Stains on carpet, it was very dirty.
M M.

This is a horrible hotel. Dirty, dirty, dirty! I thought with the pandemic it would have been cleaner, no chance. There are much better places to stay if you're willing to drive a little further. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Comfy leather chair.

The beds were nice. Saying anything else nice about the experience is difficult. Parking was bizzare. The staff wanted to talk to their computer more than us. The lobby breakfast was subpar and the coffee was broken. When checking out after hearing I had my receipt from under the door they stopped looking at and talking to me.

Arrowhead Mountain Lodge is pretty far off the beaten track, but if you ever find yourself here,…read moreit's pretty neat. We came up to go hunting. The 4 hour drive from Colorado Springs was rough, but the cabin that we were staying in was fabulous. We stopped at Arrowhead Mountain Lodge for drinks one day at their bar. The service was good and they have quite a selection. It's an interesting experience ordering drinks at a bar in the middle of nowhere. You can't buy a drink anywhere else for miles around. We ordered bloody Mary's after our friend did and they were spicy and a little hard to drink. But maybe it was because I had been accustomed to making my own shitty drinks for quite sometime that I wasn't used to drinking good stuff. There were a few other families eating dinner in the restaurant, adjacent to the bar. It felt very homey. They also play games and have themed nights for the guests and people living in the area. This area of Colorado is beautiful during the fall and winter. If you're ever itching to seclude yourself in the Colorado wilderness, I'd check this place out.

It is frozen out of a box and should never be served anywhere. This should not eve be on the menu it was the worst meal I have had in my life. So needless to say I didn't spend anymore money in the restaurant. Eat in Ridgway or Gunnison.

Horizon Drive is the main access to the Grand Junction airport north of I-70 and an almost direct access south to downtown. Rates are always reasonable. This time, I reserved thru Expedia and got my room with a queen bed for $88 each for 2 nights and my 3rd night for $63 + the various taxes. They accept pets, but charge a stiff deposit I have never needed to change rooms. All inside doors to the rooms. The breakfast space is simple, but several local restaurants are nearby.

We were given room 101 which was right on the corner and so there were three doors that constantly slammed right by our room door as people came in and out. The vending and ice machine were right outside our door too so things were loud. I'd ask for a different room next time. There is no carpet on the first floor and our large dog is afraid of hard flooring so we had to keep his shoes on the whole time so he could get around the room and in and out to go to the bathroom. The room looked to be an accessible room. It was spacious. Though if someone uses a wheelchair, I could see some obstacles - The opening between the toilet and the sink is slim so it would be difficult to fit a chair between them. The toilet paper is hard to reach from the toilet for anyone. It's a tub so you'd need a shower chair. There is a railing in the shower. We had a king sized bed that was really very comfortable. There was a fridge and microwave and coffee pot. Some things in the room looked updated. Newish paint and floors. We liked the decor on the room walls. (See photos). The room was clean. Great water pressure in the shower. Water leaked out past the shower curtains onto the floor way too easily. The floor was soaked. The bathroom drain made weird noises on and off. Not sure if it was the shower, the sink or the pipes. The air condition worked well and helped to drown out the door slamming sound a bit. Which happened all morning long. We didn't check out the Continental breakfast because there is rarely anything we can eat at hotels. We eat healthy, plant based diets. You'd think it would be easy enough to offer sourdough bread, fresh cut fruit, dairy free oatmeal, potatoes without butter. I'd stay again if we passed through. Love that they are dog friendly.
