This USED to be one of my favorite greenhouses and I'd visit often. One of the highlights of the year was visiting and purchasing flowers around Mother's day. I'm sad to say this is no longer the case and the last couple years I've found problems with their offerings and their pricing. Last year I was startled to see Nana's selling zinnia plants that had obviously been exposed to herbicide (when questioned why they would sell even sell these and at full price to boot, staff claimed that the damage would right itself--but as a very experienced gardener, I know that claim was misleading at best). This year, 2025, I found many of their veggie plant offerings in dreadful overgrown condition or alternately, very tiny. Despite this, I happily purchased a rose bush for $40 only to find when I brought it home for replanting that what I'd ACTUALLY purchased was a bare root rose that someone at Nana's had put in a large pot and filled in the space with potting soil (i.e. MINIMAL root development). I guess I'll make the best of this purchase (since of course all sales are final)...but I definitely feel like I was cheated in what I paid for. Had I wanted a bare root rose, I would have purchased one from any number of sources for less than half the price I paid for this. Shame on you Nana--you had so much promise and used to be great. And, while I realize the cost of everything has gone up, why are you so set on keeping up with Gainan's pricing schedule (ugh)? read more

I would like to share my experience from 2016. It was about this time ten years ago. I was planning my wedding which was to be held in my backyard May 22. I called Nana's Bloomers and scheduled a meeting before the regular opening date. I wanted to have annuals as full and beautiful as possible for our special day. The owner immediately understood and had suggestions as well. My pots and planters were planted soon after our meeting and nurtured until shortly before the wedding. The flowers were spectacular!! I am grateful to this day for the ease I had creating a beautiful backyard to us to celebrate our union. As we celebrate 10 years this May, we will be reminiscing over photos, many of which captured your beautiful creations! Thanks again! read more

This place rocks, they have the best selection in the entire state from what I have seen and they grow them all here in these greenhouses. The quality is also the best as they are constantly hand trimming them to get the best looking and strongest roots for consistent and long term success once I take them home, unlike the chains who use chemicals to get them to bloom early but do nothing to promote strong roots. read more

Great selection. Has great sales at certain times of the season as well! I always make them a stop every season to help fill my garden beds.

I've only been a handful of times but always found what I was looking for. The have a good variety of plants for our neck of the woods.
