It's summer and I needed something for controlling the flies and I didn't want that old timey hanging tape. The folks at Westlake Hardware fixed me up! I got a fly stick - didn't even know there was such a thing! They have Everything! Paint, plants, patio things, lawn care, nuts, bolts, tools, rentals, and Fly Sticks! If you need it, they probably have it. AND...they are super nice! Stop in and support your locally owned hardware store!

I came in looking for ice melt and first asked at Customer Service. The employee told me she had only been there three days and suggested checking near the back wall by the garden center. We explained we had already looked there, but there was no attempt to confirm the location or walk us to the item. We then asked Dennis, who directed us to Aisle 6, Bay 2. When that didn't pan out, Houston checked the Lowe's app, which also listed Aisle 6, Bay 2 outside, but he mentioned the app is often unreliable. After several incorrect directions, we eventually found the ice melt outside between Aisles 1 and 2 on an end cap, far from where any employee had pointed us. The issue wasn't effort -- it was lack of accurate information, inconsistent guidance, and systems that employees themselves don't trust. It took these guys an entire year to accomplish two bathroom remodels. They have a significant…read morecommunication problem, not only between themselves or to their contractors, but also with their clients. Each step in the project was fraught with delays, price increases, and substandard work. The final costs were SIGNIFICANTLY over what they bid, and their customer service is severely lacking. They went through multiple contractors because none of their workers wanted to stay with them, and it was reported that they failed to pay their bills on time, which accounts for the delays and overcharging. If it wasn't for simply being relieved to be done with them, I think we could have easily filed a complaint with the BBB. We had to fight with them to get recompense for damages their contractors did to our house and are still working to repair other problems this company caused. Be warned, they are at least incompetent and negligent, and at worse criminal.

The rep drove over 100 miles to deliver and install the new capacitor. He gave me his personal cell and told me that he was available even during the evening and weekends if I had questions or problems. Great service, great products and great price....a winning combination in any business. I highly recommend them. We went down to pick up the table saw and they loaded it and helped me secure it even though I was there just before closing. Probably the best selection in the state too.
