Two flights of beer. 3 per? Uh ok
    Kevin K.

Popped in on a Thurs late afternoon and walked right up to order. Grabbed 2 flights, was surprised it was 3 beers per flight. Rolled 6 different IPA and they were all a bit different. Some were more malty, some more fruity. Decent brews. Looking forward to continued variety. Options for wine are nice for the other halfs. Place was bright inside, wide open. Cool views of the brewing process. Beertender seemed a bit green and could smile a bit more but that didnt dim the experience. Figuring out parking took a moment but not bad. We'll be back.

Space is modern and lovely with a mix of indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty on the menu to try from plus they offer food. During my visit at Western Flyer it was definitely a family hangout with toddlers running around screaming.. not my sort of vibe while I just wanted to relax and have a beer.

We stopped in to try this new brewery, and the space looks spacious and clean. The seating layout feels a bit disjointed; some tables feature fixed benches paired with chairs, while others are just a few chairs around small tables in the center. The outdoor seating area seemed decent. They offer a good selection of beer pours at $10 each, but the food is pricey and falls short. A basic salad $20, and the $21 birria tacos consisted of bunched meat that lacked flavor. Service was good with the convenient order-at-the-register setup. It is a solid spot to grab a beer, but I would pass on the high-priced food.

This place is on point and only getting better. Great beer, great food, excellent service and super dog friendly. If you're looking for a casual yet upscale brewery where you can bring the kids, hang out with your dog, or meet your colleagues for a drink, this place has got it all. Best addition to Lafayette in recent years. Thank you Western Flyer!

Came here on a Friday night and it was packed, so seating was pretty limited. The space itself is beautiful though! Great atmosphere and a solid selection of beers, wines, and food options. I usually go for sour beers and was hoping to see at least one on the menu, but unfortunately they didn't have any during my visit. Still worth checking out for the vibe and variety!

The beer was good the guacamole was delicious however the sitting areas are not well designed. Only a few places to sit inside and then you have to grab a folding chair. I wish they had more fire pits outside as it was a little chilly and not a lot of places to sit and stay warm. I'm hoping as they get settled they get the set up a little better as it's a cool spot and has good beers.

I must update to a 5 now that their wine and food offerings have expanded. This place really has it all now, along with the friendliest service and a can't-be-beat ambiance. I anticipate a lot of visits in good weather.

Cool Vibe here at New Brewery!! Light bites and ample patio for an afternoon suds and bites. Average noise and plenty of beers to choose from. I had a Stout and it was delicious. Just opened and I'm looking forward to try more Beers and possibly food. Closed Monday and Tuesdays but open Weds-Sunday 2-9pm. Also has a self serve water station. Credit card and tap only, no cash accepted except gratuity.

Lafayette's newest brewery has officially opened its doors, and it delivers on the anticipation. It's a standout addition to the local scene and a strong signal that the Lamorinda brewpub community continues to evolve in all the right ways. The space feels fresh and thoughtfully designed--clean, modern, and welcoming. What i really enjoyed was the depth and creativity of the beer list. It goes well beyond the usual lineup, with several distinctive options that you don't often see elsewhere. Topping it off, the brewery is family-owned by Lafayette locals, giving it an authentic, community-first feel that makes you want to come back and support it again. Welcome Western Flyer!

Fantastic!! Finally Open! Great beer selection and excellent wine selection as well. Yet to try what appear to be wonderful snacks. This place is selling a variety of West Coast IPA's and Mexican German and American lagers and pilsners. Have not yet tried the birria or Tinga tacos, guacamole or chips. The beer and wine is great. I sampled a German pilsner which was crisp and clean and the imperial Stout which is luscious, rich with flavor, bitterness and alcohol. Although not advertised as a bourbon, barrel-aged drink but reminded me of such beverages. Friendly staff. Comfortable seating, lively spacious and feel good music. Nice indoor outdoor experience with large openings. Plenty of accessible entrances, ramps. Super friendly staff serving and cleaning. Can't wait to come here again for a sit-down meal and enjoy!

We've been loving Western Flyer and are so glad it's finally opened, it's quickly become one of our go-to spots in Lafayette. The tacos are consistently delicious (fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot every time), and the chips + guac are a must-order... perfectly crisp chips and super fresh, well-balanced guacamole. It's also such an easy place to bring the whole family. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, and there's truly something for everyone, whether you're there with kids or meeting friends. And the drinks...so good. The beer is on point and super refreshing, especially on a warm day. And they have other options for non beer drinkers. Overall, just a great neighborhood spot that nails both the food and the atmosphere. We'll definitely keep coming back!

Walked in at last call carrying a bag of groceries and these kind folks satiated my thirst with the fine Devo Series 2 and a comfy seat to rest my weary bones.

Perfect afternoon with a delish Czech pils.

He said it was good. No complaints. I ordered a salmon sandwich that had cole slaw and pickles on a brioche bun. It was very messy to eat. I think they should have used a more crusty bread, one that will hold the sandwich together. The sandwich fell apart on me and I had to eat it with a knife and fork. We asked for some hot sauce, but the waitress failed to mention that it wasn't free. Who charges for hot sauce anyway? We don't mind paying $1 for it, but at least warn us. Overall, this place had good vibes, the waitstaff was great and attentive and we didn't wait long for the check.
