A great group to work with. I love all my stone projects and products I have purchased through them.

I need to update my review. After writing this review on yelp, I was contacted by the owner who…read moreapologized and offered to make things right. They delivered product to me free of charge and were apologetic for what happened. This is the customer service I have always received from Great Western Supply and I am happy to know that the owner truly cares about their customers enough to take the comments to heart, correct the issue, and and make it right. I am happy and will continue to do business with Great Western Supply. ******************************** I am very frustrated by my experience today. I have been a long time customer and have always had a pickup to transport my own bark. We no longer have a truck and instead of bugging friends to borrow one we decided to just have our two yards of bark delivered.. We scheduled the delivery for 12:30 today but I received a voice mail message at work at 1030 saying they could deliver earlier however my husband had already arranged to take time off work at 12:30 to meet the driver (which they require). To our surprise, we got a call from our contractor who was working on our home advising they were there (at 1130 - and they had not even talked to us to confirm the change) and had delivered our "yard of bark". I was a little worried that he said a yard instead of the two I ordered but waited to get home and look for myself. Had my husband been there as THEY had arranged he most likely would have been able to say something right then. Maybe some of it stuck in the bed of the truck and not all of it came out? When I got home there was a small pile of bark in our driveway. It was definitely not 2 yards. I called the store and asked if there had been a mix up. I was put on hold for several minutes and the lady helping said she spoke to the loader and he "thought" it was 2 yards but to talk to the driver. The lady (Sage) said she would talk to the driver and call me back. I waited for an hour and 45 minutes for a call back and received no call (they are now closed for the day). Meanwhile we are ready to get started on our project and clearly there won't be enough since we didnt get the full 2 yards. We know what a yard looks like, we have bought bark many times before as home owners. Even our contractor said it did not appear to be 2 yards. So we paid 55.00 just for delivery of the bark (steep delivery for less than 5 miles away btw). We will now have to pay to have more delivered, find a truck, or be short on our project. 108.00 later total and ...........we will not be completing our project. NEVER again. Next time we will borrow a truck, or rent one (it would be cheaper) and we won't be going back to Great Western Supply. A phone call back would have shown that they even cared a little bit about us as customers.

I was ordering them not a contractor. This was a whole kitchen remodel. I get all the cabinets and they are in small boxes!!! 4600 dollars and I a supposed to do the assembly. Nope we had to return them they did. The one older gentleman in the front was saying how easy they were to put together. While thr kids In the back were saying they are a pain to put together. Then he offered to give me step by step instructions. So he gave me cabinets without instructions. So we returned them bought beautiful same white shaker cabinets assembled at home depot for less!!!! For less!!!!! Then we buy butcher block counter tops and we had to go and order another 10foot one left at the store cause we didn't have room. Went to go back a week later the suckers sold it to some other customers!!!!! The nerve they have. They told us we should have come back sooner. We have a 30 day hold! Now they can't get another one for 3 to 4 weeks! So very disappointed with this company! We have spent a lot of money at this company in windows, doors, and flooring! And this is the treatment we get!!!

After visiting their shop and viewing the slabs and getting estimates with very reasonable and competitive prices, we decided to use them. Everyone at their shop was friendly and knowledgeable and worked with us to get the right materials for the look we wanted and to stay within our budget. They did our bathroom countertops, a laundry room sink top, and also the kitchen cabinet and island countertops. They did such a fantastic job on all countertops, we also hired them to install the tile around our fireplace and kitchen backsplash. I will post another review soon for tile work along with the images of the kitchen countertops when the work is finished. We really liked that the owner worked with us on ideas that gave our kitchen island some contrast to the other kitchen countertops. He also made sure that the supports underneath the slab of the kitchen island was adequate. So on top of great prices, know-how, and excellent work done in a timely manner, we also got some style/design advice. We couldn't be happier with everything they've done. Stellar company, and we hope to work with them again in the future.

Demo- if you are removing old counters & backsplash, be prepared for some slight repairs & touch-ups on cabinets and / or trim. Also, they do not remove your existing faucet, garbage disposal, oven vent etc. Nothing plumbing or electrical. If you add tile on a wall where there previously was none, expect to need longer machine screws to put the outlets back. If they don't notch out the tile for the plate covers they will not be as flush. We found both of these things out the next day while trying to put the outlets back in & covers on. If using your existing sink, the sink clips may not fit with new counter. We had to remove sink & caulk under. I hope this gives some insight for others as we had no clue of the process going in.
