I got a fly stick - didn't even know there was such a thing! They have Everything! Paint, plants, patio things, lawn care, nuts, bolts, tools, rentals, and Fly Sticks! I am an older female who hasn't mowed a lawn in decades. I was absolutely clueless and told the store manager as such when I called to share that a battery was missing in the order. He personally delivered the battery and then taught me how to use the tools safely, as well as how/when/why to charge the batteries (yes, it matters). I am so utterly grateful for his kindness that I don't know what to say. These tools would have been useless to me without these lessons. I'll be going back.

I came in looking for ice melt and first asked at Customer Service. The employee told me she had only been there three days and suggested checking near the back wall by the garden center. We explained we had already looked there, but there was no attempt to confirm the location or walk us to the item. We then asked Dennis, who directed us to Aisle 6, Bay 2. When that didn't pan out, Houston checked the Lowe's app, which also listed Aisle 6, Bay 2 outside, but he mentioned the app is often unreliable. After several incorrect directions, we eventually found the ice melt outside between Aisles 1 and 2 on an end cap, far from where any employee had pointed us. The issue wasn't effort -- it was lack of accurate information, inconsistent guidance, and systems that employees themselves don't trust. I paid for delivery and assembly this past Saturday, but the delivery guy dropped off the furniture stacked on top of each other on two huge wooden slats that I could not even move. He refused to assemble the furniture and and left everything blocking the backyard gate. I reported a complaint to corporate and they emailed me back trying to set up a time to come assemble the furniture, but by that time I had already hired someone else to do it for me. That same night there was a huge flooding scare in OKC, so I'm grateful for the other company who helped me out. Home Depot refused to give me a discount but offered me a $50 gift card instead. I will think twice before shopping at this Home Depot and probably other locations as well. What an awful experience!

A whole aisle of just chisels, tons of planes, saws, lathes, and cool turning tools I've never even heard of. I saw lots of different kinds of wood stock, and a bunch of cross cut slabs ready to go. So much more than that but there's a sample. I wasn't in there for anything in particular, just checking it out, but I overheard a few conversations with the staff, and they really know their stuff. They also hold classes there for people of all levels so you can learn how to use routers, lathes, scroll saws, or seemingly anything else you might want to use to shape wood. If you are thinking about starting a wood project, start here instead of a big box store, these people will give you some individual attention and help you find the right materials.

Loaded 4 sacks of mulch. Two cashiers and one floor person sitting and talking about a football game. Had to ask for someone to ring me up. Two able bodied young men still talking football ignored me (an elderly man) and I had to load my car without any offer of assistance. After I told him what I needed he said go straight to the cashier tell them what you need and they will ring it up. Sure enough I did exactly what he said made my purchase and then followed the road to the back to pick up what I purchased. I wish I would have grabbed his name because he knew what I needed after in told him. Sure beats walking around the store aimlessly!
