I like going into Walgreen's because you always find something you need. I usually go for the pharmacy but I would suggest shopping their sales, sometimes there are really good deals. I went in for a card I needed for a wedding. I was in, found what I needed, and out. read more

The pharmacist is very unprofessional and runs the pharmacy by her standards, not caring what your Dr. thinks. The Manager Tom is "Afraid " of Ana the pharmacist and lets her run the pharmacy anyway she likes. Even telling me to shop elsewhere and giving me suggestions where to go?? I live in a building with 52 units and recently went to a meeting, bringing up my experience. The majority agreed they no longer shop Walgreen's (Oakbrook) and go elsewhere for their vaccines. # Stay Away read more

Absolutely horrible service at the Pharmacy. The technician was great and very helpful but the pharmacist on duty Monday, July 1st at 4:45 pm was the worst. I took my Rx to Westmont Walgreens now. Patrick and Ashley were very helpful read more

We like Walgreens but where we live, it's a couple towns over . Here in Chicago, besides the usual pharmacy and personal care needs and some food, liquor and beer and wine is sold here. Even on Sunday!!! Clean store , stocked shelves and helpful employees. What more could you ask for? read more

Let's keep it real- we all know that the older Indian guy who works the cash register isn't always friendly- he can be straight up condescending (don't know why, he looks like he's from a lower caste family back in the motherland LOL....nevertheless, while my husband and I have a main property in Lincoln Park, we drive out to this Walgreen in the suburbs to avoid the craziness/crime happening around Chicago these days, and for the most part, always feel safe at this Walgreen's location. read more

This place is awful. It always takes them a long time to fill prescriptions that take much less time elsewhere. They don't listen to their customers and have many issues. read more

Listen. I have never complained or gotten upset at retail workers because I've worked retail pharmacy before and I get it. I came in to request an emergency fill on sertraline, something I have been on for several years. The technician was very nice and requested the refill from a new provider I'm seeing. She then asked the pharmacist if she could do the emergency fill. The pharmacist denied me because the last fill they had on file was from June last year. I explained that I had leftover supply at home and had been using that and recently I had switched to a different antidepressant to try it out and I didn't do well with it. She still refused and told me to my face that I wasn't taking sertraline. Why would I lie about taking an SSRI!? I wasn't asking for a benzo, an opioid, a stimulant. It's god damn Zoloft. Obviously, she does not care about her patients, because there is zero chance that she would have gotten in trouble for giving me a week supply to hold me over. Now I have to deal with the shit withdrawal that comes with stopping an SSRI cold turkey. Because of some weird power trip she had. I'm never filling anything with Walgreens again. And not that this matters much but I am a pharmacist, I've worked for Walgreens and I would have never denied a patient an emergency fill for an antidepressant. read more

This is from 4pm on 9/6. I'm at the cashier ready to make a purchase and the Indian employee was burning a hole through two African American people who walked in. In front of me, he called the manager and told him to "watch those two". His attention was pretty much focused on "those two" instead of the transaction. The manager proceeded to keep on eye on "those two" who ended up buying some soap. That was the worst example of racial profiling I've seen in a long time. Unbelievable. read more

The pharmacy is so unorganized. Don't bother making an appt for Covid shots because it takes about an hour even though you have one. It's a very small waiting area, and although they have a sign for social distance...more than 2 waiting makes it impossible. I read more

I ended up going here to pick up some essentials. Nice well lit store with good service.

This is a truly awful pharmacy. It's worth the trip to go to another location. The pharmacy staff- mainly the woman pharmacist- is unbelievably rude, not only to myself but to everyone she seems to encounter in person or via phone. It's important when working with patients to have customer service skills, or even to just be polite. I would hope the Walgreens company would take notice of the comments about this pharmacy and the pharmacist, and possible monitor the patient service provided by this unkind woman. It would be refreshing to be able to work with someone who would reinforce trust with your care, instead of what is currently happening. They seem to be a pretty busy location, and I am sure they would benefit from a positive replacement. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Just had surgery today (Tuesday) and had a prescription prescribed to this location and got a call saying it was delayed. I am in severe pain so I called and the girl was very rude and said that I wouldn't get my medication till Friday (I should be done taking the medication by then). Have been going to there for about a 2 years and have had multiple bad experiences with prescriptions and rude, inconsiderate people but it is the closest location to my house and now this is the last straw. The doctor sent over a different medication that should be in stock and it is still pending till tomorrow afternoon. If I wasn't in so much pain and needed this medication this would be a different story. Never going here again. read more

If I could give this a negative star rating I would. Worst Walgreens I've ever had the misfortune of walking into. Parking lot and store are always empty. Should be a bad enough sign. I don't know how this place stays open. Employees are rude when they do speak to you. The pharmacy is a nightmare. One time they had me waiting in the drive thru 2 hours and I had to leave without my prescription. When I call them they keep you on hold forever. I've since moved my prescriptions to another Walgreens. Stay away from this one. read more

I've been to several Walgreens pharmacies. I began going to this location because it is located by my office. I will not go back to this location. Quite possibly the worst customer/patient service I've ever experienced at a pharmacy. I would never trust the pharmacy at this location to care for family and friends. read more

Sub-standard Walgreens. Ordered some pictures and had them sent to this Walgreens since I would be in the area. They were supposed to be ready by 1, so I planned to pick them up at that time and then head downtown to my dad's so I can give them to him while meeting up for dinner. I ended up waiting half hour past 1. As I was waiting, I wandered around the store. Pretty standard layout, though they don't have as much as other walgreens, (books, gifts, etc). I kept checking back at the photo counter because I saw my pictures being printed. Finally, I saw they were done. A girl goes behind the counter and asks what name my photo order is under. I told her and she asked if I was sure because she didn't see anything under that name. I told her they had to be here because I just saw them being printed. She finds the box with half of my pictures in there and scans the box. I said, "Um, is this all of them, because I think there's some still on the printer." Confused, she goes back and says "Are these you?" and I said yes. She said she didn't realize it since the box was pretty much labeled and set aside as ready to go. So someone else had put it with the finished pile? I could have left without half of my order! Glad we got that figured out, and she did give me a few extra envelopes upon request. Check your orders before you leave. Not my regular Walgreens so I won't be coming back anytime soon. read more

Worst Walgreens pharmacy ever!! I had to wait at least 20 minutes in the drive thru and every time I went inside no one was there. They said they didn't have all my info on my prescription so I had to ask them to please call the doctor, which took 2 weeks! After that they called and I came within a week tp find out they no longer had my prescription. So rude and worst service ever! Everyone in the drive thru line was frustrated each time I went (3 times to fill one prescription!!) read more

Just trying to find out if a clinic is in this Walgreens. Was on hold waiting for a pharmacist to pick-up for 20 min. Hung up, then called to talk to customer service. Waited another 15 min. Finally spoke to a woman and asked if there is a clinic in this Walgreens. Her response was, "I think so". What??? How could you not know this answer. She said she would connect me to the pharmacy. Didn't want to wait another 20 min, so I asked to speak to the manager. Waited another 15 min. Still no one picked up. This is crazy!!! Still don't know the answer to this question!! I'll go to another location. read more
