I had a long overdue exam and felt like every concern had been addressed. Then I got to choose a pair of eyeglasses with Sara's (owner) help... correct that, I ended up choosing FIVE pairs of glasses and sunglasses. Their selection is soo unique! I highly recommend choosing Weston Optical, a quiet and very quaint store with undivided attention. read more

I first went to Weston Optical because they carry brands I love. I wear glasses full time, so finding frames that feel like a true fashion accessory matters to me. The staff was wonderful--patient, attentive, and genuinely helpful--and I left with a beautiful pair of glasses that suit my face perfectly. The atmosphere is calm, the service is personal, and I highly recommend them. read more

My wife and I walked into Weston Optical eight years ago after experiencing typical "commercial" companies. The first experience was when Michael fixed a commercial pair of glasses for my wife who had a terrible repair history with one of these big companies. He repaired the issue like a savant. Since then we have both bought new glasses from them many times. We have received numerous compliments on the uniqueness of our glasses. The selection is upscale and prestigious. Glasses have become another accessory of apparel which Sarah's artistic flare and guidance helps match to your face shape. The customer service and quality is beyond compare! read more

Very excellent service in a calm well appointed environment. Optician was very helpful, informative and attentive. Eyeware was not a disappointment. Shop has a diverse stock of high end frames from Lindberg, Luvon, etc. read more

Great service and always welcoming. I have been doing business with them for 20 years.

My sister is soooo picky. She looked all over for good glasses. She needed bifocals and Sarah was a great help. She so knowledgeable and is so stylish give a great frames to start with. Made her feel comfortable. They worked on picking a good pair. read more

I got my first Google Glass last month. While Google suggested that I go to one of the approved providers I chose to go to Weston Optical where I know and trust the people and am glad I did for they know me and they know my eyes. The Google frames are rather limited in styling but, of course, that is not the point. Despite the newness of the whole thing, getting prescription lenses installed and Google Glass operational was a breeze. I was very worried about the lens part of this but Weston Optical made it a non-event. What was supposed to take two weeks took one. They know what they are doing. read more

Only interested in selling you expensive services. Many years ago, I purchased a very expensive pair of glasses. Service was excellent and product was as well during the initial purchase and when I replaced the lenses. About 8 years ago, the left arm broke. They tried to "convince" me to purchase a new pair of glasses with the story that the bridge or right arm was going to be compromised. I declined and they reluctantly replaced just the left arm. About 5 years ago, I had cataract surgery on my left eye and vision was corrected so I replaced the left lens with a clear lens. Again, they gave me the hard sell to replace both lenses or at least have scratch proof coating ($150) on the new lens - lenses will look different, scratches on the old lens, etc. Again, I declined and they reluctantly replaced just the left lens with a clear lens w/o coating. Just recently, I got cataract surgery on my right eye, so I called them to see if I could just replace the right lens with a reading lens. After looking up my glasses, they claimed that my left lens was a progressive lens and that they could "only" replace my right lens with a like product. When I told them that was not true and I only wanted a quote for replacing the right lens with a non-coated +1.00 reading lens, they decided I was no longer worth their time and effort . They told me "I have another customer waiting for me" and hung up. So, if you have money to spend, they will fawn on you. But once they figured out that they cannot make anymore money off of you, they will literally kick you out the door. Sad read more

Family owned, not a chain, this is a small eyewear store with a great selection of high end eye wear. Old school customer service, as in they help you until you have what you need. It's so much fun going in there. When I work with Jesse he takes the time with me. I am a daily glasses wearer and get stopped in the street with "I love your glasses, where did you get them.". It's no pearl vision so if you want the factory style in and out this is not for you. But if you're into style, quality and looking good, go here. Yes it's expensive but the glasses are on my face all day long and I'm worth it. read more

Don't know why I have not written a review before. I have shopped here for many years. This is a family owned business and now the youngest waited on me today. Service and selection is immpeccable. They have all the latest designers and have the knack for finding the best pair for you, which isn't easy when you start out with obout 20 frames. They explain everything in great detail and will replace anything if it isn't to your liking. They adjust your glasses for as long as you own them. Parking and location is a breeze. read more

It had been over 8 years between visits to Weston Optical, and rarely has the cliché "you get what you pay for" been more appropriate. In the interim, I had been to two small operations and one well-known chain, all with sub-optimal results. You should expect to pay top dollar, but what you will receive in return is the one-to-one service of a knowledgeable, family-owned business. You can expect high-quality merchandise and patient, individualized attention when selecting a frame, a style, or a lens option. Knowing that the business has been passed down from father to son lets me know that Weston Optical will be there for my eyecare needs for a good long time to come. read more

AWESOME!!!! What a gorgeous establishment and professional atmosphere. I went in for just a nose pad on my favorite Gucci sunglasses and lo and behold Jesse overhauled my glasses. He tightened the temples, replaced both nose pads and totally cleaned the lenses and added a silicone covering to the lenses. He was so friendly too. I felt like family! You've got a new customer and I'll be sure to spread the good word! read more

I have been a customer of Weston Optical for at least twenty years. Ten years ago, when I bought my "new titanium frames", I was told they were indestructible and they would long outlast me. Since the frames were a small fortune, I was very pleased to hear it. This week. one of the arms of my "indestructible" frames broke in half. When I took them back to Weston Optical, I was told the proprietors would never say frames would last forever and then I was charged $150.00 for the repair. Weston optical was defensive, borderline hostile and now I feel that instead of having been sold indestructible frames, I was sold a bill of goods. They have lost me as a long time customer and I am eager to get the word out about this unpleasant incident. read more

My family and I have purchased 4 sets of glasses and 2 sunglasses in the past few years from Weston Optical. This is simply the best optical shop we've been to! Period! The staff is exceptionally competent and patient. They have a great selection of the latest frames. Not only do they have excellent taste and skill in helping recommend great looking frames, they also cut and fit their lenses with extreme precision. No guess work or "good enough" craftsmanship here. I learned a tremendous amount as they patiently explained exactly what they can do and what to expect. Even with difficult to fit prescriptions. They are master opticians. Why go elsewhere and settle for second best? If you need progressive bifocals or anything other than the simplest prescription lenses, don't take a chance with another shop. Trust me, I've learned the hard way by going to less skilled opticians in the past. Weston Optical will get it right and make sure you are happy with the fit. I've been to many optical shops over the years. None can compare to the skill, service and personal attention you get here. Save yourself the headache of going to generic eyeglass stores or chains. If you want the best, Weston Optical is the optical shop for you. Don't settle for less than perfect work. Make the trip to Weston Optical. You'll be glad you did! read more

My two children need glasses, and they are patient with both of them. They have a few small toys for the kids to play with also. The glasses are wonderful; and they keep the paperwork, so if the child breaks the glasses, they help with the warranty. Great customer service. We go in often to have the glasses adjusted. I totally recommend them. read more

I've been going to Weston Optical for over 30 years. It's simply the best. They have a great selection of all kinds, European styles hard to find any where else - but the best part is that they know exactly the type of glasses to pull for you that really flatter your face.... They are the experts. I'm always given a good selection to work with, and never have to "settle" for what becomes part of my waking life, every single day. I always walk out of Weston Optical feeling great, and can never wait to get my new glasses! They have the kind of customer service thats so rare these days. Every customer is treated like a personal friend. No matter how far from there I live, it's worth the trek. As far as I'm concerned Weston Optical is where its at - for style, expert advise & customer service. read more

THis is the only place to go for glasses. I live in Boston and I travel out to Weston Optical to fill my eyeglass prescriptions. I have a complicated prescription and tried other businesses with horrible results. . As another reviewer said.... "you get what you pay for". You get high quality service in a family owned business with staff that knows how to fit your glasses in every way. read more

This is a family business, and they definitely treat you like family. I deal with son Jesse, who grew up in the business and is carrying on a tradition of trusted, professional advice. They don't try to sell you the most expensive frames; just what's right for you. You can certainly buy cheaper frames -- or frames, cheaper -- elsewhere, but the level of service, both before and after the sale, is unsurpassed. That makes a difference, when you go in, periodically, to get frames checked/adjusted at no charge. They're not trying to make a sale, they're trying to build a relationship. They have great frames, of course. I don't know if the selection is "big" or "small," but I've certainly never had a problem finding something that looks great, feels great, and gets lots of compliments! read more

i have a tiny, narrow face. the people here will try endless pairs of glasses on me until i find the one that feels right, and then adjust them for me any number of times without complaint. they also brought my titanium-frame glasses back from the dead after i stepped on them. read more

I regularly read yelp reviews but have never posted a review until now. I decided to go to Weston Optical because of the positive yelp reviews. The optician I normally went to retired and I needed to find a new place for glasses. I ended up browsing at two different optical stores, and Weston Optical was by far the best. Not only is there a large selection of frames, but the service is wonderful. Another reviewer used the word 'impeccable'--I could not agree more. Russell was very attentive and helped me in the selection of frames. I was not rushed at all. Because of my complicated prescription, I was concerned about getting the prescription 'right'--- the final result is that I am thrilled with my new glasses--they look and feel great. My son also bought glasses here and was very happy with both the selection and service. It doesn't get better than Weston Optical. read more

I have bought two pairs of high end glasses at Weston Optical and have been very satisfied with the great service and excellent selection of frames and lens options. New location down the road is even more convenient. Premium pricing but the service is unmatched. read more

Weston Optical stands behind their glasses, even fixing my pair of Lindberg after the dog chewed them. The staff are the best from selection to fitting and repair. They are dedicated to complete customer satisfaction. Good as it gets. We will always get our glasses here. read more
