Phil went out of his way to resolve this problem, which saved us the stress of either doing it ourselves or finding another lot. To make matters worse, the hardware holes throughout the project were drilled crooked, causing doors and drawers to be visibly misaligned. The installers were friendly, but friendliness does not make up for poor workmanship, lack of quality control, and inadequate follow-through on warranty and service issues. Had I seen a review describing these kinds of problems before hiring this company, I would have looked elsewhere. In my experience, the biggest issue appears to be the new ownership and the decline in quality and customer service that has followed.

The bottom edge of one backsplash was cut crooked, and the caulking was messy--uneven, poorly applied, and visually distracting. I've already removed and redone the caulk on the makeup counter. I contacted the company about the issue, and they did come out to inspect it. They acknowledged the problem and said they would follow up. That was over two months ago. Since then, I've reached out multiple times--by phone and email--and have received no response. No update, no repair, no accountability. For a project that should have added value and beauty to my home, I'm left with a flawed installation and zero customer service. I expected better craftsmanship and professionalism. After a severe storm in our area, we had two large trees destroy a new metal roof we just put on our home and it took out a large portion of the garage roof. At a time when it's hard to find anyone to give you an estimate or return a call.. the Bontrager's were on it in a heartbeat. I had a quote in a few days, not weeks and they scheduled the project as soon as the materials came in, because we had an area on the side of the roof where rain, bees, etc. could enter in, so we were given top priority. Not only did the metal roof and old shingles need to be replaced, (which both structures now have metal roofs) the overhang and rafters of the roof needed to be repaired too. They are affordable, efficient, friendly and the work they completed in 7 hours was amazing. I will refer Bontrager to anyone needing a roof or any carpentry done. Thank you
