The price was very reasonable for the originally planned work, but in the end it turned out to be a great value for everything they did to get it perfect for us. Jesus is extremely nice and approachable, and he was excellent with communication and check-ins. As soon as they finished the backyard landscaping job today, I signed another contract for them to do our fencing, and we're planning on having them back to improve our sprinkler system next Spring.

They didn't want to fix what they did and now I'm left to pick up the pieces. They just tell you what you want to hear to make money. I designed plans to rip out the grass and put in a small stone wall, patio seating, and low-maintenance plants. Brandon took those amateurish ideas of mine and created a wonderful suburban oasis for us to enjoy. Now, instead of uneven, perennially-dried out, boring turf we have a four-season, two-tier, water-wise landscape that I am SO stoked about. Brandon sourced all the materials and did all the labor himself (aside from a few hours I contributed to moving around some dirt and planting some of the plants, see photo). He also installed a flagstone patio, a gravel path, and some stone steps built into the wall as an entryway from the street and converted our sprinkler system into drip. Took about a month though he was not on site every day or full time. I appreciated that he kept the site neat (sweeping the sidewalk clean after each day's work) and that he sent me regular updates and requests for my input (what kind of plants -- from a list -- did I like/not like, for instance). He has a good sense of humor too and is nice to talk to!

So today I was able to catch him out front and ask if he mowed my lawn last week, he said yes, and I asked him about it and he tried to tell me it's been unlocked the whole time. NO. It was locked all week and the keys were GONE. I told him to show me, and at some point they unlocked it and still kept the key. When I asked where our key was, he actually pulls his keys out of his pocket and removes my key and locks the box again and gave it back. When I asked why he stole my key, he had no words and his hands were shaking. Why in the world would your guys change sprinkler timers and lock homeowners out of their own boxes and KEEP THE KEY??? Got his plate number. I would love an explanation and for your people to not even touch my sprinkler anymore. Can't even believe I got one of your thieves to admit it, what a great day!
