The repairman who came out was very efficient & candid about what had happened & what needed to be done. It ended up being a particular fuse that sat immediately behind the control panel had failed, & it just required replacement. There was an entire litany of things that could've gone wrong with it, & he could've quoted me on several of those things, replaced them & charged me exorbitantly for the parts & labor. But... he did not. He was very honest with me & even educated me a little while he checked other parts ( mainly a different fuse on the back of the oven ) to make sure they were functional before he left. After 3 weeks (Sept 5, 2025) of ZERO communication from them (I was the one calling and chasing them!) On top of that, it wasn't even what they said it was, it ended up being a $100 fix not the "about $900" (unofficial verbal quote) that they guy threw out there. Second incident happened last month (April 8, 2026). We had another claim for our freezer, guy came out and looked at it, told us it needed a part and that he would submit the info to the warranty co. and be back with us in 24-48 hrs. He collected the service call fee and was in the wind from there. I called them several times through the course of the month. Again they NEVER called me to let me know what was up and never returned my calls. I got some lame excuse from the nice lady answering the phone about a dog dying... I get that and its sad but this is business. Either way, after a month of inaction on their part and several calls to the HWC they requested that the claim be reassigned (May 9, 2026). No call, no explanation and I am still stuck with a freezer that isn't working. This company is VERY unprofessional and unreliable. I suggest maybe asking your dad's, neighbors, dog to help you. The "LABOR warranty" means he will provide free labor to repair anything it needs within the warranty period to make it work, but you pay his price for any and all needed parts, even if it fails the day after you bought it! In other words, there is no warranty! I purchased a gas stove with a 30 day "labor warranty" for $407 on Thursday and installed it in a rental on Friday. The oven was used twice - Friday night and Saturday morning, but Saturday night the oven would not come on. Tested power outlet and no problems there. Took it back and they said they would check it out. When I came to pick it up they said it needed a new glow plug that would cost me $65! He claimed they must have turned it on and used it to heat the house because the glow plug was burnt up! What a ridiculous accusation! I suggested he should at least back up his merchandise for ONE DAY! That made him mad, so he carted it to the parking lot, dumped it on the ground behind my truck and walked off. Wouldn't even help me load it in the truck! So much for customer service! In my 40 years of managing rental properties I've never been treated so rudely by a store owner!
