Beware they do not have dental hygienists. Dental assistant does the polishing the x-rays and the dental floss and that's what they consider a cleaning. Then the dentist comes in and then he'll look at your teeth . Then he told me that my tooth was needed to be fixed cuz it was cracked or chipped or something but there's no chips there's no cracks. He did not clean my teeth he looked in my mouth he was there for approximately 2 to 5 minutes she'd already polished and lost and x-rayed my teeth before he ever walked in so you're telling me that she does all that before he cleans my teeth I'm so confused. My teeth were never clean. So the dentist came from another state there has to be a reason right be very leery at this place a lot of the good reviews I don't know where they came from but to me I would have to question if they're really humans. read more

My filling came out while I was visiting from our of town, and I was a trying to find a dentist that could treat me in the next day or two. They managed to fit me in the same day that I called. I went with my husband and I was just in shock by so many things about this dental office. We just recently moved from the south to the west and he was having major teeth pain. The pro to this office is we called and was able to get in 1st thing next morning at 9am. (I saw why afterwards.) The cons is the dental hygienist was very non social and seemed like she was in such a rush, I've never seen any dentist extract teeth the way she was. She was ruthless and had no compassion for how my husband was feeling nor how he was going to heal after using so many tools and gadgets in his mouth. The worst part is she picked up a pen with the same bloody gloves and signed something for a dental assistant and then went back to picking up tools to go work on my husbands mouth. She was rushing his 4 extractions and bouncing around 5 other patients in the same time his appointment was!!!!! So unprofessional, awkward, unsanitary and just a plain uncomfortable encounter. They may get you in but she would never work on my mouth! It's now day 6 afterwards and my husband is in sooooooo much pain!!!! read more

There is a reason this dentistry has very poor reviews. I started going here off and on when it was a brand new office at 16th street on the westside of Indianapolis. I saw the male dentist Dr R...not sure of his name. He was great. He was gentle and explained things without being rude or condescending, unlike the female Dentists there. My son and my neighbor both complained she was extremely rude and didn't numb them up well with the gel before the needle. I was actually in the next room with the male Dentist when I head my neighbor say she wasn't numb. The female dentists tone and behavior was enough to ensure I would never go back here. I wanted to keep him as my dentist, but I couldn't because they said he goes place to place and helps out and said I could make an appointment with him, but it may be another dentist. I said no way, too many complaints against that female dentist and I witnessed what she said about it's "fine" to my neighbor. My son said she scolded him about dental care and was very rough with him. He's a pretty mans man type guy, so when he said she was rough and rude, I believed it after I witnessed her nastiness with my neighbor. Anyway, I told them I want an appointment with him because I trust his care and need my teeth cleaned and a plan for a partial. When they said they wouldn't ensure he would be the dentist and it may be her, I said I have to find another dentist then. They literally said ok bye. They would not work with me to ensure I was able to see the dentist I started there with, who practices there and whom I trust. ok bye? customer service is awful. The female dentist with the accent is rude and awful. You can get dental care anywhere, why go to this place? They treat you like you should be grateful for them instead of grateful and nice to us for our business. People, quit allowing these people to treat you less than your worth. read more

this place does not even deserve a 1star review. I will start by saying that the dentist is extremely nice, however she has so much going on being the only dentist. i will preface by saying that the dentist that quit did semi explain that the immediate dentures "could" come out with problems .the 1st dentist pulled the first 8 teeth i had no problems no bone pieces came out the gums were smooth .i went back in about 3 weeks to have the impressions done 3 more weeks before they did a semi fitting to see if the impressions were ok and they were not so they redid them took 3 x. they never checked that impression before making the dentures. 3 weeks later i had a voice message saying they were ready to pull and put the dentures in . when i called back to set the appt. the office manager said the prior auth was expired. it was partially my fault for waiting and part theres for taking so long Inbetween the processes. the office manager was extremely rude throughout this phone call to the point i asked for her boss and she told me there was no one. i ended up hanging up on her it took a few additional days to get the auth. Approve i had the front 13 teeth pulled and that is where it went from bad to worse. like i said the dentist is extremely nice, however the numbing kept wearing off she kept giving me more but when she started pulling the bottom teeth i could smell infection to the point it was gagging me, and i felt all the bottom teeth she pulled, she kept telling me she had no idea why i could feel it , just bear with me, i was crying so hard when i walked out the door i could not speak, when they shoved the dentures in and i saw them , the gums were so pale they looked like a dead persons she said that if i didnt like them they would fix it , just give it time it was because everything else was so red. that was not the case i will attach photos. within 72hr i started chilling 101.7 temp and my head swelled double i went in and saw a different dentist and he prescribed stronger antibiotics and said if my temp got any higher to go to the hospital. because she did not do an xray to see the infection any other dentist i have been to before pulling any teeth an xray is done, the xray they were going off of was from April. she said to take them out and clean them and put back in , i could not get them to go back in , because of the way she left my gums and the way the dentures were made they did not match up and would not go in my mouth , i went back several times to get them to get adjust the last time i told them they did not fit in my head and i did not want them , they refused to fix them or give me another pair. she said she had done everything she could to fix them and referred me to her personal dentist. on the referral she put that i was not happy with the immediate dentures like it was my fault i was "just not happy with them " no they would not fit, when i made an apt. With the referral dentist and he told me he was her dentist he wouldnt say anything bad about her because all his business was fixing other dentist mistakes. they charged my insurance for the surgery ,referral has to do which is only paid for once in a lifetime by anthem hip. I have filed an appeal i have filed insurance fraud because she did not do any surgery . The stitches she put in busted within 24hr. I called the office and explained all this to the office manager and she assured me that we would get something taken care of and no one ever called me back . I am having to pay 6500 to have the surgery done and a new set of dentures made. I have contacted an attorney and starting the process to report them to the medical/dental board. with all that being said, there are to many places that do immediate dentures, they pull all the teeth the same day and put the dentures in and have no problems like this. I have had so many pieces of bone come out that my gums two months later are still swollen and sore and having to have surgery this week to fix what she messed up . DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE EVEN IF IT IS THE LAST PLACE YOU HAVE TO GO , INSURANCE WILL PAY FOR TRANSPORTATION FOR YOU TO GO OTHER PLACES. I WOULD NOT HAVE LEFT ANYONE AS THEY DID ME AND NOT ATTEMPT TO FIX THE PROBLEM TO THE BEST OF THERE ABILITY . WHEN I HAVE ATTEMPTED TO GET MY MEDICAL RECORDS THEY REFUSE TO GIVE THEM TO ME, THEY GAVE ME A LIST OF THE THINGS THEY HAVE CHARGED MY ACCOUNT FOR BUT WOULD NOT GIVE ME MY MEDICAL RECORDS. THIS IS YOUR RIGHT AS A US CITIZEN ALL MEDICAL PROVIDERS INCLUDING DENTIST HAVE TO PROVIDE YOUR RECORDS IF YOU ASK FOR THEM , THEY CAN NOT TELL YOU NO. Today is 12/12 i have lost approx. 17pounds i still can not fit those in my mouth to be able to eat. It will be 3-6month before i am healed from the surgery to fix this before i can get a set from a dentist that is qualified .most business's that will stand behind the people they hire and when they mess up this bad they address the situation and try to fix it the best they can . read more

So about two and a half weeks ago I went in and got eight cavities worked on and then three days later I got a deep cleaning during my deep cleaning it felt like this woman was digging in my mouth with a jackhammer two of my teeth were chipped in the process of my deep cleaning and now I am in so much pain I feel like I can feel sound and light in my mouth all of my teeth are now sensitive to hot and cold and the pain on one side of my face is almost unbearable it isn't just in my mouth on one side it is my face the pain is gone behind my eye in my ear in my jaw it is excruciating this place needs to be shut down it was like a nightmare the pain that I was in during and now after when she shot my gum with the pain medication she shot it in the first time the second and third time because I still could feel everything she squirted it in my mouth she didn't put it in my gum she didn't stick me like she did the first time she just took the syringe and squirted then knowing medication in my mouth The whole experience felt like I was in some sort of horror movie I was squeezing that chair so tight and what she was doing I felt like she was trying to dig all my teeth out with a scooping instrument and anytime that I would jump from the pain she just asked me what's wrong with me If I could I would give this place - 5 stars- because Because this experience was traumatizing it was a nightmare read more

I've been coming here even since I received a brochure in the mail and they are professional, kind, treat me like family and the dental work is amazing. Great Great service. Best in town? I think not. I went to the Westend on 16th St. to have 3 front teeth extracted in February. All I asked for is a partial/ bridge for my three missing teeth. They want to pull all. I went back on March 17 for impressions. They tore the inside of my mouth up trying to find the right size piece. Stated once again only the partial. They put in for a full set, again. I also ended up with a thrush infection from the fitting. It's now Almost April and no teeth! Called and the receptionist was rude. Don't go there. Beware. read more

I was going to the Lafayette, IN location. My regular dentist Dr. Rana was awesome. He put me at ease and really helped me feel better about my fear of dentists. Then Dr. Rana left. First the Lafayette location hid this from me and scheduled me with Dr. V. He has a poor bedside manor and was accusatory about me getting my teeth cleaned. He didn't even take into account my deep rooted fear of dentists and made me feel bad. I rescheduled with Dr. V after being contacted by West End dental to get my crown finished. I wasn't going to see him again as he refused to prescribe the diagram that Dr.Rana did. I took my last 2 tabs of the Diazapam to get get the crown and showed up for my appointment. They refused to see me because I jad COVID 19 at the beginning of August. IhD already been released after my quarantine and was released by my primary doctor. I can work, go to the store, eat in a restaurant and resume my regular activities but they would not see me and wasted my time. I will never use WEST end dental ever again and will tell everyone about there bs practices. read more

This place was one of the worst experiences that I have had in a while. I have to admit that the staff was friendly, but this doesn't make up for the lack of management. They were overbooked, and the doctor had about three patients at one time. I waited for 1:30 minutes before they called me back. The assistance was not very sanitary in their processes (e.g., touching other objects) and wanting to stick their hands in my mouth without changing gloves. Staff and Denist was nice. However Dentist is NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO BE PULLING. I had 2 teeth extracted over 2 weeks ago... I am still in pain.. and have gaping holes. I tried to go back 8 days after my extracts and was treated like a drug seeker. No x-rays .. just acted as if I was over reacting ... offered me mouth wash.
