Finally showed up two weeks after the start date at 11 am, left at 3 pm, then sporadically showed up between 10 and 11 am for the rest of the weeks it took them, some days not showing up at all, never the same crew (sometimes just one person). Always left by 3 pm. We were constantly having to go behind them and get them to fix something they screwed up, and they had an excuse for everything. They even tried blaming some of their mistakes on us? We spent nearly $40k on what ended up being a below-average job, full of shortcuts with poor quality craftsmanship. I don't care what they come back with, we haven't exaggerated anything.

I had a horrible experience with a different local contractor and lost a ton of money - so needless to say I was very hesitant to enter into a contract with anyone. Simon squashed those fears and represented the company with flying colors! I absolutely would recommend Valley Exteriors. I had my roof (complete tear off), full siding and all doors replaced.

From the initial walk through to the final touch ups, this company did an outstanding job. Let me give you a quick overview of how easy it was to work with these contractors. First, the initial sales person, Michael, was incredibly knowledgeable and able to see the vision we had for the first floor. He took a good number of photos and then met with other project managers at their office. From here, we met with an amazing designer, Halley. She answered every question I had and promised me she would guide me along the way. I had some ideas, and everything I forgot, she gently guided to a solution. I was able to pick everything from the exact sink and faucet, to backsplash and flooring. The amazing communication continued throughout the project using an app called buildertrend. We knew when the contractors were arriving for each step of the process. We were also able to ask questions through the app and received quick responses. I did have a couple of change orders, and even those were handled seamlessly. My project has been done now for about three months, and every day I love seeing the finished project.

Not only did they give me a great price, I liked the young man representing the company. He was very friendly, came off as being honest and knowledgeable and was patient with me as I tried to decide what color I wanted. I was right to hire them, they did a great job, all the workers were very friendly, they showed up on time, completed the job on time, finishing in only 1 day, they cleaned up the site, including using a magnet to chase down any stray nails that may have escaped, though I didn't really notice any. And now 6 months later, the roof still looks great, has no leaks and no ice damns. I would definitely recommend them to my friends or hire them again. Sandy W
