Love these things. Couldn't believe the carried them. And NO these won't be going in my trauma kit
Lauren L.

Came here to prep a trauma kit for our off-roading adventures. The staff here is so super nice. They have everything from urinary catheters to Carmax Chapstick! This is an actual medical supply store (wrist splints and scooters, and a portable toilets) and pharmacy. They don't carry a ton of stock of random items so call ahead to see if they actually have it if you need something very specific. There is free parking around the side. The hours are good. The management at this place is amazing because the entire staff this day was hustling - you could tell they were super busy - and every single person in the store was attended to appropriately. We will certainly be back.

Loving the flavor!

I was referred to Westmont Pharmacy by the local hospital physical therapists. They helped me with home medical equipment after surgery.

I've been going to this Walgreens pharmacy for almost two years--I take a medication that I have to…read moreget on time every week, or I'll get so sick I can't work or get out of bed. You could say it's a priority, then, that this prescription is filled with no issues. Twice this pharmacy has said they didn't receive my prescription request or my doctor never sent it. My doctor has never been to blame. It's always been Walgreens, somehow unable to take responsibility for their mistakes. Is it the computers? Is it their system? Is it the pharmacy itself? Who knows! I never seem to get an answer as to why this happened, only that it happened, and now I have to handle it myself. It's caused me a lot of pain to be without my medication even for a few days. You'd think a pharmacy would want to prevent this at all costs, but they seem just fine with the way things are. The two stars is for the younger pharmacy techs here. They're really kind, and I always appreciate their service. It's also for the rest of the store, which I don't have any issues with. I'm sad to change Walgreens because of the pharmacy, as I really like this one. But I can't ignore the issue now that it's happened a second time. My advice: at this location, don't take it for granted your prescription will be filled with no issues unless you're handing it to them personally.

Then she proceeded to wave us off with her hand and told us the line started over there (pointed to the other side) but there was no one standing in line. I'm not sure where she pointed to. Then she asked me if that was alcohol (I was holding a wine bottle) and I said yes. I don't understand what the relevance of that question was because she said nothing else. In the end another male cashier came to check me out and had no further interaction with the female cashier. Her behavior was very unprofessional and rude. She needs to learn how to talk to customers the way she talks to her mom (she said have a good lunch mom out loud) I guess her mom works there too.

I know they think I'm a drug addict or alcoholic because of the meds I take and that is why they are treating me like a drug seeker. It's not the first time this happened to me at a compounding pharmacy. My prescription price was raised $25 without notice. I was already paying $125 out of pocket. LDN is prescribed for many reasons I'm disabled from medical negligence. My emails have not been answered as to why the price has gone up. Nobody in that pharmacy has been kind.

I walked in and was warmly greeted by Steve, the pharmacist. I was so taken aback I thought he must be talking to someone else but no. The effusive greeting was for me. Nice. My doctor had called in the prescription so it was there and waiting for me. Steve took the time to tell me what it was, how I should take it and mentioned a number of side effects that I could have from the meds. Not unusual for a pharmacy but this guy was just so darn nice in the way he did it! The walls of this small shop are full of items to purchase from therapeutic stockings, to bandages, to cold meds and other drug store type items. They even have a small cooler stocked with juices and waters which was great as it enabled me to begin taking my prescription immediately. Another plus? There is free valet parking out front so you can jump out of your car and be in and out in a flash (especially helpful when you aren't feeling well) This place probably gets all of its business from the doctors that are in the building that it occupies, as there is no outside signage, and other drug stores may be more convenient. And like other drug stores- they take insurance so this was no more expensive than where I usually get my scripts filled. But for that small town feel of a real pharmacy, without all the big box hype, Elm Plaza Pharmacy with Steve at the helm is a perfect choice.
