They were on time, hard working, and well worth the money. (5 stars if it were just based upon the two movers) The only problem with the move itself was that they gouged my couch and the fabric was damaged when they tried to force it through a door that was too small. They apologized and the company is sending someone out to fix it later in March. They would have been able to come sooner, but I had to book the repair on a weekend. (5 stars for customer service) My biggest problem, and the reason I gave it 3/5 stars is that I chose to book a Penske rental truck through Bellhops for a discounted rate. I felt like the lady who set up the rental truck was very misleading. "You can get a rental truck through us for only appx $30." Not true! There were hidden fees for mileage, and I even had to pay a $150 deposit!!! They added insurance for me at my request at a very low price, and then I found out that the liability insurance was not what I was billed by the truck company. I had to add another $20 for the real liability insurance. (1 star for misleading sales rep)

I am a previous happy customer (3 years there) who recently went online again looking for a storage…read moreunit. I applied for a 6x8 unit ($34) and when I got to the facility, was shown it was actually a 5x7 unit ($27.) which was unacceptable. When I asked for the actual 6X8 unit, I was told they would charge me a higher price of $50.00 (the in person price) admitted the error for the other was "administrative" and informed I would also still have to pay a ($25) administration fee! This sounds like a "bait and switch" move and I informed the corporate office and the better business bureau. I was offered another storage unit by another company larger (8X10) for the same in person price. I offered this to Devon's management team and was told "It doesn't matter the price you pay is insignificant to the quality of our business." It sounds like the new management team at Devon is of sadly a poorer quality than was there before.
