So today, when my husband and I went in to buy a toilet for the FIRST time ever, I honestly wasn't expecting much. Boy, was I wrong! Alex and Allison helped us, and they were AMAZING. They didn't just point us toward the toilets and walk away. They took the time to explain everything, helped us figure out what we needed, and even pointed out things we might need that we never would have thought of. At one point, all of us were standing there trying to figure something out and nobody could quite figure it out. Instead of giving up, they were like, "No, we're going to learn this together!" So they brought in more help. That's when David came over. He was wearing a camo Lowe's vest and was just as genuinely kind and helpful. He explained how to fix the broken valve we were dealing with and made sure we had everything we needed before we left. I was honestly blown away. These three didn't make us feel stupid for not knowing what we were doing. They were patient, they helped us learn, and they made sure we didn't waste money on things we didn't need. Normally, my husband and I would have left Lowe's missing half the stuff we needed, getting on each other's nerves and probably fighting in the parking lot. But not today! We actually left with everything we needed and feeling confident about tackling the project ourselves. I made sure to get their names because they absolutely deserve recognition. Thank you, Alex, Allison, and David, for completely changing my opinion of Lowe's. Whatever you are doing differently, KEEP IT UP! Now we just have to install the toilet. That's the part I'm a little nervous about. Lowe's gave us Alex, Allison, and David to get us this far. Once we get home, it's just me, my husband, a toilet, and YouTube. And honestly, if David happens to be walking through the parking lot when we leave, I might just roll down the window and say, "David... you busy? Because we could really use you at our house." Seriously though, thank you for making what could have been a frustrating trip one of the best Lowe's experiences we've ever had!

The two guys delivering were the WORST! Lowe's should contact me for details. The driver tried to refuse delivery to our 2nd floor condo saying "we don't do stairs" and said he will unload onto the public sidewalk and drive off. I took out my cellphone and immediately started recording should I need proof of service. At this point I told him to do just that and I will call the police, Lowe's and let it set there. At this point his partner called his boss and the boss said to deliver it and pick up the old appliance that the customer paid for "haul away" service. The driver kept arguing with me saying "we don't work for Lowe's. I responded "yes you do because you are contracted with them AND paid by them so therefore you DO work for Lowe's". The end result is our new $3,000.00 electric range was delivered and the old range hauled off. To think you pay for an appliance and haul away and some people don't want to do their job. If you don't do stairs then find another job!

Until the part showed up and only had one in the box and their website clearly states 2 per box. So if they're going to sell them as separate pieces maybe they should remove the section on the ad that says there's 2 in box. Due to this ridiculous phrasing I now cannot complete the job I needed them for. As a small shop just starting out this is not the way I needed this job to go. Very very dissatisfied with their services. This has already cost me 75 dollars and now I'm going to have to apparently spend another 75 dollars to get the second piece on a job that's only been billed for 230. I'm now down to an 80$ job.
