was also able to fix a non-functioning furnace upstairs that the prior company told us could not be fixed and needed to be replaced at a cost of $12K plus. Fortunately, we had chosen not to waste our parents' money by replacing the furnace with the prior company as they had advised. Bo will now be handling the annual maintenance needs of BOTH furnaces from here on out. We purchased a new house in Gig Harbor in early 2018 that included a Goodman furnace. Once we decided to add AC, we wanted to pair the furnace with a Goodman AC unit. Our search on Yelp found WestWorld Air, a company that installed Goodman equipment. We made contact with Bo, the owner of the company, and from then on everything moved quickly. Bo was out to our house in a few days to give us an estimate. He came on time and checked everthing that should be checked prior to installing a new AC system. He was pleasant to work with and knowledgeable, no sales pressure or up sell. He emailed us an estimate that was professional and showed all the line items that made up the estimate and provided the provision to accept the proposal and make payments. I mention this because a couple of large HVAC companies who gave us a quote were still writing their proposals out by hand with a carbon copy.
