My job was large and difficult as it was located on top of a hill with my fence separating my back yard Perrenial Garden and an invading 400 ft row of 25-30ft trees. The neighbor had topped the trees and they responded by growing sideways. The job was to return the trees to the original topped height and bring them in to the fence line making them look like a manicured hedge. There were 3 trucks and all work was done by climbers passing limbs to a ground crew on my side. I was impressed by the organization and crews ability to work in my extensive garden without damaging it. Some of the limbs were 5" and lowered by rope. My fence and garden survived. Cleanup perfect and trees filled in perfectly for both my neighbor and I. Crew and Forman easy to work with, saw my vision and took an interest in what the were doing. We had a giant tree fall down in early Jan. The tree was not only in our yard but also our neighbors. We received a quote for our portion of the tree removal and it was reasonable and in line with a few other quotes. The worker were fast and very hurried. We had 3 large trees cut down. The trunks were dropped in the lawn and left 8 inch deep holes in many places, while the tree trunks were swinging in the air before dropping, tree branches broke off 2 rhododendrons and broke off 1/2 our 35 year old magnolia tree. 9/2022: We were very glad that Eduardo's team was available to come take down five trees in our yard. We knew it wouldn't be an easy job, especially since two of the trees were quite close to the pump house and another was pretty much hollowed out all the way up. As before, they were fantastic. This was a larger job and they brought the expertise, skill, and equipment for it! We watched mesmerized as one guy shinnied up a tree and started cutting it off from the top. A couple others got the crane in place (not a simple feat to level it) so that they could lift the top of the tree when it was cut rather than letting it fall (e.g. on the pump house.) I hired them, they did exactly what I asked them...cut down 8 large tall trees (Sequoias and Pines) and ground the stumps. I could not believe they could cut the trees in mostly one day...all very precise and professional. They cleaned everything up. They returned later to grind the stumps. (weather and tree storms delayed but that was ok by us due to other people needing help during this time). Eduardo's did not even ask for payment until absolutely everything was done. He likely will give you a discount if you have multiple things for his team to work on compared to if you just have one item or two. There is no reason to use any tree service company other than Eduardo's. The work he did on our backyard was nothing short of fantastic!! We had about 9 large invasive Laurel Wood bushes that took up the majority of our yard and most other companies we tried to get quotes from said they didn't want to do it. But not Eduardo.. His crew came in and did a great job removing the massive amount of shrubs and also pruned our fig tree as well. I cant recommend this company enough. We saw these guys working at our neighbors house doing some tree pruning. We decided to ask them about a quote to remove some 50' redwoods that we planted 17 years earlier. They had unfortunately gotten so big that they were making our roof mossy and our siding moldy. They were able to come in a couple days to cut them down not only that they got rid of all the limbs and left the firewood all cut into manageable rounds. 4 trees limbed, dropped, and 18" rounds stacked and organized in half a day absolutely awesome. I'm sure Eduardo's does a great job when it suits them but I was so disappointed with their response to my request for an estimate. I called them on a Friday and was told by a woman, "They will try to be there today and if not then tomorrow (Saturday) for sure." Well, Friday and Saturday came and went, followed by several other weeks and they didn't even have the decency to contact me. I began cutting down the large tree myself while waiting for an estimate from Eduardo's and I eventually had the entire tree taken down piece by piece and no longer need their "prompt" service. After all the good reviews I saw I was very disappointed with this service. I called the office 3 times indoor to get someone to help me. Then they forgot to put us on the schedule and set us back 3 weeks. The day they were to come they said between 8am and 10M. I heard nothing until I had called and left a message twice, and they said they had a crew member get into an accident and nit show up. They did not however call me to change the time or tell me what had happened. When I did receive a call back it was around 12:30 to let me know they would be th3re at 2:00pm. Had Eduardos remove 8 trees for us June12th. Most of the trees were quite large I would guess some 80 ft or more, Most near near fences as well as our home. They arrived on time and started work right away. These guys worked very hard throughout the whole day. They did take breaks. But when they were working, They were really working. I recently engaged several aborist services for estimates on removal of a leaning tree on my property that was over a busy road next to my house. Eduardo jr came out promptly within a day and gave me a quotation. After having to wait several days for other aborist services to come out to give addional quotations that were higher, I choose Eduardo's. The day that they came to take the tree down they were scheduled to be here at 1pm. They arrived at 12:58. Their office called me to let me know that they were outside and had begun work. The tree was 70 ft. tall and at least 5 ft around at the base. They removed the tree, chipped the branches and cut the tree into fireplace sized rounds in 41 minutes!! Great Job Guys! Not being in the aborist business but needing a service, I was impressed by the professionalism of the company, the prompt service and the reasonable price. Their honesty and integrity are second to none. I recently had them cut down a line of arborvitae on my property. We scheduled an appointment with this company to cut down our maple tree in the backyard .... they didn't show up at all ... after waiting for an hour I decided to call the company ... his wife told me she will call her husband and he will call me back ... after another 1/2 hour Eduardo called and told me he doesn't know what happened to his crew.. he cannot reach them so he will get out - they have been in an area where they have no reception and he will call me ... his wife called again, and told me that Eduardo will call me tomorrow morning to schedule a new appointment .... he never ever called back to reschedule and if I would rely on these people I would still waiting... They treaded us very poorly, no explanation what happened and no excuse .... but they think with a 5 * rating they own the world .. but let me tell you something: who's flying high is falling deep - and there is always somebody better, more professional and more interested as you ever can imagine .... because there's a big market outside ... Eduardo's Tree Service came out and gave me a free quote a few weeks ago. When I decided to go with his team they were able to get me on the schedule within two weeks. We had about 20 overgrown arborvitaes in our yard that needed to be trimmed way down. They were in and out within an hour, fair priced and very clean.
