They were both so very nice and respectful, and went above and beyond what they were hired to do (a dresser was moved, only to reveal a big hole in the wall behind it. They located material to cover the hole, and installed it before they left). They did arrive in a hearse LLOL but that's just those guys - they are awesome!! :) My initial interaction with CertaPro was with Matt Gardner. Took him about 5 minutes to get the info he needed for the quote, and then we had a nice chat while he was working it up - hired them on the spot!! If you want quality, efficient and affordable painting done, I would recommend these folks 100%!!

Ally initially contacted me, and during our conversation we discussed the scope of the project and…read moreagreed on a set price. She was friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout the process, which made me feel confident about moving forward. She explained that her co-owner, Joe, along with a newer employee, would be completing the installation of our luxury vinyl plank flooring as part of a training opportunity. The installation was originally scheduled for Thursday, but I later received a message asking if it could be moved up by one day. Wanting to be flexible, I agreed to the change. My husband and I then spent a significant amount of time preparing our basement for the installation. We cleared out the entire area, cleaned thoroughly, and made sure everything was ready so the job could begin without any delays. We had recently moved here from out of state, and completing this project was an important step in getting our home fully set up. Our children were especially excited, as the finished basement would allow them to move into their new rooms. When Joe arrived, his demeanor gave the impression that he did not want to do the job. After greeting him, I showed him the basement and where the flooring materials were located. Instead of moving forward with the installation, he questioned why I had not chosen to do the work myself. I explained that I had already completed a large portion of the basement work and had hired professionals specifically to handle the flooring. He then mentioned that he had forgotten the contract and asked if I could print it for him. In order to keep things moving, I set up my printer, printed the contract, and signed it. Shortly afterward, he came back upstairs and stated that the job was too large and involved too many cuts. He claimed the project had been described as a single room, which was not accurate based on our earlier discussions. At that point, he requested additional payment beyond what had already been agreed upon. This was unexpected and frustrating, especially since we had already adjusted our schedule and put in the effort to fully prepare the space. Despite this, Ally remained responsive and attempted to make the situation right, which I appreciated. Overall, while Ally provided a positive and professional customer service experience, the issues during the installation that didn't happen--particularly the lack of preparation, miscommunication about the scope of work, and the request for more money upon arrival--made the experience disappointing. We hope this feedback helps improve communication and reliability for future customers.
