The week prior to our appointment we received two emails reminding us of our tech arriving between 8am and 10am. At 9:55 the morning of our appointment no one had arrived or called us. We called their office to see why. No answer. I left a message and headed to bed, (I work nights and needed to sleep). 10 minutes later I got a call from All City stating that the tech had arrived but wasn't able to access our neighborhood due to our security gate. The lady on the phone told me that I didn't include a proper phone number when setting up my appointment. The control box at our entry gate lists all homeowners and a way to contact us. The tech never called me. There is also an unlocked walk through gate the tech could use to access our neighborhood and walk 150 yards to my front door. The tech never thought or tried this simple idea. The lady who called me seemed more interested in pointing out how I was responsible for their tech not being able to get to our home than apologizing for the fact their tech hadn't arrived. She made no effort to find a way to get our fireplace serviced. Do yourself a favor and not use All City Fireplace. They are not focused on taking care of customers.

I spoke with Darrel , owner. I told him I would pay the billed price for the auger motor which retails for $89.99. they need a profit margin which I understand. But they said nothing about a $350 service fee. Darrel states the customer should have asked.... first he offers a $100 discount then offers 50% discount to $315 and tells me do business elsewhere. I bought this stove from this business and have had them do all the service for over 30 years. NEVER AGAIN. Dishonest business/people.

It was bumped up against a copper wire and literally melting. He quickly repaired that, explaining as he went along. Discovered some other glitches and needed to come back a second time, in 2 days with an ordered part that he replaced. Now the heater is working correctly and that was well worth the money. I liked the office staff and their excellent communication skills. Highly recommend their service.

I'm embarrassed to say we've never had the fireplace serviced in the 25 years we've been in our home. I didn't realize it was something that should be done. Now I know! I moved the logs around to vacuum it out and could not figure out how to put the logs back properly in place. I called Perfect Temp and spoke with Amber. She was very friendly and knowledgable and made an excellent first impression as a representative of the company. I called a different place in Olympia earlier in the same day and the rep was condescending and kind of a jerk. I called Perfect Temp on Monday, 1/13/25. They had a cancellation and were able to come the next morning. Xxxxx arrived a couple minutes early. He was friendly and wasn't bothered by our little dogs barking at him. He got right to it. We were astounded when he finished. The fireplace looks brand new and runs like a charm. Instead of dusty, loud, inefficient and not pretty; we now have an immaculately clean beautiful, quiet fireplace, with a really nice fire. We are impressed enough with this one visit, that we are going to sign up for annual maintenance for our fireplace, heating/cooling and whatever other services they offer. Scheduled for a Monday and unfortunately the person who could do it wasn't able to look at it and we rescheduled for Wednesday. Nick came and took a look, inspected it, got on the roof, cleaned the stove out. Everything was good and he answered questions we had about lighting it for the first time and what we should use in it. Wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be.
