Needed a water heater replacement and a hose bib repair. Called the office, they had a service team come out rite away. Charlie and Jr. Over viewed the situation and promptly put together a pull limitary estimate. At first I thought Wow!! That's a little pricey!! After agreeing to the price they rolled up their sleeves and to work. After a few stumbling blocks and other needed repairs that were pointed out and well explained the repair price was revised and I agreed to continue with the repairs need so the items would not have to be addressed in the near future. The guys ran and collected all the parts needed and returned and after a long hot 90* day. They completed this project! These guys did a wonderful job A+ .. So we just had Western Rooter out like a week or two ago and they did a great job. Totally unrelated to our hot water tank issue we started noticing a damp dank smell in one of our bathrooms. The joys of a 1950's house. We also had a drainpipe on the back porch from the previous owner that we wanted capped off to modern standards. Justin could arrive early but he did not show up unexpectedly he called to make sure that it was okay for him and Diego to arrive early. Then long story short - once again Western Rooter came through. Justin and Diego were great. They cleared the drain on the back porch (which probably hadn't been done ever) and shortened the pipe and capped it to stop any overflow. Then they crawled under the house and reported back with video to explain that the smell could be coming from decaying cast iron pipes that were improperly connected to ABS. Justin also explained that it could also be a faulty vented pipe. However, he explained that it's difficult to determine the exact root cause of where the sewer gas was coming from. However, he explained in detail why we should deal with the horizontal issues before exploring vertical pipe issues. I am always skeptical of someone trying to take advantage of me, but Justin went over every step he recommended and explained why it was important. After they installed the new pipe, he secured it so there wouldn't be any movement. He and Diego tested everything and then cleaned up like they had never been here. Justin also showed us a video of the completed job. We were not happy that we had such a large, unexpected expense, however, we're confident that the job was completed thoroughly and it was the best solution for our problem. He was able to pinpoint the issue we had with our shower from our leak and got to work right away! Very nice and easy going, he was kind and helpful throughout the whole process. As usual Western Rooter came through again. Had I not been in a panic in December I would have called them and should have. Was told by another major national chain I needed $10,000 in sewer work. While I might, that did not help me then nor now. I needed a quick fix. Today is March 20th 2026 and they came out yesterday. It was Renee and Cameron and they were here an hour and a half. Listened to every single thing I had to say and said the best place to start is with a new toilet. They were spot on and the new toilet works beautifully. Also note that they didn't even install it. They were happy to install, but I tried to save money and I did. Western Rooter is the best plumbing service I've ever used and I've used them at least 10 times. Received a visit, for fixing the shut-off valve, but required additional services look for the leak in my home.

Long story short, my AC died during the heat wave last week bc the drain pipe was clogged. I called them in the morning and they came out in the afternoon. The HVAC guy didn't install an access point so they had to cut some of the pvc pipes to unclog everything. I was basking in the AC by dinner time. The pricing was fair and upfront. Problems with water heater which was replaced in april'25 by Western Rooter and stopped working in end of July/beginning of august of this year. They were able to fix the issue but charge an additional fee for fixing the issue when I already spent so much money for replacement. Leaving town tomorrow and found water leaking from my boiler last night. Called and they came this morning. Out of the two guys that came, I dealt with Flaco Z. This time my garbage disposal was leaking and Alberto came out. He's friendly, professional, and thorough. He explained everything he was doing to me, asked for permission to make a small cut in the wall under our sink, replaced a piece of the p-trap where our existing piece had a chip in the threaded part. We had an issue with our sewer line being filled with roots from all the rain we have had. The roots created a clog.
