I changed my mind several times resulting in several changes to the contract. David was patient and never showed any signs of frustration with my changes. He was helpful making suggestion for improving on my ideas. David was on-site everyday reviewing the plans for the day with me and the crew and checking the status of work. Everyday David made sure everything was done to my satisfaction. When I had questions, he would immediately address the question and make whatever change or touch-up I wanted. The crew was always on-time and cleaned up after their work. They were easy to work with and were great about touching base with me if there were any questions about the work being performed or any unexpected hiccups that arose such as an unexpected large roots to ensure the work was being done the way I wanted. I love how everything looks and my neighbors haven't stopped complementing my yard. They even commented about how clean everything looked when they finished and how respectful they were regarding neighbor's parking areas and space. After watching them work on my property for a week, one of my neighbors asked for their number to hire David himself. I would absolutely hire David and his team again. Here's a summary of the work his team performed. Excavated, removed, and replaced broken drainage line in the yard. Relocated large boulders from backyard to front yard planting area. Removed shrubs, concrete parking pad, and extra material from the site including old veggie beds, grassy areas being converted to mulch, and weeds. Installed 2 gravel paths, gravel sitting area, 2 retaining walls, vegetable beds, irrigation lines, gravel RV parking area, gravel parking spot, 2 gravel storage areas, 2 drain lines under the gravel, additional river rock border around my grass, rock ring with boulder edge around tree, and planting strips along the driveway. Planted new, and relocated and planted numerous plants including bulbs, grasses, ferns, and shrubs. The bid was highly competitive and excellent value. I strongly recommend David and his team.

Robert, owner of Artistic Landscapes, and his lead team member, Sergio, made our landscaping dreams…read morecome true. We were more than pleased with the exquisite workmanship and the quality of the materials used and are certain Artistic Landscapes has added value to our home. Robert stayed on budget and all work was completed by him and his team in a timely fashion. It's already been said by other satisfied Yelpers, but Robert's vision for our yard exceeded our expectations by leaps and bounds. We discussed our design preferences with him such as colors, types of plants and trees we favored, and Robert took all that in to consideration when he transformed our yard into the best in the neighborhood. He created a natural dry creek bed and slate walkway (see before and after pictures) that look like they have always been there, surrounded by a variety of trees, shrubs, and flowers that are perfect for our climate. We also had a drip irrigation system installed and accent LED lighting that beautifully illuminates his landscape masterpiece every evening. Our yard is basically no maintenance or fuss. OK, a little weeding once in a while. We were so pleased with the front yard, we asked Robert to spruce up our backyard too. He and his team, headed by Sergio, installed a drip irrigation system, accent lights, new bark dust, and a few well placed plants. Robert suggested a change on the side of our house and designed a walkway that makes it easier -and safer- to access that side of our house. Everyday, Sergio and his crew cleaned up the work area before leaving for the day (even cleaning up anything that may have drifted onto our neighbor's property). They were always respectful and professional and arrived on time everyday and went above and beyond what was expected. And during the whole process, my beloved Little Free Library remained in place and open for business. Needless to say, we think our property looks stunning! We've had total strangers knock on our door just to tell us how much they love the yard! We do too. You won't be sorry hiring Robert and Artistic Landscapes.

Artistic Landscapes was fantastic to work with. When Robert came out to provide the bid, he explained everything in detail, and we were kept informed throughout the process. They even started the job early. Jeve and his crew did a fantastic job removing the old wall and fencing, building the new block retaining wall, and setting new fence posts. The original retaining wall ran right up to the property line with the fence attached to it. We wanted the new fence to follow the property line, so the new wall was set slightly back from the property line with enough room that we can easily take care of any weeds that may grow between the fence and wall. Bonafacio and his crew built a beautiful new fence and gate. He also installed our gate so it would open wider than the old one. Both crews kept the work site extremely clean and they were very work-from-home friendly with the only noise heard was them working. Robert came after the job was done to do a final inspection of both the work and job site cleanup. He also gave us information on how to care for the new fence and retaining wall. I would not hesitate to use Artistic Landscapes again.
