He came over and told me exactly what the problem was, the price and when he was available. His price was competitive and lower than others I had used in the past. Over the years he has provided professional, quality and technical service. Once I had a variety of problems he walked me through which I should fix first then perhaps wait on the others. In the end he fixed it completely. He's a patient listener, kind and extremely knowledgeable due to his long years of experience. He schooled me as to which chemicals to buy to maintain my spa. I most recently saw that my spa was leaking. I called him and he came right over the next day. Of course the spa was suddenly completely dry and showed no leaks. He had me fill the tub to its proper level of water. Suddenly it started leaking. He located the problem and fixed it I very highly recommend David for any of your spa needs.

He showed up with a small handheld pressure washer device and left so much microbead material in the pool that it chewed up my water pump vanes and pool sweep. Both had to be replaced. Well, Chris proved him wrong! He showed up in a big van with built-in equipment and cleaned the waterline and waterfall overflow making the pool look like new! His truck-mounted vacuum removed the majority of microbeads leaving leave our pool sweep and pump safe. Chris is polite, efficient, and hardworking. They were thorough and careful with diagnosing the key issue and also explained potential future pain points. The owner, Sam, came across as a little full of himself. He did perform some "repairs," but he did…read morenot fix the leak I originally hired him to repair. In fact, the repairs he performed did not appear to even be necessary. When I contacted him to let him know the hot tub was still leaking, he offered to return and locate the leak; but wanted to charge me an additional $289/hour to do so. Considering that fixing the leak was the reason I hired him in the first place, I found that price ridiculous. I gave Sam an opportunity to make the situation right; he declined. His defensive response to my concerns only reinforced my impression that he was more interested in the money and defending himself than resolving the problem for his customer. The difference with the new company I hired has been night and day. They were far more professional and actually fixed the leak for a fraction of what Sam quoted me. They also seemed genuinely interested in solving the problem rather than simply running up the bill. I rarely post reviews, but I felt this experience deserved an honest one. Based on my experience, I would not use Sam's services again. Consumer beware.

A trusted referral led me to Thomas Pools, and I was able to meet with Ron (their designer/sales consultant) the same day. Ron arrived promptly and was extremely professional. He struck a great balance between being friendly and efficient. He took detailed measurements and, unexpectedly, also proposed handling the hardscape, drainage, and retaining walls for both my backyard and front yard. His broader vision beyond just the pool really stood out. What impressed me most was how clearly he explained the project and how quickly he sketched out the entire design by hand on the spot.
