I live in a second story apartment with 56 windows. Yup 56. I called them on Thursday and they were able to come out on Friday. Impressive. I had asked them to schedule an early call because I was afraid that the bank below me may be affected by them working above it. Well, they were 2 1/2 hours late and the bank was already open by the time they got here. The reason I still gave them 5 stars is that they were very careful not to get in the way or block sidewalk traffic during there work. And the bottom like is they did a great job. I have had Awful people hired by my landlord that just smeared dirt around and really did a bad job. That's why I hire my own and these guys always do a great job. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Andrew Poulin, the young, hungry owner, eagerly gave us an estimate promising he could handle the job better than anyone else. We have a two story, modern house with an specially delicate glass canopy. Andrew promised careful attention to detail and mentioned he could handle the most complex job. He also stated he was fully insured if anything should happen. Within the first thirty minutes of cleaning the glass canopy a worker dropped a piece of equipment on it and it instantly shattered into a million pieces. The single panel alone is nearly $3,000. What has followed is even more shocking. The workers did not even bother to tell me what had happened. They kept cleaning. I discovered the accident when I went downstairs to see how everything was going. They apologized but didn't know what to do. I couldn't get Andrew on the phone and left several messages for him to call me. A co worker had reached Andrew on the phone and when he hung up told me, "well, I just got ripped a new one." He was so upset that he couldn't focus on finishing the job and in fact, I had to finish cleaning the windows when they finally left including dirty hand prints they left on my walls. It was so bad I asked them to leave. When I finally spoke with Andrew four hours later he told me his insurance would handle everything and he was deeply apologetic. He promised me this would be handled quickly and professionally. He also promised to come to the house and clean the windows himself. None of this has happened. Quite the opposite. We submitted an estimate that was in fact lower than WWW but for some unknown reason Andrew wanted to use their own window company even though it was higher. In the end they agreed to use our window installer, but the point was mute because their insurance coverage DID NOT cover the damage caused by the employee. So beware if you do use this company that the insurance was rendered useless. Andrew was hands on during every process except for when things went wrong. He refused to return phone calls when it looked like the insurance company would not pay for the damage. We were deeply concerned by his evasive behavior and lack of communication that he was going to leave us with the bill. We spoke to an uncle who is also the accountant who seemed more upset about the damage and was more helpful. 5 weeks later WWW paid for the damage by writing us a personal check. It was not paid through insurance so if he states it was that is an out and out lie. WWW had the gall to deduct the cost of cleaning the windows which was subpar and I have consequently had to hire a new company to finish the job. For WWW to claim insurance paid for the damage is not only a lie but misleading to other customers. Save yourself the headache and hire a more professional company. I wish I had. read more

We have a lot of windows and they hadn't been cleaned in five+ years. We were hosting an event at the house on Wednesday. I called them on Monday just for the heck of it and they were able to squeeze me in. Then they came out and made the windows absolutely sparkle and were gone by just after lunch. It was as good as it gets. They also gave a recommendation for someone to fix a broken window on another part of the property. Very friendly crew, very good work. We had just completed a large plumbing job requiring lots of digging in the garden. Consequently, the windows and sills were covered with a film of dirt from all the excavating. Andrew's pricing is extremely fair and competitive and he demonstrated a positive "can do" attitude not observed in several competitors I called.. Andrew's crew arrived at the house during unbelievably challenging heat --- well over 100 degrees. The crew never stopped working, were positive and courteous and left the windows, sills and skylights sparkling. Found this company through Yelp and sent them a message requesting a quote to wash the windows in my home. They responded fairly quickly and then came out to look at my house and told my housekeeper they'd get back to me with a quote, which they never did. I then followed up with them and they said they were unfamiliar with my property, so I re-sent them my address. I then followed up to see if the reminder of my property address had jogged their memory and I got no response. I sent two more emails following up, asking for a quote and received nothing. Based on my experience, this company is totally non-responsive despite the good reviews others have given them on Yelp. read more

I found Westside Window Washers through Yelp. I read the reviews and decided to give them a try. I met Andrew, the owner, who came out and gave me an estimate for the job. I was very pleased with Andrew's crew. They came out on time as promised did an amazing job washing all the windows inside and out, cleaning the windowsills and the screens as well. They also power washed outside front and back patios. They also went on the roof and cleaned out the gutters. They were fast, thorough and professional. A true nightmare!! I called on Monday and was VERY SPECIFIC in saying that I needed my windows washed on Wednesday. The owner, Andrew, with whom I spoke said he could do the job around 3:00 pm. I asked about his rates and he said it varies but generally runs around $85-90/ hr for a two man crew. We agreed that he would come on Wednesday around 3:00. Andrew called at 3:12 on Wednesday to say that he had lots of other estimates in the area and wanted to reschedule because he was so busy! I told him I had left work early to be home for the window cleaning. He then informed me that his policy is to come out and do an estimate first, then send a crew at a later date to clean the windows. I explained to him that I was VERY CLEAR in my initial conversation, saying that I needed my windows washed on Wednesday. Nothing was mentioned in his initial conversation about first coming to give an estimate- He had already told me how much it would likely cost and I had agreed to that). So, I take time off from work and he doesn't show up to do the job he had agreed to do. NOT a good way to do business!! Don't waste your time with this company. read more

we have a beautiful modern home with large glass canopies 72in by 72in above the entrance. one of andrew's employess put a pole right though the glass and shattered it. he promised to make good on the replacement, but weeks have passed, and so far he has managed to avoid fixing the problem. He claims to have insurance, but so far no claim has been registered and no insurance person has contacted us. Andrew needs to pay us for the damage he caused and deal with his insurance company on his own. He will not return phone calls, and seems quite immature when it comes to running a business. In the meantime, I must come home each night and look at the damage Andrew has so far refused to fix. If you are considering using this company, beware.
