It's summer and I needed something for controlling the flies and I didn't want that old timey hanging tape. The folks at Westlake Hardware fixed me up! I got a fly stick - didn't even know there was such a thing! They have Everything! Paint, plants, patio things, lawn care, nuts, bolts, tools, rentals, and Fly Sticks! If you need it, they probably have it. AND...they are super nice! Stop in and support your locally owned hardware store!

I wandered around the carpet and storm door areas looking for an associate to help me. At 7:21 I found an employee and asked for help. He stated that he does not know how to assist, but there is usually someone around. I said I hadn't seen anyone yet to which he quickly replied "Well it's Saturday night and we're about to close!!!!". I stated that I guess I didn't need anything then and he said "OK, thank you" and walked off. I put my items back and left, but not before confirming that the store closes at 10 PM. Loaded 4 sacks of mulch. Two cashiers and one floor person sitting and talking about a football game. Had to ask for someone to ring me up. For the safety of your family, I strongly suggest that you inspect any Lowe's appliance installers' work before they leave your home. I only found that the Lowe's installers' work was deficient when I later moved to dryer to clean behind it. To date, the Lowe's North May store manager has not returned my clear phone message on my concerns, and I plan to correct the issue at my own expense.

Each step in the project was fraught with delays, price increases, and substandard work. The final costs were SIGNIFICANTLY over what they bid, and their customer service is severely lacking. They went through multiple contractors because none of their workers wanted to stay with them, and it was reported that they failed to pay their bills on time, which accounts for the delays and overcharging. If it wasn't for simply being relieved to be done with them, I think we could have easily filed a complaint with the BBB. We had to fight with them to get recompense for damages their contractors did to our house and are still working to repair other problems this company caused. Be warned, they are at least incompetent and negligent, and at worse criminal.

He gave me his personal cell and told me that he was available even during the evening and weekends if I had questions or problems. We went down to pick up the table saw and they loaded it and helped me secure it even though I was there just before closing. Probably the best selection in the state too.
