My very first waxing experience was so traumatic, I had to research other places on Yelp because in my that experience, I had booked a particular person based on the reviews, and I found out at the end of my session that I got someone else because that person did not introduce herself in the beginning. I also opted for a full bikini wax session, and that lady pressured me to get more hair off more than I had planned for. Green Wave was A MUCH BETTER VIBE!! I was immediately greeted by staff the moment I walked in, and a minute later, my wax technician greeted me and introduced herself as Mariana with a friendly smile. I already started to feel at ease. She gave me an obstetric wipe to use before we got started, which puts me more at ease seeing how careful and meticulous their processes are. I can't say that waxing down there is painless because it's still hurt, but it didn't hurt as bad as my first experience -- I opted for the deep bikini ($35) and she cleaned up very well! She even offered to trim the rest of my hairs. Mariana was very patient with me, even asked if I wanted more hair removed and I did not feel pressured at all! Even after each pull, she applied pressure to dull the pain, and put powder and at the end used a cooling spray. Some of these techniques I noticed were never done in the first place I went to, which was just all pull and pull with no mercy. Thank you Green Wave for a much better experience and although it's a bit of a drive for me, much more worth it! I'd come again!

I have noticed as others have said that this location seems to have a very high turnover with new employees. There is always someone new at the front desk & it's difficult to build a comfortable relationship with the staff when it keeps changing. You just start to see the same person & then boom - someone new. Today was unfortunately a pretty cold experience with the front desk receptionist - Strictly business - weird.

I wish the technician would have told me while I was there and I would have asked her to add it on. I would think it would be obvious since I was getting head to toe service. Lastly, when I went to pay, they told me they don't accept $100 bills. My service was several hundred dollars and it doesn't make sense to carry small bills since I knew it would be several hundred dollars. I had to walk down to the bank in the plaza to get change. Don't expect to wait long and do your work because my esthetician Chrissy was very much on time. Chrissy was so pleasant and cheerful, and made the whole process of waxing not uncomfortable. This was not my first experience with Natura. I have always been pleased with Natura. Every esthetician that has worked on me has always asked if the wax is too hot or if I'm uncomfortable, because they are so concerned about your comfort. After experiencing issues with a few nail technicians, the owner, Jackie, began doing my nails. She was always kind and professional, and I appreciated that. Eventually, I started booking with Alex, and in the beginning, everything went really well. After a few appointments, however, I noticed a change in the experience. Communication didn't feel the same, and I began feeling less comfortable bringing up concerns. I make money by photographing my nails and feet, so details matter to me. I always tried to communicate respectfully when something wasn't quite right. During my last appointment, I expressed that I wasn't happy with the nail color before the service was finished, but we continued with it anyway. I don't like confrontation, so I didn't push the issue in the moment, but I left disappointed. I ended up having to go to another salon to get the look I originally wanted because there wasn't availability to have it corrected. Afterward, I sent a detailed message explaining how I felt, hoping we could find a solution. While I received a response, I didn't feel that there was any effort to resolve the situation. I also reached out to the salon and explained everything when they asked what happened, hoping someone would follow up or offer a resolution, but I never heard anything further. I regularly spent over $200 on my appointments, not including the tip, so I expected that my concerns would be taken seriously. I wasn't looking for perfection--I was looking for communication, accountability, and a willingness to work with a loyal client when something didn't go as planned. I genuinely wish the salon and everyone there the best. This review isn't meant to discourage anyone from going there; it's simply an honest account of why I decided to take my business elsewhere. I believe every client deserves to feel welcomed, heard, and valued.
