Purchased an LG washer dryer set from Kayla on Wednesday of last week for Friday delivery. Dryer was DOA and installer said they would call me by end of the day to schedule a swap for Saturday. Did not hear from Lowes until Sunday at 3PM stating that the dryer was out of stock until the end of August and would it be OK to replace it then. Yes, absolutely I told them, my family won't need to wash clothes for at least a month. Seriously, they don't care about their customers....I told them to come get both units and I will never ever do business with Lowes again on anything. Do Not use Lowe's Edmond, OK Installation or delivery services! Our daughter recently purchased a dishwasher from Lowe's and ordered it with stated "free Installation with the purchase of an installation kit". However, even though she paid for the installation kit, they came to her home 2 different times, but the dishwasher never got installed. She had to pay extra for someone to come install her dishwasher because Lowes would not come out and take care of it. The first time they came out they told her because she did not have the old dishwasher uninstalled, they could not remove it. The second time they came out they said they could remove the old one since she got it out herself in just a few minutes but they could not install the new one. Save yourself a lot of heartache and use Weathers TV and appliance - they can get it all done in one short visit. read more

The management team had very little care or concern. We filed a claim and were told we would hear back from them within 24 hours.... Nothing! If I could have selected 0 stars I would have. We decided to use Lowes for our kitchen remodel and I will never use Lowes again. They do not care about their customers. I'm not sure if it is a lack of training for employees or what. Every time we would call to see the status of our countertops no one could answer our questions. After 3 months they blamed the contractor then made us come back and pick out different countertops. When we finally got that installed they came to install my cooktop and it was broken. They sent me a message that the new cooktop was at the store and to give the installation team 10 days to contact me. My husband called the store and they said it wasn't in yet. I called the store a day later after talking to corporate and they said I should just call the installation team. So I did. They said Lowes had never contacted them that my cooktop was in. Thankfully they have offered to install it today. If I hadn't called we would be eating takeout for Thanksgiving this year. All the contractors that were used by Lowes acted like this is an ongoing problem with Lowes. We will never do business there again. We also left them a review and after we told them how disappointed we were they sent us a message that our review was invaluable to them so they wouldn't be using it!! read more

I have a construction project happening this year in 2020. Because of Covid the construction workers are saying it takes longer. I was sent to buy a sink and did not understand that the base of the sink needed to be attached. Lowe's will not return it with a receipt because it is over 30 days. They do not care that there is a panda medic rep if havoc The $70 means much more to me than this giant company- the sink is still on floor- I recommend not shopping here Edmond Ok Lowe's - very difficult - yelp has a sticker that pops up before a review about covid and being flexible- Lowe's should take this advice read more

A pleasant trip turned sour. We stopped into Lowe's of Edmond off 2nd today to get some matching mulch to what was previously purchased at a steal of a price for our front garden bed. To our surprise we came across some clearance marked garden edging. Was $54 marked to $13 and some change. Not thinking anything of our trip total until on our way to the car, I glanced at the receipt to see we were charged $67 and some change for the edging. And that is with our military discount. Upon bringing it up to the cashier he said I can't do anything about it and directed me to customer service to have them credit the difference. That's a pretty noticeable $50+ difference. As my husband loaded up our items in the car I went to customer service where I was greeted by a rep to help me remedy the issue. The rep called upon someone in garden to verify the price of our edging who took an exceptionally long time to price check the item. During that time a teenage girl attempted to return/exchange an item for her mother who was in the car to no avail. The other customer service rep instructed her that her mother would have to come inside and show id for the exchange/return. Upon the teenage girls departure from the store to retrieve her mother both customer service reps began speaking poorly of her and chalking her frustration up to teenage angst. Then the mother comes in and shows id. She is clearly flustered but cordial in her interaction rightfully so as she stated she had 3 young children in the car and it was a bit ridiculous that she needed to come inside considering her daughter had presented a receipt for the return/exchange. When she left the building both customer service reps spoke poorly of her attitude and parenting style right in front of me a paying customer. I have two young children myself and I know I would be infuriated to learn that Lowe's employees were speaking ill of me as a customer. Finally the garden center employee reported back to customer service that my chosen edging was placed in the wrong spot above a clearance tag. Mind you, there was 2-3 rolls of this edging in the location when we picked it up and I'm fairly certain that the clearance tag read correctly. The customer service rep then proceeded to say that she would call the manager to see if he would honor the clearance. After a 2 second chat he said no. I was then given no other options. Not a hey do you want to return this or exchange for something else just sorry you're out of luck essentially. At this point I was so frustrated with the interaction I just took the edging and left. I didn't have anymore time to spend communicating with people that clearly do not care about their jobs or the customers that they serve. I mean if the customer service reps are talking crap about employees and their parenting styles and another employee is walking past the customer service desk on her personal cellphone, it makes sense that the manager probably can't be bothered to put his Instagram scroll down from his air conditioned office long enough to come out and help his employees/customers. This is not the first time I've been surprised at checkout by items marked with mis-advertised prices. The same thing happened about 2 months ago with a water hose. It's clear that Lowe's does not value to tidiness of their stores or customer relations at all. After having purchased thousands of dollars of flooring from the establishment, I am beyond disappointed. I think we will continue to utilize Home Depot of Edmond off broadway for our weekend home improvement trips from now on. We visit there frequently and have never had anything close to the multiple negative experiences I've had with this Lowe's location. In addition I can assure you that I will share my experience with anyone who is willing to listen to ensure they spend their money at a business that will appreciate them doing so. read more

NEVER USE THIS LOWE'S!!! We have had a horrible time with them. We bought a refrigerator and ice maker kit back in October. We are still battling with them to get the right equipment! The ice maker does not plug into the fridge. Every time we call we either get transferred or hung up on. So we had to physically go to the store and the problem still isn't fixed. Obviously they don't care about the customers. As long as they get the sale, who cares. read more

Perhaps something is driving change. I had a chance to purchase some milling products - casing and molding - and a ticket was totally messed up. CUstomer Service identified the error within minutes and accurately and quickly fixed everything on the order within minutes. They are doing well here in my opinion. read more

Tried 4 shopping carts, all had a broken wheel or two. Hand sanitizer was broken. Some of the fromt doors wouldn't open. Cars didn't stop at the stop sign out front and were nearly running people over. Products are overpriced and cheaply made. Had to return items that didn't work at all. read more

I am so tired of the INCOMPETENCE at this store. Why does it take five (5) store employees to find one (1) item clearly listed on their web site? The web site even lists the aisle and row! Why does this customer know how to use the web site to locate items, and five (5) store employees don't?! Here's my latest story, which prompted this review: I purchased quite a bit of lumber for my ranch. I had my trailer with me and planned to load it all myself, but they didn't have 62 sticks of wood low enough for me to pick -- they had hundreds of sticks on the top shelf, where nobody could get to it... So, they tell me they will pick it and ship it to my house for $20. That sounds good to me, so I agree... At checkout, they can't figure out how to give me my 10% off coupon. This takes four (4) employees to figure out! They ring me up without the discount, and have me pay for it. I question the absence of the 10% discount. They try to force the 10% discount, void the entire transaction, put the money back on my credit card, ring it all up again... This time it is MORE money than last time!!! That's when we discover shipping is $65 -- not $20. Oh well -- too bad -- I'm already on the hook... So I pay (again), and set up delivery for the next day. There is NOTHING in writing that says when the wood will be delivered -- the receipt just says "2 Delivery Fee $65"... The next day, I call to confirm delivery -- guess what? I'm not in the delivery list! The Lowe's employee tells me they have nothing to deliver on Saturday morning, so they will deliver it then... Saturday morning, I call to confirm delivery. Once again, I am not on the delivery schedule. After talking with four (4) Lowe's employees, I finally get a manager who actually defends Lowe's and puts the blame back on me!!! She scheduled the delivery for NEXT Saturday! So, now I have lost a full 10 days on my project, due to the absolute INCOMPETENCE at Lowe's!!! I have been a loyal Lowe's customer for 20 years -- after this experience, I will no longer use Lowe's -- I will spend my money at their competitors! read more

After a lengthy phone conversation I was told everything was set and was scheduled for April 6th between 8am & 8pm. I waited all day and nothing was delivered. I called this Lowes back after getting a call about scheduling an interview. I had worked at an amazing Lowes in another state before and thought this one would be just as amazing. I talked to 3 people on the phone, customer service, then to a manager and then was transferred to another manager. Every person i talked to sounded more and more miserable on the phone. The last manager I spoke with, he sounded like he would rather be doing anything else in the world than talking to me on the phone. I almost just told him never mind, you literally couldn't pay me to work there. I scheduled an interview and never went. After reading the reviews on this website I am glad I didn't go. It's a big box home improvement retailer. They have nearly everything you will need for your project, but you may have a hard time finding what you're looking for or anyone to help you. If you know exactly what you are doing and what you need then this place is okay. If you need a little help with your project then I'd recommend a smaller store like Ace. read more

Horrible service. Most of the employees purposely avoid eye contact and the ones you can stop just say "i'll page someone". It took an hour to get a deep freeze down off the rack. Then the assistant manager who got it down for me was walking to the front ran off. I had to load a $500 dollar freezer by myself. Big box stores I get but this was horrible. read more

Only giving 1 star so I can give review. Always preferred Lowes over Home Depot due to the military appreciation they always have when Home Depot was only doing it selectively...but no more, they have lost a customer forever. Short story: bought a fridge on Tuesday because ours died. Delivered on weds morning. Installers didn't completely connect the waterline correctly, so after it was "installed", my wife left for the day . When she got back, our living room, which shares a wall with the kitchen was completely flooded. Lowes said there was nothing they could do and a claims adjuster would be out within 72 working hours. Well, we couldn't wait that long, called Servpro who came out, pulled up the carpet, took out the padding, pulled off the baseboard trim and had to put in a dehumidifier and 5 fans. Well, today is Friday, still no adjuster...maybe Monday. Servpro called lowes to see if they could just handle it so we didn't have to, but lowes said NO...seriously. They want us to wait 5 days...I guess they want the mold to really set in so they can replace walls, floors, carpet, etc. So here we sit, fans still running (pay by the day...not to mention the electricity I'm sure they are pulling isn't insignificant), living room tore up, and no help.
