I felt confident about my smile walking out the door. I have a nervous system disorder that makes me twitch, and they were very accommodating to my situation while remaining thorough. She used a slightly duller electric tool to do the deep cleaning/scraping that could have potentially injured me if she had used a sharper tool and I had twitched. She was very kind and supportive during mouth x-rays as well. The cleaning process was very easy and Amber showed great attention to detail in areas where tartar buildup was the worst. Dr. Huseman is a great guy, and he was very informative while showing me my x-rays and walking me through my future filling procedure. This place can get lost in its strip mall between the DMV and the Hobby Lobby, with the sign only saying 'Family Dentistry.' But make no mistake, these folks are top-notch and will alleviate your fear of going to the dentist. Update: I went back for fillings a few months ago, and I am still satisfied and happy about my oral health. 5 stars.

I do not reside in Noblesville and have traveled to him all these years due to his great service. When my child was born, I scheduled her to be a patient which she has been for the last 2 years. Throughout those years, his receptionist Anastasia has been rude and unprofessional when scheduling appointments with me as well as rescheduling appointments. When speaking with her she has a negative attitude, talks over me while I'm talking and rushes me off the phone. Almost as if she doesn't want us to be patients there. I requested to speak with Dr. Huseman, at his convenience, to discuss my experience with Anastasia and this request was denied. Although, we have given this dentist office years of support, they do not care about customer loyalty or customer service. I recommend better customer service, a customer care line, office manager, or the office record calls if no one is willing to accept constructive criticism or have difficult conversations. These could all be good strategic/measurement tools to use to prevent bad customer service and present bad customer service if it continues. Remember who you have on the frontline of your business is the most important because they represent you. If I can't be heard to discuss a complaint with a receptionist I know for a fact I won't be heard if there's a concern with my dental care. I no longer recommend this dental facility.

Let me tell you, if you are scared of Halloween stories you may not want to continue this post. Everyone was really nice; they always gave us some cute dentist object to take home. My initial review probably indicates this. Now for the saga. We were always asked to pay before our departure. Without seeing insurance assurance or really know what amount we were accountable for. Ok, I am still trusting and paying. The office did not appear to be really clean and that bothered me, so I mentioned fingerprints on the lamp and how they were handling tools to be placed in my mouth. They assured me they were clean, and they used some disinfected, that made things not sparkle. (I will skip ahead and tell you my new dentist was cleaning the whole time I was there) Now for the "getter of the story". The dentist said that I was needing a new crown for my back tooth. I never had problems with it, but she insisted that I was sure to need in the future. I asked the cost, and she told me my insurance would cover, $1650. I didn't think so but both she and the office member had agreed that the insurance had preapproved the service. OK, well there was pressure and like a dumb (you can fill out in the word) I went ahead. I called UHC the minute I got home. No preapproval, not enough benefits and she forwarded me to the website to verify But wait there is more. She was right I did not have benefits so I was told the Dr could hold me accountable. (seeing smoke yet?) In addition, there were numerous payments for both my husband and me that we had paid, and the insurance had also paid. (Are you thinking what I am thinking?) While I am going through all of this, I find they are replacing a tooth of his and looking at his Tonge for cancer. (usually free but at this office $50 charge not covered by insurance) Care is questionable. I never felt comfortable or felt that I am receiving caring service. Often times I didn't even know the tech's name. I go to the end the office manager would no longer speak with me because she said I was going to put her in jail??? I called UHC and reported fraud, at this point there is no mention of refund. I contacted my credit card company reported fraud and then forwarded a certified letter, to the Dentist personally. Finally, I got our $1000+ back and found a new dentist, Dr Brown on Shadeland. If you would like to see my review there, I will be posting soon.

It was my first time, and I was treated like a VIP. The team was incredibly efficient and was able to provide my cleaning effectively and easily. Their pricing was comparable to the other places I had checked out, so the value and pricing were in line. I take that back, the value was greater than the pricing! The first one was fine (female dentist 1), the second visit with male dentist was "hard sell city" with a lot of "if you don't do this now, the consequences will be dire...and oh, by the way, we're having a seminar in a couple of days about this exact thing, so if you go to that, we'll knock a couple hundred bucks off". I may have been born at night, but it wasn't last night; I switched dentists and have been happy since. My spouse went in, saw female dentist 1 the first time, everything was great, but female dentist 2 gave her the hard sell about crown replacements (they said 15 needed to be done NOW!). My spouse got a second opinion and the verdict was "3 needed work soon, the rest can be monitored and we'll handle them if/when need be." I guess you have to pay for that North Meridian address rent somehow, but I just want an honest dentist and NOT a car salesman. Also, do NOT even attempt to discuss anything with the billing department...there was a balance of $4.27 (yes, you read that right, four dollars and twenty-seven cents...there was always a couple of bucks that insurance didn't cover that we paid, this was typical and was taken care at the next appointment) that was left over from our previous dentist (he did abruptly retire) that was from my spouse's last appointment with him; they hounded ME like a debt collector for $4.27...and I hadn't even been there AND they wouldn't even give me an invoice or say what it was for. I have been very impressed with Dr. Ahlbrecht and his team (notably, his receptionist Gwen). Dr. Ahlbrecht took a lot of time at my first appointment to really get to know me and my teeth. After years of having my gums bleed (I have always taken care of my teeth properly and gone to the dentist twice a year to have my teeth cleaned) and being told that there's nothing I can do to fix it, I went back for a periodontal cleaning at Dr. Ahlbrecht's office, which helped my gum bleeding problem stop! As a young professional, this experience was one of my first off of my parent's insurance plan and on my own. Gwen not only created a welcoming, friendly atmosphere in the office, but she and her colleagues were more than happy to help me figure out my insurance and what the cost of everything was going to be. They were really understanding and very supportive and I'm so appreciative of that!

I'm middle aged but my teeth have looked way better. I booked an appointment and she basically gave me the straight shit. I was disappointed to hear the bad news especially after already having had braces twice in my life. She recommended an orthodontist she trusted and that was it. So why the 5 star review? Because she was nice, frank and HONEST. She didn't try to sell me things I didn't need or that wouldn't give me the results I was looking for. Awesome.
