Then tried saying my son attacked her! He absolutely got in her face and yelled at her. But never once touched her! They then proceeded to try and not allow the wedding party to get their belongings from the rooms they paid $500 to use! Worst experience and completely ruined the wedding.

Yellowstone was our countries 1st designated national park, with 3% in Montana. In 1901, Glacier National Park was declared the Crown Jewel of the Continent by conservationists. Before Lewis and Clark, fur traders, gold hunters, and homesteaders, the land that would become Montana was home to several Indigenous tribes, each with its own traditions, cultures, stories, religions, languages, and histories. Today, twelve are recognized as sovereign nations within seven established reservations. Many historical Indigenous sites remind usof their ties to the land and the battles they fought to protect it. We visited Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument, Custer's Last Stand from 1876. This was an Indian victory and an Army defeat here. The Buffalo Jump State Park is where tribes chased herds over the edge of a cliff as a mass hunting technique. The Museum of the Plains Indian preserved thousands of artifacts; clothes, weapons, household items ... In 1854, North America's first dinosaur remains were found in Montana . Since, 75 other dinosaur species , more than any other state, have been discovered here, the oldest dating back 155 million years. Montana is a ranching & rodeo state. "A River Runs Through It" highlights fly fishing here. Tourism brings $750 million annually here. Montana has 32 million acres of public lands with more hiking trails than any other state. Just Go (#15) April…read more2014 was our first time visit to The Big Sky Country... SNOW! we stayed at our WorldMark timeshare in West Yellowstone but the closest entrance to Yellowstone National Park was closed for the season. The only entrance was through the North Entrance which was some 3-1/2 hours drive from the West Entrance. The drive through Montana was scenic and beautiful though. July 2021 we visited three National Parks in neighboring states MT and WY. One of them was Glacier National Park at West Glacier. This park is a year-round paradise with alpine scenery and deep valleys. At the time of our vacation we had to go online and purchase an Entry Reservation Ticket to be able to enter and tour the "Going-to-the-Sun Road" route. Hubby booked this tour weeks early and we were lucky to get in. Other cars were turned away -- no ticket. In mid-July there were still melting ice in high elevation areas which resulted in many scenic waterfalls along the way including a roadside Weeping Wall. This park is H-U-G-E and the Going-to-the-Sun Road runs through the heart of Glacier National Park... we stopped at landmarks and turnouts and enjoyed views of massive U-shaped valleys. We love our National Parks but I told my hubby not to plan 3 parks in one trip! He thinks we're still young! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ When visiting Glacier National Park you are close to the Canadian Border. You can cross the border and check out Waterton Lakes National Park on the Canada side. Um, but please bring your U.S. Passport... your National Parks passport will not work. LoL! FOOD! Aside from the beautiful mountain ranges, prairie terrain and badlands... Montana is a meat-lovers heaven! Buffalo burgers, bison sausage patties, 9-oz hamburger steaks... and for dessert -- moose tracks ice cream! We enjoyed shopping, dining and lodging at Downtown Bozeman. Thank you Great State of Montana. Untamed, Wild and Natural! Review #2466

My father inlaw bought a horse at the sale on 6/22/19 sellers being Aspen Ranch out of Valley…read moreSprings, South Dakota. That night he had dropped the horse off at our house and asked my husband to ride him to see how he was. 10 minutes into him riding the horse he put him in a trot and there was a very obvious limp. We couldn't get ahold of a vet on Sunday as this was not an "emergency" and we knew we needed to get this done by Monday at noon to have any sort of money compensation. They picked the horse up early Monday and off to Billings they went to try and get this done. They called the sale and asked for their vets number and was given a number and had people meet them. My husband got on the horse and rode it bareback and the lady kept saying she didn't see the limp. He saddled him up and put him in a trot and sure enough there it was. In the time between this my father in-law asked which one was the vet to which they replied neither. This was the whole purpose... to get the vet to check the horse. It was the manager of the sale, Jann. She was very direct to them "Kyle" from Aspen ranch would never sell a horse or bring a horse like that to the sale. After all, Jan, is very proud that they sell good horses. "OUR SOUNDNESS GUARANTEE: Credibility and Dependability are important to us" - direct from their web page. Anyway, they make a deal since the vet wasn't there like they had planned noon was approaching, the sellers took half off and were told they didn't have their normal farrier trim and shoe the horse and so chalked it up as he was sore from being trimmed. Straight from Billings they drove to Montana Equine in Three Forks. We get him x-rayed. Turns out this horse has navicular and has had it for YEARS. The VERY reputable vet said there is no way the previous owner could not of known. My problem comes with the sale manager here - when I called her to tell her of this issue she would NOT let me talk. I had to talk louder and louder just to get a word in. I'm assuming she thought I wanted money back when in fact I thought her being a "reputable" person would want to know who is coming through her sale. We love the horse, he will be fine for what we need him for. Aspen Ranch has multiple better business bureau complaints (found this out after the fact) for doing the same thing - Google will allow you to see. Jann wanted nothing to do with hearing me out about this. She kept defending "Kyle" saying he would never do that. ANY horse person with experience would know the moment they got on that horse in a trot there was an issue. If this were an isolated case that would be different, but its not. She did not care. She hung up on me then called me RIGHT back to let me know when I could talk to her "rationally" then I could call back. No thanks, Jann. My family and I will take our money and go with honest DEPENDABLE people from now on. I hope this can help someone else out in the future. Its a great place for a seller. This lady will have your back, clearly. But buyers beware.

The food was good not great , breakfast was served warm not hot . I liked the road side dinner feel of the restaurant. If your in a hurry I'd look elsewhere for a quick breakfast, I'll give them another try for breakfast again at some point before I decide to keep them on or off the breakfast rotation list

Okay. Wow. I understand why this unlikely spot has great reviews…read more It's located in the Livestock Commission building and depending on the time of day or year, you might be dodging piles of stuff in the parking lot, so you know it's an authentic experience. The cattle and horse trailers can take up a good share of the parking lot. It's an unassuming cafe, no frills really, but its meant for the business of the building it's located in. If you want fancy, move along. What Hitt's the Spot does well is the food. And the genuine interest in the customers. It obvious the regulars, both the workers and the customers have dealt with each other on a routine basis. You can't fake that comraderie. Having stopped in for breakfast and at a loss as to what option sounded best, I was directed to the corned beef hash. I was told it was house-made and that was good enough for me. I wasn't disappointed. First, the portions are not skimpy. It was large chunks of corned beef, nicely shredded potatoes and large pieces of onion. There was no mistaking this for the hash out of a can, either by appearance or taste. I look forward to coming by to try some other things.
