Fast forward go 2023, our faucets developed some flow issues and the plumber we hired to repair them caused more issues than they fixed. I decided to deal with the problem myself and went back to Ferguson to ask for help. Not only did the parts department take the time to find the schematic for my faucet (which is being retired by the manufacturer I learned) but when they couldn't find anyone who had the part in stock they took me to the Business Manager who took my info and said she'd look into it. Due to her help I'm now getting new faucets covered under warranty and she did ALL the work to help me! I don't know if/when we will do another remodel, but our fixtures will come from Ferguson for sure!

We were there on an overcast Friday, so they weren't busy. Every employee was masked, said hello, asked if we needed help, and then left us alone when we explained we were just kicking tires. While there are certainly some high end things, we were pleasantly surprised by the prices on some things, like lighting. We found many fixtures that we liked that were in our price range. I'm not sure what more I could ask for in visiting a showroom. I got lots of ideas, as well as an idea of what I can and cannot afford. I left with several catalogues. I was never pressured at all, nor was I made to feel like I was in the way for not being a serious customer, rolling in with dimensions and timelines. I can't wait until I'm far enough along in my project to show up with my binder and my checkbook!

When I asked what the issue was and what all parts needed to be replaced all he said was, " I dug it up, found the leak and fixed it." I asked for the receipt and for him to write down the issue on the receipt - legit writes down the same thing.. and this is where it gets good- CHARGES ME 5 dollars for the receipt?! What the heck?! I felt like I was being scammed for the service so of course I wanted the receipt so I paid for the receipt. Wild, I know. But anywho- don't use the Waterloo location. As it is, they haven't readied my items yet. And now I'll have to wait until tomorrow. Very frustrating, when everyone else can have your order picked in 1-2 hours. Just go get it, if it's in stock. They'd rather you did that, too, from a mangers standpoint.

The sectional however was damaged on delivery and I have held payment until I have the proper merchandise. Bonnie came to my house trying to handle me. Let's see first she said I was high as a kite?!?!? She has called people other than employees to come to my house to " Handle Me" whatever that means. Let's see she threatened to send the Sheriff if I didn't pay for my damaged furniture right now. She blocked my drive way so I couldn't leave. She accused me of "stealing the couch" mind you I ordered the couch just a month ago and they delivered it and damaged it, ripped it up bringing it in and then the workers didn't even report it...I had to report it. He offered to pick up the washer and send it to their service center. When they came to pick it up they had a loaner washer, I had not asked for one but James provided it free of charge. It took about a month to get my washer back, they dropped it off and took the loaner all at NO charge to me! I can't say enough good things about James and this rent a center location!
