I did a review on this place a month to two months ago. I had gone in there to get weed killer for my yard and when I took it to the register, it was more than the price it was underneath and the girl tried to get a hold of whoever else in the store asked if there was some sales she didn't know about, etc. I went over there. I took a picture of the product you can clearly see in that picture where I had taken the one off the shelf, and there were still more behind it. When I did the review I was contacted and I was told that whatever it scans is the price it is. Long story short they are closing the store. I decided to go back in there and take a peek and the item that they told me was more than the price. It was listed on it. They still have that price underneath that item that makes no sense to me, especially when the so-called manager told me that a customer probably put it there. Well a customer did not stock those shelves and to go in there after all the complaining I did to see that that same price is still under that product. It's probably a good thing that this store is closing that being said it is the fault of Westlake for allowing people to carry their name, and I am not done with them and I am not done with this I will continue to post this over all social media accounts to make sure that Westlake understands you allow people to carry your name. I went to purchase a STIHL KombiMotor KM 131 R Gas Multi-System Power Head from this Ace Hardware store in Edmond - paid $459.99 for what I thought was a brand new tool. When I gave it to my husband for his birthday he noticed it was used, rusted, and still had fuel in it. We called the store Manager CRAIG and his response was "Call Stihl, you have a warranty!!!" Was a total asshole on the phone, lied and said he didn't have another NEW one in stock. We went up there immediately and discovered he DID have another new one in stock. He proceeded to hand it over without even apologizing or transferring the warranty over to the new serial number. If this store cares at all about its customers and service, I think they should maybe rethink keeping Craig on as Manager. He was incredibly rude and unapologetic- a total lying asshole. I have an Ford OEM blank key that i need cut and programed to my truck. Ace Hardware wants to charge me 230.00 to do this. :( Crazy thing is they want to sell me a cheap aftermarket one (Not OEM Ford Product) cut it and program the buttons using a forscan tool. I asked..."can you just cut this key i have and how much to program or just cut it???" The answer was 230.00!! I think this is crazy! Am i wrong? then his response was... how else do you think we pay for this machine? WHAT???? Come on ACE your a billion dollar company... Friendly customer service... they bend over backwards for the customer except for getting a key cut... So if any one else needs a key cut and programed stay tuned! ill update this review with a follow up. I'll probably be done with this particular ace hardware store!! This is that customer experience at a hardware store you simply cannot get at large stores like Home Depot or Lowe's. That is the difference between shopping here and the bigger stores, the personal touch customer service. Things here are affordable, the store isn't 30 miles long, and every person working there knows where everything is and they are all genuinely happy working there. read more

I always get fast and friendly service here. I try to support Ace as they have a good selection and competitive pricing, while still providing knowledgeable help. Big box stores lack this. It's not unusual to have the manager on the floor helping as well. Great service. read more

Ace kind of scares me. It never has everything I need, but it always has something I've always wanted and I always spend more money than I wanted to. I've learned from my Grandpa that Ace is where you go if you're looking for something that you can't find anywhere else. Sure, you could always buy that something online...however, sometimes I need instant gratification and don't want to wait 7-10 days to receive my new drumstick holder for my grill. The prices are on par with other home improvement stores, but it doesn't offer a vast selection of hardware like other big box stores do. I never mind this though, because usually when I go to Ace, I'm getting something I can't find at those big box stores anyway. read more

This is my Go-To place for specific hardware items. The staff is OUTSTANDING and very knowledgeable. They know how to do it, what parts are needed and can offer alternative. Prices are slightly higher than the big box stores but personal customer service and getting the right item the first time pay off and make up any difference in gas and return trip savings. I like ACE Hardware much more than the large department stores like Lowes or Home Depot. I can't guarantee the pricing is better, but the organization and selection are great. I really enjoy the floating discount station and the off-the-wall products (candy, seasonings, toys, etc). All store associates greeted me on sight and were knowledgeable to my various questions. This is important, as I was on a mission during a lunch break for 3 items and the store clerk was able to tell me right off the bat if the item was in stock and/or where it was located in the store. Outside the store, there is a plethora of gardening plants and decorating items. Worth a visit just to get ideas even if you don't take something home with you. read more

I visited this store recently and was neither impressed nor disappointed. I remember when Ace was the only game in town where hardware was concerned, but other companies moved in and now I normally take my business to those stores. However, I stopped here because the location was convenient to my commute home from my office. It took a few seconds to orient myself to the store, but it didn't take long for me to find what I needed. Ace's selection was more limited than other stores, but they did have a few options to choose from. The sales associate stocking the shelves down the aisle saw me looking at the items and was helpful in offering solutions beyond what I thought about. Once I had product in hand and was checking out, the cashier also talked about the suggestions the associate mentioned. I didn't expect that, mainly because the cashiers at other stores either don't know all of the stock or aren't knowledgeable enough about home maintenance to be able to offer helpful ideas. On a subsequent visit I purchased a patio table/chair set at clearance prices and staff went above and beyond by disassembling the unit to accommodate transportation requirements for SUV. read more
