Tom does business in a great, old-school fashion where he takes time to explain what is needed, takes pride in his work and goes above-and-beyond what the job requires. After a few days of heavy rain and wind, I had a couple of gutters which needed repair. Once the rain/wind subsided, Tom promptly came out on a Saturday to repair the gutters and, while checking the stability of the other gutters, found/repaired another gutter. Afterwards, he proceeded to clean the gutters. This type of pride and customer service is extremely hard to find nowadays as most service or repairmen want to make a quick, big buck and move on to their next job without putting in any extra effort and with as little communication as possible, whether the customer is satisfied with the job or not. The cleaning crew arrived at 9:00 a.m., and by 1:00 p.m. they informed me that only about 50% of the home had been completed and that they needed an additional $600 to finish the job. What made the situation even more frustrating was that I was effectively left with no choice. At that point, half of the house had already been cleaned, leaving me to either pay the additional $600 or have the company walk away with the job unfinished. As the owner of a property management company, I found this business practice extremely concerning and unprofessional. If the scope of work was underestimated, that should have been identified before the work began, not after the customer is already committed. In my opinion, this pricing approach feels misleading and unethical. I would strongly encourage others to get all pricing and expectations in writing before hiring this company.

These guys were out last month here in Manhattan Beach. Friendly enough I suppose. But their work was sloppy. Water on my wood floors and carpet. They kind of walked around as if it was their place. Filling their buckets in my kitchen sink without asking (have a laundry room for that). Using their conditioned water pump on the pressure of the house which had to be reset after they left. They did show up on time. A father and his two sons. And their price was reasonable. But that's the only thing that went right. Instead of soap and water to clean they used some kind of solution. On the regular windows it was fine but on the ones that were tinted and filmed they had to go over and over them. Finally I just told them to stop.
