I am very happy with them. I live on an acreage, some folks want their favorite grocery store near them, I just want my JD dealer close for when i need something, they are there. Also, I bought a JD bar stool from them. I love it and use it when I need to sit in my kitchen and work at the sink or stove. Who would have thought that they would happen to have just what needed for my kitchen too. If you have an acreage to mow, trees to trim or other yard or property work to do, they have the equipment for you. If you need something a bit larger, they can help you with it.

So why did I change my 5 stars to 2 stars? After a pleasant call and working out a deal on the phone, I loaded up my trailer to pick up my purchase. Well, the deal changed by $149 and exceeded my limit. Kermit denied what he said on the phone. It wasn't really the money as much as the disrespect. I guess it makes a difference when the owner is not on site. In fairness he sent a text offering to accept a check for the original amount if I would come back. I already spent 3 hours on this, so I countered I would have a check ready if he delivered. No answer..... I'll include my original review from my previous visits below. Awesome Yanmar dealer. I called the day before and they told me they would for sure be able to fit me in today. When I called in the morning they said that they'd be there in the afternoon. I called again and they said between 1-5pm. I was annoyed, but I get it things happen. After 5pm I'm still patiently waiting and someone finally shows up, with the worst attitude possible around 5:30ish. He doesn't tell me anything about what the issues were, doesn't tell me the cost prior to completing the repair- nothing. He was just throwing a tantrum the whole time( maybe he was supposed to be off, idk) This is where I felt the MOST disrespected. When I asked what the issue was and what all parts needed to be replaced all he said was, " I dug it up, found the leak and fixed it." Cool- like can you be more specific since i told you where the leak was? Then his crappy attitude came back out so I just left it alone. I asked for the receipt and for him to write down the issue on the receipt - legit writes down the same thing.. and this is where it gets good- CHARGES ME 5 dollars for the receipt?! What the heck?! I felt like I was being scammed for the service so of course I wanted the receipt so I paid for the receipt. Wild, I know. But anywho- don't use the Waterloo location. Crappy service, disrespectful, and will scam you.

My first…read morebaby succulents were adopted from Walmart and Lowe's so this was the first time venturing out to a plant nursery. As always, I conferred with Yelp and decided on Calvert's. The first thing I noticed was how charming it looked from the road. We turned into the nursery and down a path full of gorgeous ceramic plant pots of all sizes and colours. Parking was ample and convenient. As we entered the green house we were greeted by a friendly "hello". My eyes lit up at all the pretty decorations, plants, and flowers as I scanned for succulents. All their plants look well cared for. Green and luscious. Healthy. There were many succulent varieties and I felt like a kid in a candy shop. As I'm fairly new to the hobby (been at it for just a month) I wanted baby succulents as I love to feel accomplished tending to them and seeing them grow. They had many 4-inch pot plants but very few 2-inchers. Still, I managed to find a baby bear's paw and cobweb plant I wanted. We went up to pay and the staff/cashiers were happy and friendly. Such a nice atmosphere! It must be so calming and pleasant to be among plants and flowers everyday for them I'm definitely coming back to check out their succulents again.
