From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Grace with a genuine smile and welcoming tone. I was the only one in the waiting room, which was clean and inviting, with snacks, coffee, water, and juice available. It smelled so fresh and well-kept. I was called in exactly at my appointment time. The hygienist took my X-rays and completed the cleaning all in the same room. She was very gentle and thorough--scraping each tooth, flossing, and polishing with care. The dentist arrived afterward, reviewed my X-rays, and performed a detailed examination. He had such a friendly and upbeat demeanor that immediately put me at ease. I highly and wholeheartedly recommend this dental office without reservation.

I had gone in for an emergency appointment, I told the doctor/nurses how I was feeling about it everything and they were all very accommodating and compassionate. Once I got in the room, everything went so fast, they definitely didn't give me a chance to think about what was going to be happening and before I knew it I was fast asleep. The procedure went by so quick! I did feel a little out of it after but there was absolutely no pain or discomfort. I will be doing a follow up in 2 weeks to ensure my recovery is going well and the wounds are healing properly. I definitely will be going back here to look into getting braces since the wisdom teeth ended up causing a lot of overcrowding in mine. Thank you to Dr. Choyee and everyone here!

Highly recommend Dr. Choyee for your oral surgery needs!…read more My wisdom teeth had been causing pain for a few weeks, so I was looking to get them extracted as soon as possible. I had a consultation with a different dentist, but I felt a a bit uneasy about the treatment plan they suggested, so I wanted to get a second opinion from an oral surgeon. I came across Dr. Choyee's practice while searching for oral surgeons that accepted Delta Dental PPO and found positive reviews. Upon calling his office, I was grateful that they had availability later that week for a consultation & same day extraction. Even starting from the phone call, I already felt more at ease. The receptionists were all very knowledgeable and helped explain how my insurance would be applied and other things to expect. The day of the extraction, I was at the office for an hour in total (consultation + extraction). After taking a quick panoramic x-ray, I decided to go with local anesthesia and only felt mild pressure during the procedure. No stitches were needed and I was sent home with gauze & instructions to pickup a mouthwash from my local pharmacy. Overall, Dr. Choyee and his staff were kind, thorough, and made the process a lot less painless than anticipated.

But in this case, I feel it's important to share. I came to this office years ago after moving to Cerritos, right before my wedding, simply looking for a new dentist and a routine cleaning. They had great reviews, which is why I trusted them. From the start, I was told I had extensive issues--multiple cavities needed to be redone and several crowns were recommended. This was surprising to me, as I've consistently gone to the dentist and had never been told I needed such drastic work. Still, I trusted their assessment. The procedures that followed were some of the most painful dental experiences I've ever had. They took hours, felt extremely aggressive, and left me in severe pain afterward--far beyond what I've ever experienced with dental work. I have a high pain tolerance, and this felt very wrong. What was most frustrating was what happened next. I returned multiple times explaining that I couldn't sleep, eat, or function due to the pain. Each time, my concerns were dismissed and attributed to things like not flossing (umm I couldn't floss because of the extreme pain), which didn't make sense given the level of pain I was in. After pushing back repeatedly--especially with my wedding just days away--I insisted something was seriously wrong and requested further evaluation. It turned out I needed three root canals as a result of their prior work. Separately, the crowns that were placed caused ongoing issues. Eating anything with texture would cause gum pain, and I noticed unusual gaps that trapped food. When I brought this up, I was told the only solution was to redo the crowns at additional cost. My crowns also came off. Later, I happened to see a different dentist at the same office (a female provider who may have been temporary), and she immediately noted that the crowns had been placed at an awkward angle. She corrected them, and since then, I've had no pain and no further issues such as crowns falling off. I ultimately switched dentists and have not needed any major dental work since--just routine cleanings every six months, with no recurring problems. Based on what I went through--particularly the aggressive treatment, the outcome, and the dismissal of my concerns--I feel it's important for others to have full context before making a decision.

From the moment I met Dr Le for our consultation he knew I was a complicated case. Don't wait until you are 40 to get your wisdom teeth removed!!!!!! Huge mistake. Dr Le had to remove both of my lower wisdom teeth and one molar in front of my wisdom tooth, he also had to do a bone graph because of the bone loss due to major infection. I was EXTREMELY scared but knew this needed to be done. I choose to be sedated which was the best thing!! I was conscious but extremely relaxed. Overall the surgery went very well and I'm now recovering. Very minimal pain and swelling. Dr Le knows his sh$t! Don't hesitate! He will get the job done and right the first time! I would recommend him to my friends and family. Thank you Dr Le for helping me ease back into taking care of my teeth again and getting my life back!

!!BE AWARE!! (Horrible Experience)…read more I went in to see Dr. Bach Le for a surgery. He went over my procedure and told me someone would be in shortly to go over cost and my insurance. A lady came in with normal paperwork to sign about the procedure and another piece of paper mixed in for a bill for a "autopsy" which they were claiming on the autopsy paperwork would not be able to be covered by insurance and was also 2X more than the cost of the actual procedure. When the lady handed me the paper work she did not go over anything with me other than I just needed to sign and initial where the lines were. As I went through the paperwork I noticed the "autopsy" bill and when she came back in to go over cost of the procedure I asked if I even needed this because my situation. She said she would ask the Dr. after 5 min she came back in and said that I didn't need to and that I don't have to pay the bill for the autopsy and that only needed to pay for the deductible for my surgery. So she took the paperwork away. I paid the deductible and the lady said to just wait a few minutes and they would take me back. A few minutes go by and the original nurse who brought me in the room came in with my original paperwork and said you just forgot to print your name at the top of the page which she pointed out and then went to the bottom left corner of the top page and bent it back slightly and said to just sign your signature here and then handed me the papers. When I looked at that back page that she said to "just sign your signature here" it was the exact same autopsy bill page! SUPER SHADY!!!!!! I was super upset because it felt like they were trying to pull a fast one on me. I got upset and walked out and told them I want to leave and want my money back. Dr.Le was in the hallway and tried to tell me a bunch of BS and the lady started to backtrack and say she misunderstood the Dr. they knew exactly what they were doing and are super shady! I would never recommend anyone go there. They will scam you if you are not aware.
