I can not say enough about Karolina and the Redwood Arms but I'll try. 1. Room - Super spacious, having travelled to major cities around the world for 20 years I've gotten used to the size of hotel rooms. These are about twice as large as a typical chain hotel. For less than you'd typically pay you get twice the room. It was updated, had a microwave, fridge, and coffeemaker. We had 2 rooms and they were cleaner then a typical chain hotel. The beds and pillows were super comfy, no lumps and bumps. 2. Service/Karolina - This is where Redwood Arms sets itself apart. Due to our circumstances we were coming and going at all hours, typically sleeping when the room would typically be serviced. Karolina was incredibly accommodating and gracious. If our vehicle was there (and we forgot the Do Not Disturb sign) she left us alone and would wait to service the room until we left. I'll just say that dealing with the owner as opposed to a desk clerk beholden to corporate polices and procedures was priceless in a difficult time. Thank you, Karolina, for your support in an incredibly difficult time. You have no idea how much you helped us. * If you stay here be sure to go next door to The Blended Table restaurant. Holy crap, the carne was to die for and get some coffee from Rubicon Roasting to take home.

Our room was on the top floor and was sooo cute and clean! The bed was super comfy and we loved that there was a ceiling fan. The room has AC and was very cool in the evening. The location is walking distance to anything in town. The breakfast the following morning was PERFECTION. We started with a local fruit salad and finished with homemade blueberry lemon meringue pancakes with bacon. The pancakes were so fluffy! We can't say enough good things about this place. Yet, it combines art, farm-to-table restaurants, organic farms, vineyards, a local brewery and traditional farming.  I started looking for accommodations around Paonia where I could rest and relax and be surrounded by nature. I found it in this beautiful modern farm stay bed and breakfast that came highly recommended. Not only is every part of the farm well cared for, doing yoga in the forested area is plain invigorating. Walking around the property I was surrounded by wonderful views, beautiful flower and food gardens,  and felt exactly how I wanted to feel, reconnected with nature in a very well cared for and modern bed and breakfast farm stay.    The proprietress was fabulous. From the moment I called, she was attentive and asked if I had special dietary needs, worked with me on my arrival time, and provided great hiking information for the local mountains. The space is impeccable, rooms are clean and modern. The gluten free breakfast was absolutely delicious and was served on the patio overlooking the gardens.  The space and the attentiveness allowed me to unplug from the daily grind, reconnect wth nature, and recharge. I returned home looking forward to the next time I will visit. I highly recommend Agape Farm and Retreat.
