Room needs a major overhaul. Furniture had hair and dust all over cushion. Window screens pulled away and bent on all the windows, like they had been broken into. The window locks were not locked when we entered room. Scary being on ground floor. Chair vinyl peeling and got all over everything. Dirty curtains barely hanging on curtain rods. Room had a very sour smell. Tv did not work, clerk came to Room and turned it on with a different remote and told us it only was for volume and on and off. That turned out to be incorrect. After 45mins, we got one set of channels to work. Bad reception for Direct TV. The bath room had mold in corners and some black wide scrapes in shower. Safe did not work. What appeared to be homeless people yelling and talking outside and in the hall. Water was very hot, sheets and bedding were clean. Breakfast area was clean and food acceptable. read more

2 adults, 3 nights = Filthy floors that hadn't been cleaned; socks covered in animal hair and dirt from a single walk to the bed from the door. Terrible smell in the room. One (1) coffee packet for two (2) people for a three (3) night stay; dirty coffee maker. One (1) roll of toilet paper, no Kleenex tissues. Door key voided daily, locking us out of our room; having to go to front desk to have it reactivated only to find no one there; terrible thing when you need to go to the bathroom. Curtains rotting off the curtain rod. Cold breakfast: fake eggs and greasy sausage; no pastries, only stale bread with dust and cobwebs covering the AC unit sitting next to food. Facility utterly in need of repair and updates. Parking lot trashed and filled with homeless crack-heads on bicycles looking to loot vehicles and "break-in" to motel...outside door seemed to have been jimmied with a crowbar. Bathroom not clean with a toilet seat that appeared to be out of the 1940's. One tiny bar of soap to be shared between the sink and the shower which are in separate areas. Had to go to front desk to ask for anything that should have already been in the room. Supposedly, the "best" motel in Delta, CO which is shocking considering such a beautiful town. They receive no stars, worse hotel and customer serve ever. This hotel steals your money! Charges your credit card for a no show. When you were at the hotel and paid for your room. Corporate will not help and says there is nothing they can do, since somehow my card got connected to other rooms that did not show up. If you stay, there check your receipts and make sure you are not charged for other people not showing up. read more

This place is horrible Torn curtains, dirty hallways. They allow locals into the hotel who party all night. No security after ten. The doors are not locked. Air conditioning is at best iffy. The curtains are old and stained. The guy from India who owns the place has a care less attitude. Creepy people stay there. Do not stay there it's gross. read more

The room stunk. It was dirty and about 8:00 someone started cooking and the smell got worse. It was disgusting. The pillows smelled like smoke and staleness. Then, about 9:00, people were stomping, yelling and slamming doors. I can't stress how bad this place was and I am astounded that Choice actually lets this manager keep the brand. Had to book fast because my flight out was cancelled and my previous hotel was booked. I tried to book this hotel online and after finding a room for $125 a night it said my order could not be completed. After driving from Montrose to this hotel in Delta the man at the desk said that room was no longer available but he another one for $160 a night. I got the room for the three nights I needed and went upstairs. There was no number on or near the door. The door did not close all the way and moved around in the frame. The room had a very strange odor and I immediately had problems breathing in the room. I went straight downstairs and the man refused to give me my money back and leave. He said he would be charging me for at least one night. I told him the room was not clean and I was having problems breathing. He refused and just offered to give me another room. It wasn't as bad but I was still having problems breathing. I figured I would try reaching out to corporate about the issues. I called two different times to their customer support line. The first line disconnected after talking to someone for over an hour. The second guy said he would call me back but I still have not heard back. During this process, SAME DAY, my credit card was charged a $200 dollar charge AND a $480 charge. I went back up to the office and made the person at the desk check me out. Since she couldn't do it digitally because I hadn't stayed there yet I made her write me out a detailed receipt to show I left the horrible hotel the same exact day I checked in. I have reached out to the website and their phone lines and I have gotten zero responses back. I will now have to cancel my credit card just to have these charges reversed. Really wish this app would let u add a HALF STAR. Hotel was better than a 3. But not quite a 4. Mainly d/t the fact that the actual owners were 3 brothers that didn't maintain the same opinions and promises that the others did. The front desk girls, during the day and evening, were very helpful and all went out of their way to assist the issues that caused my husband and I to end up staying there 18 days. The owners on the other hand, kept changing the rate of our room, (up, of course), but would bring it down some when we noticed and called them out on it. I hope I can get the girls names correct, and unfortunately didn't get the name of the original girl that checked us in, and gave us a good price (after learning the hard way, instead of using ANY of the Travel Apps price, just tell the front desk what ur app says, they will often meet or even give a LOWER PRICE, for a same room or even an upgrade)! Leigh Ann, Taylor and I believe Mary, were all helpful assisting us w a multitude of odd issues that were causing us to need to stay at this location for such a lengthy time. Rooms and bathrooms were clean enough. But im the one that can rarely handle putting my face on most hotels blankets and bedspreads. I always have my own extra large blanket I lay down on the bed, so I know I'm not touching the last guest's..........??? There were a few stains on the bedspread, but was assured by the front desk girls they were only bleach spots, but still...........Also obviously a smoking hotel when that was allowed. There were several cigarette burns on the carpet, blankets, etc. All in all, still felt like a pretty clean room in general. The bathroom did not give me the "ick factor" also, which is pretty rare and a nice change since we were there so long. Breakfast was a step up from average becase they offered freshly(?) scrambled eggs and some link sausages. Meat and eggs are always a nice upgrade from the expected flip over waffles and little pastries that seem to be at EVERY hotel that doesn't have an on site restaurant. Ohh..... Odd thing, small thing but nice, the Orange Juice wasn't powdered Tang tasting and WAS Very GOOD! Not a bad place for a small, out of the way town in CO. And the Broncos won both of their play off games while we were there. Watching them win while stuck in CO made us feel like we were rooting for our home, local team. Now we have someone to root for the Superbowl, and we don't really follow football. This year though, we feel like we're invested in a team! Haha!!!!! read more

While checking in, I asked the nite clerk about parking in back. He told me there was a car broken into the previous night and it would be best to park up front. We checked in then went to our room on the 1st floor. A small vent window below the AC unit was unlocked and could have been opened from outside, no screen, flimsy lock. Not a secure room at all. Back entry key pad was gone, lock was gone, door not secure, anyone could just walk in. We had 4 days reserved, left after 3. At checkout, they said computers were down and they would get us checked out later. When the Credit Card bill came, we were charged for "4" days. Had to call and get manager to refund the 4th day back onto my card. (Called CC company and it did get refunded) This motel is below standards we've observed for typical comfort inns/quality inns. They've neglected upkeep and maintenance. I wouldn't recommend, but price was lower too. read more

On a longer hiking trip we spent one night here and really liked our room which was a large business suite. The room was very clean and up to date while the bathroom seemed stuck in 1987 but everything worked well, so no complaints there. The door of the room looked as though it had been broken into at some point which was a bit alarming but no harm done. Fortunately the hotel and its surroundings seemed clean and peaceful, a typical suburban environment, and the front desk was just feet from the adjoining stairwell so we did feel safe here. King bed & pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast offerings were a little on the sparse side compared to the Quality Inn we stayed in the previous night in another town, and I was absolutely sickened by the boiled egg situation (shells still on, when I cracked mine liquid went everywhere and I had to throw it away). Staff in the evening was very professional and welcoming. Staff in the morning had three or four small children with her in and around the front desk. I definitely understand that sometimes unusual situations arise, but it did not make a great impression. Coming to this hotel we were excited. When we checked-in, a trainee and an employee took 10 minutes to check us in. There is no pool and exercise center. You have to drive to go to it. Our air conditioner broke at night and it was so hot in our room. When you want to take a shower, the whole bathroom gets wet. My clothes got very wet after my shower. The water would leak through the little, thin, sheet. The blankets are very rough and uncomfortable, the sheets are nice though. Overall it was a rough experience in Delta, CO. read more

The room was adequate and reasonably clean, but if the pervasive odor of stale cigarette smoke is offensive to you, you will not be "comfortable" here. Were it not for that awful stench, this would have been an adequate place to stay. The good news is that we could keep our little dog with us. The bad news is they allow those other huge dogs and we saw a couple check in with two dogs the size of small horses, which has to make one wonder what might have been on your bed the night before. The hot breakfast was very decent and the staff cordial. It is not an awful place, but for the price we paid, I would expect a very clean place that doesn't smell like a pool hall from days of yore. read more

I came to Delta for my grandmother's funeral. I arrived around 11 PM after a long drive to find that they had given away my reservation, with no other rooms available. The hotel staff was unfriendly and rude. They had a "not my problem" attitude and told me "there's nothing I can do, I'm not going to kick someone out of their room".
