When I called Justin, I told him I believed our GFCI had gone bad in our bathroom but since I am not an electrician I could not be certain. We scheduled an appointment for a few days out, but he called us that same day saying he was on his way to another job and would be driving in our direction. and could come by. We agreed. My guess was correct and it was a bad GFCI outlet. Justin changed it out in the 20 minutes he was here and gave us our bill. Shock is the best way to describe the bill. It was $417.50! We paid him the $417.50 in cash but were very upset by his price. So my husband called him about it that same day. Mr. Macri agreed to refund us the $275 service charge he had tacked on the bill. When he came to our home to give us the refund the next day, he said he didn't have it all and would go to the bank and return with the balance. He never showed up. My husband called him twice more but Macri never responded. In the future I will be finding a new electrician, hopefully with more integrity and honesty than Justin Macri. So disappointing. I replaced three AC units and had some electrical work done with them and I couldn't be more happy with their work. I'll use them from here on out. I'll provide a quick example of the type of company this is. I wanted to install Reme Halo's in my house due to my allergies and one AC company told me that because of Halo's potential impact on C19 (100% not proven) they were in very short supply but they had bought the last major shipment in Houston and would sell me them at 4x their list price. So naturally I had others look into it as well and Laredo offered to install them at cost plus labor and they were able to find them from a certified dealer. And they provided me some information on them as well. AC units and this type of work can be very expensive. Be careful out there and do your research.
